Before you go to Sentara Princess Anne Hospital, you may want to know what the people who have already gone to this Virginia Beach emergency room think.
Monica DillI went in for my son at 3 am. The admissions staff was rude and belittling. They let my 5 year old sit on the floor with their trash can to puke. Never offered to help just kicked a trash can toward him. Saw 1 nurse and then 1 P.A. in 4 hours. Literally once. I’ve never felt so disrespected. I live 5 minutes away and I will go to bayside before I come back to that treatment.Bella Valverde⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI was in and out on less than 30 minutes. Doc knew exactly what was wrong. It took 6 hours at another hospital and they had no clue!! It was/is shingles. Thanks to all the staff at PA! Friendly, empathetic and professional.Goldee RamosThey have no people skills nor do they have any compassion for the patient’s. They should not be working in a hospital whatsoever. I had to leave without being seeing for a migraine that I’ve had for 3 consecutive days. When I asked for the person in charge. She happened to be busy. No help at all. Nothing but sarcastic People working here.Ernesto Ladrido⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI just want to express my thanks to the whole princess Anne emergency department, from the check in to X-ray blood test everyone are so efficient and willing to help with smiles on their faces. I want to thank Dr. Amanda for doing a great job. Thank you for all of your help. I sincerely appreciate it. Ernie L.Beverly Susan Davis⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedExcellent, professional care in a clean and well run emergency room. Laura was our nurse and was beyond superb. It is so nice to have such great care in stressful situations.Tatiana Gonzalez⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI gave birth to my first born less than a week ago and had an amazing experience! First time mom that didn’t have the easiest labor and they took great care of myself and our little man! And recovery! Very attentive staff! I would definitely recommend it!Rachael VaughanThe emergency room bill was outrageous. The total amount for pain medication and an x-Ray for a kidney stone was $10,245.00 with over $2000.00 out of pocket. We have excellent insurance. The billing customer service representative put me on hold and came back with a script that they charge the national average. I do not recommend using their services.Sage McKeandFriend went in with severe abdomenal pain – she was doubled over and on the floor the pain was so bad.. The pelvic exam was extremely painful, they were rude and dismissive. Told her she had an STD and sent her home with antibiotics. She went to her ob gyn a few days later- she had NO STD infection, but she does have ovarian cysts. One had burst in side her ovary and that was causing the intense pain. Everyone at that place was rude and obnoxious. They really don’t care about their patients at all.Patrick Kilduff1 year ago, May 1, 2018, my 19 year old Daughter Julia went into the ER with head and body pain and the ER doctors did not do what was needed for my daughter. She Died there that day and Sentara Doctors did nothing. They are responsible for the death of my daughter.Amy VollWent to the ER, having severe ear and head pain, had an left ear rupture 2 weeks ago, something really stood out that the so called Medical Provider that saw me asked me if I was unemployed, she saw it on my paperwork, okay so I have health insurance and the money to pay the bills. Let’s me know what this medical provider cared about, her getting paid, that is so sad!Casey GoodbredThis visit was shocking and disrespectful. Waited in the ER Lobby from 2:15pm to 6pm…. When we finally went back to the room Dr Olsen was dismissive and combative as my mother tried to explain her symptoms and issues. The Nurse acted annoyed every time we called for help. They never gave us updates or checked in on us. I understand we were not the only people they had to deal with tonight but to be treated like trash really pissed us off.N VStaff is OK, doctor only wants to see you if you’re interesting. Techs are nice. ER lobby looks like trash. Use to look nice now it looka like a free clinic from the 80s. Go somewhere elsePhil Watkins⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedWow. After reading all of these review I was coming here expecting the worst. Well I can assure you I have had a really good experience here. I can right in and was seen within 10 minutes. All of the staff I interacted with were top notch and professional. They were attentive and compassionate. I would recommend this ER for sure. Well, if you actually have something wrong and aren’t chasing pain meds. If you are looking to obtain pain meds I can see how you might have a bad time here. They are diligent in weeding out the fakes. Big ups team. Yall rock. Hopefully I wont have to see yall again, but if I do, I know I am in good hands.Kent Allison⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI had a minor infection turn into sepsis overnight and woke up with severe fever and breathing difficulty. In less than an hour, I was diagnosed, stabilized and headed to ICU. The ER staff dealt with me and my family members with understanding and professionalism. I’m glad I live close by this ER, just in case of any future problem.Marylynn TwisdaleBrought my mom here at 4:30 pm due to something wrong with her hip so severe she’s in tears. It’s now 10 pm and she has yet to be seen. I’ve seen all patients after her go back there be treated and leave. This is the worst hospital ever! Especially when you check there wait times online and it says 30 minutes. What a joke.Matt DuganTook my wife to the emergency room last night, she had multiple symptoms. Her leg was swollen 3 times the normal size, both of her hands were swollen and she was in a lot of pain from it as well as having dizzy spells. We were checked and then placed in the waiting room until called. There was 9 other patients that came in after us, checked in and placed in the waiting room. Those 9 other patients were called back as we still sat there waiting to be called. As we sat there for just about 3 hours waiting to be called back we saw numerous other people come in and taken back before us. We asked the nurse what was happening and she said that they were cleaning a room and that we were next…… total bs….. another patient came into the er, was checked in and called back as we still sat there. Finally at midnight we decided to leave and see if she got any worse at home and if so we would just call an ambulance so we might have a chance to be seen ….. but its doubtful , we will be put back in the waiting room. Very piss poor customer service , recommend that you don’t visit this hospital without health insurance as I believe that is why sat there so damn long because we didn’t have insurance. I would recommend DePaul Hospital in Norfolk or some other hospital not in the Sentara group, you will more then likely be treated like an actual person.Nadi Aldinger⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedVery professional team work, nice staff, quick service.K How…Here currently.
