Mary Clark⭐️⭐️Nurse was great but doctor wouldn’t give medication for what I needed. I feel it was crazy because they are getting paid for services. I’m not impressed with that doctor. I was treated great when I had appendix surgery. I was sick and my blood pressure was up and they sent me home. I was shocked at poor care. Then some guy came in my room with a leather jacket 2 times. It said medical but not dressed like a doctor or nurse. I had a toilet next to my bed. What if I was using it? It would of been embarrassing. He didn’t have a right to come in my room. This was without asking.Misty MoranThis hospital is NOT wheelchair friendly!!!!! Caution if you have a wheelchair van any higher that 8 feet tall you have to park at least two blocks away and push the wheelchair uphill. They totally ruined the parking lot by putting in a parking garage with no consideration to the elderly and handicapped!!!!Cari Johnson⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️The positive qualities of our ER visit in Klamath Falls- My son was brought to a private and clean room fairly quickly, the front desk receptionist and the intake nurse were very pleasant, and we left the ER with a diagnosis. The pleasantness ended after our first 30 minutes, when we had to deal with the rest of the ER staff. The negative aspects of our ER visit- the room nurses and Dr. we saw were unprofessional and almost rude. We are not frequent attenders of the ER, and were going in because of serious concerns. My son had been running a high fever (over 107) and hallucinating. We checked the thermometer on three other people, and it read accurately, around 98. We’ve been using this thermometer for about a year, and it has been fairly accurate. Regardless, we borrowed an ear thermometer from our mother to compare, and they had almost identical readings. Upon discovering the fever of 107, we had my son take a double dose of ibuprofen and get in a cool bath. After about 30 minutes, his fever dropped to 104, but we decided to take him to the ER to figure out what was causing the fever. After getting out of the tub, we put bags of ice in his armpits, and left them there until we arrived at the ER. We live about 45 minutes from the ER, and by the time we arrived at the ER, his fever was down to approximately 100. We were thrilled, but still extremely concerned about what may cause such a high fever. The wait was no big surprise to us, as that is common in an ER, and by the time we were done, we were told my son tested positive for influenza. What we found so frustrating was the Dr. and the second nurse we saw acted like we were stupid for even thinking my son could have a fever that high. The condescending tone Dr. Udnik used was completely uncalled for. The first nurse my son had was somewhat rude, but not so condescending. The rudest and most condescending person, by far, was the Dr. Yes, it’s highly unlikely a person have a fever so high, but we triple checked the thermometer when we checked it against three other people, took multiple readings on my son, and checked it against another thermometer. Even if it was wrong, was it necessary for the Dr. to insinuate that we were either idiots or liars? In the past we’ve had positive experiences with Merle West/Sky Lakes, but this experience made me realize where the negative attitude many in the community have towards the facility comes from. How sad and unfortunate that a few rude, disrespectful individuals can give a medical center a poor reputation.cory fry⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedThis is a good hospital. They helped my dad alot and he enjoyed the staff, said they were very kind and Dr Baley was awesome. And many others to list, like PA Samantha. This is a good hospital!J WWent to Sky Lakes emergency room last night. What a terrible idea! Only went here cause my doctor doesnt have an appointment available for a couple weeks. Got there just after 7 in the evening. Took over 4 and a half hours just to get beyond the waiting room. Before I even talked to a doctor they wanted a urine sample and even drew blood for labs. But, how does one know what blood panels to run when you have not seen the dr. And that’s the biggest insult. Once put in a room I was assigned Dr. Shaun Spalding. This guy has no bed side manner and is extremely rude. He asked why I was there. He asked me if I want an iv or something for the pain before he addressed the issue at all. Actually had to tell him what I want was to know what’s wrong with me! His reply was that it was an emergency room. They will not tell me or even look for what’s causing my issues, they are there just to make sure it’s not an emergency Let him know I had pain in my side. Pain that is causing issues with mobility at times. Physically indicated to him where the pain was and even then he did not listen to me. He then pushed on a location where I did not indicate the issue to be. And even though I told him all I really wanted to know was a diagnosis, he ordered Toradol injected in to me. Next he orders a CT scan. Fast forward, here comes the person that is doing discharges to release me. Had to tell him to hold on, ask him why I was being discharged as Dr. Shaun Spalding never told me what if any findings. Just ordered this guy to have me discharged. It was the guy doing discharge that had to tell me nothing found in my labs or ct scan. Gave me a prescription for toradol and sent me on my way. I’m at home today, yes it’s nice to know that I’m not worried about collapsing or being an emergency, but I still have pain and no cause to know how to treat it. The only good thing about Dr. Shaun spaulding, he kept his word. He did not diagnose for the cause of my issue, just rules out it being an emergency issue for now. Does not even deserve the one star on this review. P.S. the toradol has a few side affects that I care not for. I am a father, and the drug they gave me, I will not take if my wife is not home to help with our kids. I will not take if I have to go anywhere outside of my house. This stuff is awful, and I only had the shot they gave me in the ER. I work and when not working have my children to take care of. Toradol had such an impact that at one point I forgot where I was. Useless medication if you have respinsibilities!Miki⭐️⭐️Was put in a room, I thought, oh nice, my own room… As I waited for my IV bag to be changed I noticed how filthy the floors were. I started to get grossed out, it looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in over a month. Then I thought, what else haven’t they cleaned in over a month? Blood pressure strap put on the same arm my IV was inserted caused the problems with the IV getting backed up with my blood a quarter of the way up to the bag. IV drip was so fast I had to go to the bathroom every half hour, and that was me trying to hold it in. Then I kept having to hook myself back up to the electrocardiogram, because the nurses were to busy congregating around the workstation doing nothing. Got my stuff and got out of there. Barely competent nurses. Last resort kind of place.Jeremy Tchou⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedOnly great experiences here. Wonderful community of medical professionals that care about the community and the people they serve.Purpod GallagherMy 75 year old Mom was brought in by ambulance over an hour ago because she couldn’t breathe, but the frickin ER is on Lockdown so no visitors & no one will tell me how she is This poor woman has only been in K. Falls for approximately 45 days & she’s alone, by herself, with no contact from family. This is WRONG, WRONG, WRONG!!Jaimie GneitingThe tip of my 2 year olds finger was hanging off due to his sister slamming it in the door. My son bled all over the floor for 45 minutes before being seen. He needed stitches bad! They put a butterfly bandage on it that came off before we got home and charged us $650. It was awful… Thanks for the $650 bandaid sky lakes ♡Walter LeddyThis is the worst hospital I have ever been to. I saw Kerry Bayes here. She is a sadistic evil person. I suffer from a severe case of cervical spinal stenosis. This causes me cronic pain daily. I hurt my back and was in terrible pain compounding the Pain I already deal with. She tried to prescribe me toradol witch I cannot take because it will have a bad interaction with other medications I take. When I told her aid I didn’t want the toradol she yelled from the hallway of the emergency ward into my room, “I don’t prescribe narcotics for back pain. I was mortified. I am not a drug addict. I see the same doctors at the clinic witch is part of this medical center and they have all my records. This place is not good unless you want to die.maria torresThis Facility’s ER does not deserve the one I gave, it just wouldn’t let me post otherwise.. The Worst and More Damaging ..EVER!!!Donald Smith⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedBrought my wife in. They’re very professional and explained things in laymen terms. Kent and Dr. Bauman. Thank you for all you do.Joseph AllenI thought this was supposed to be an ER, been waiting for over two hours and seen like five patient’s leave, and all the people sitting here, nobody has gone back.Sbm918Complete waste of time.
