Tanya Wilkins⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedAs far as a birthing center goes, they offered me an amazing experience for my first child birth. The care and attention that my newborn and I received were amazing, especially being a new mother. Having options such as on demand breast milk, was an incredible help. Being that I had a cesarean, I also got to experience a longer than normal stay. I am grateful for that extra time with the knowledgeable nurses and quiet time with my child. I look forward to my second childbirth experience And recommend this hospital to any one that is expecting a new addition to their lives.ElloitsNao⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedTruly: Could use some fresh paint on walls, however the amazing staff makes up for it! Best team of care, I have ever had in my entire life. If you’re in slo, and in need of help with good care, this is the place to go.Dom-n-Ant And Sasha⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedLove this hospital! We cannot say enough about this place. We had a NICU baby and the nurses/dr’s were amazing! We had to stay there almost 3monsJonathan Collins⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI was hospitalized here unexpectedly while away from home with my family with a painful back injury. The care that I received from the nurses, doctors, case managers, and physical therapists was exemplary. Michele, Anastacia, Nicole, and Kris (apologies to those I have forgotten or did not recall the name of) went above and beyond to assist in my recovery. Please pass this review along to your staff as well as a very warm thank you from the patient in room 154 bed 2 this past weekend.Tim⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI had an amazing experience at this hospital. The staff to patient ratio is very low and everyone is friendly and provides excellent care in a kind and timely manner. I would highly recommend this hospital over the other hospital that is in San Luis Obispo.Electro Pyro⭐️⭐️Had to beg and plead for pain medication after surgery and even then I wouldn’t receive it after I was told I would get it and it lead to very uncomfortable and painful nights. Some nurses were nice and professional, others were forgetful and unaccommodating.Steven FosterI don’t have any complaints about the nurses or doctors. They all seemed ok. The administration here is complete *$#& though. There is zero communication and they horrible and possibly dangerous decisions.Sierra LindAWent to this ER for pain and swelling in my wrist, they took xrays and said there were no breaks, but here I am 1 month later seeing an orthopedist who has been able to confirm that my radius bone was in fact completely cracked. I am self employed and I work with my hands and am probably going to be out of work even longer than i should due to this Hospitals negligence and incompetency. On top of that, when I first entered the hospital, they took me to a room and asked if i had ever used drugs. I was honest with them and told them i did have a past with using drugs that was a long time ago. Then the nurse asked me to wait outside and never finished taking my vitals. When the doctor saw me they took xrays and said there were no breaks. They then gave me tylenol which i told them i had already taken and it didnt work. But they refused to give me any kind of prescription and told me to buy over the counter, although i mentioned i was out of town on a road trip and was running low on funds and that my insurance works with cvs and that i could get medication for free. They were out of line in the way they treated me. I also watched the nurse act nasty and rude towards the intake receptionist. I literally threw a fit on my way out because of the pain i was in and the entire ER staff laughed at me. I will be filing a formal grievance!marcus haidet⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedNot sure about others experiences here but recently I had a family member here in a car accident. The staff was friendly, helpful and available. I have had several other hospital stays and Sierra Vista treated our family and our family member with great care.Melissa Jones⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedWhat a wonderful experience. I had to go to the ER yesterday and was met with immediate care. No waiting, everyone was extremely friendly and knowledgeable and I feel I received the upmost care. I was so impressed with how well I was treated I was put it is immediately but very knowledgeable staff. I would highly recommend this hospital.Pamalee Brady⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedPhlebotomists are great!Ann McAlinden⭐️⭐️⭐️the facility was substandard, the nurses work long shifts, and have way too many patients, they are very rushed. the nurses aids i found to be very caring and gentle. the cafeteria has a great salad bar. the rooms are crowded.Eva CameronLeaky foley with a Chic a Erika If you want to wallow in your own piss check in, Emily leaves patient wet not walking her hourly safety rounds. Then her excuse is the patient wants to be wet….she lies and is a JERK and is antisocial without social eye contact and hello how are you skills. The scheduler is worse and doesn’t put you on the schedule later she does and doesn’t let the nurse know so then you are a blamed fool for not coming to work when you told management the night before you had six nights off?????? BINGO we got a WINNER!!!! Spiritual warfare nurses don’t say hi now…ignorance and neglect. Try love and kindness one day and how about a work ethic? Pray the staff uses AIDET as well as the eight behaviors of nursing and a new rule no cell phones at the unit desk. A quiet zone poster is not there as well as an oasis for personal food and drink! New grads are not trained here. The new grads just come for a check and are computer nurses not patient care centered. No team work with the new grads either. Unfriendly and extremely ignorant. Kaitlin is the charge nurse at night that thinks the RX nurse can’t count , lol, very extremely IGNORANT! The trainer nurse Chica or Erica does not care for a hospice leak foley is belittled. Then, Cindy puts no AGENDA for travel nurses, taboo. This is poor management from upper Cindy. Get out quick cause seeing is believing! Toxic environment without trust. The scheduler put me on the schedule and did not tell me that is just DUMB. Then I became a do not use for exposure of these undignified care givers of San Luis Obispo. Erica the night charge is on her cell phone with personal agenda with new grads on cell phones at night this is why the leaky foley patient got to wallow in piss. These nurses have poor upper management with no one to follow policy’s… this is sad these are not 8 Behavior s of nursing nurses they are personal cell phone nurses without a work ethic including the charge nurse and poor upper management. Taboo.Billy GatezThe conditions here are disgusting; take a minute to look at any ventilation system in any bathroom and admire the crud. Dr’s are rushed, rude and impersonal. A few nurses are stellar, others are rude. And it is a for profit enterprise, capitalizing on people’s misfortunes. French is not for profit, new, and not a disgusting antiquated dump. I was stuck in that “jail” for 8 days with my spouse trying to have a baby, ending up in a c section which was 5 days after arriving. Horrible nightmare, discussed in therapy I take from the trauma endured. Delirium from that place over the time spent is still being recovered from, a year later.chj7667If the patient is elderly they will do less than zero. I sure hope Dr Robinson is no longer an e.r. doctor there! He refused to run tests on my Grandmother for pneumonia. I suspected she had it for over a week, as she had all the symptoms in the book! The most obvious being she was so delirious she didn’t even know her own name! Dr Robinson just said there is nothing wrong & sent her home. I nearly got into a shouting match with him to get him to run tests. Come to find out he violated hospital policy by doing so when I filed a complaint against him with administration. She ended up with the pneumonia diagnosis at a different hospital but the damage had already been done! He must have gotten his medical license from a Cracker Jack box! You took *years* off her life you incompetent uncaring quack! I also filed a complaint with the state medical board against him but never got a response if Dr Robinson is still there make sure you request a different doctor to see you! Otherwise you are seriously risking your life!Janet Wallace⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedBrought my three year old in for respiratory difficulty. Even though it was crazy busy flu season, the professionals at Sierra Vista took excellent care of us. They were efficient, thorough, and caring. My child had an X-ray and respiratory therapy, both of which were done in a timely manner after arrival. Everyone was super kind!Brittany Stanton⭐️⭐️I am very disappointed with the way they run their ped unit. We got transferred last night for my 1 month old to get monitored over night and the day nurse told us at 9am that the doctor would be in to see us in 20-30 minutes, it’s currently 11:30am and the dr had to be called away to look at a lab… I would like to know what is going on with my child and if everything is normal but I guess it’s not important to them. Also the day nurses at extremely rude and full of attitude. Will never bring my baby to Sierra vista againAnthony F. AngelicHave a look at my facebook account for reviews. A ‘criminal’establishment.tiffany biglerWorst surgery center I’ve ever been to first off they never asked me if I had any pain meds left for home they assumed I did n never gave me any and then they said I’d have a small cut they’d go through to remove kidney stone n instead they ween through my vaginal area with out me knowing as I was put under so I feel as if they sexual assaulted me for not telling me this were the paper I signed said they be going through a cut they made this is not right n I am looking in on sueing for medical malpracticeNicole Lee⭐️⭐️I was almost completely ignored even with seizures!
