Spa Life⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI have been sick since the beginning of Decmeber. I tried to allow my body to fight what I thought at first to be viral on it’s own with natural remedies. But by 1/6/20 I decided to finally get checked out as I felt dramatically worse. I avoid alopathic Dr as much as possible but I saw Vicki L Cook for help at the walkin in Saco. I feel she did not really listen to me. Just wanted me in and out quickly. She didn’t even want to do a strep test to atleast rule it out, and being pregnant you would think that would have been first. With the test being negative she stated nothing she can do, it’s a lingering cough. A lingering cough does not progressively get worse after a month! And I did get worse over the next few days with a fever, my throat killing me now at a 15 out of 10, feeling as though I have a partial airway obstruction, and no ability to eat and chest pain. Saturday 6/10 I went to the ER. Where the Dr, Kirk E Benson immediately retested me to rule out strep (I didnt have to force him too) He told me if it was just a virus it would last only at most 10days. He put me on an albuterol inhaler and Zpack. I started immediately and already feel so much better. My cough is actually productive and my voice is returning. Very disappointed with how I was cared for by Cook, or lack of care! Benson seemed sincerely concerned. Thank you!!Garth Winslow⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedMy family and I were visiting OOB on vacation when my daughter had a severe anxiety attack. Not being from here we came here for assistance. It was by far the best Emergency Room visit I have ever experienced, my daughter agreed as well. They made us feel very comfortable and offered me coffee and food while we waited.Odins Armory⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedWas in the Sanford location 10/18/19. Horrible. Took 2 hours writhing in pain to be seen and the. Just to be sent home with “acid reflux”. Got so bad today i drove 30 min to the Biddeford location. What a difference. Was triaged in inside in 8 minutes. Doctor was in the room within 10. Pain meds administered twice. Did all kinds of tests. They found out my digestive system had shut down and were able to come up with a treatment plan. The nurses, ekg guys and doctors were phenomenal. I’ll go back to this hospital over any other any day of the week.Amy Bergeron⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedThought I broke my ankle, was in the hallway on a stretcher, when I asked for a room they said they needed them for patients who had to be on the heart monitors. I was annoyed but OK, I thought, we will see. Holy god… people you need to understand how to interact with your nurses!! They don’t get paid enough for you to yell at them!! Sorry we are in the hallway but you don’t need to scream because youve been there for hours and your foot hurts!! Almost deducted a star because the other patients were insane.Bethanie KislerPLEASE go somewhere else.. I went to SHMC ER last week for pain and swelling in my lady bits. I was afraid if the swelling continued, I would not be able to urinate. The nurse and Dr. Elizabeth Beil were perplexed by my symptoms and asked if I had made any changes to my personal care routine. I had not. Then it crossed my mind… I had tried on bathing suits at Target a few days prior. Boy, that was a mistake to mention because they both hung on to that likes flies on sh*t. I was told I could have contracted genital herpes from trying on the bathing suits.. After sending me into a giant panic attack and then leaving me in the room alone with my friend who brought me, we googled if that could even happen. Not very likely.. Dr. Beil and the nurse came back in awhile later and did a physical exam. Dr. Beil said MULTIPLE times, “I am not sure what it is” and that it DIDN’T look characteristic of genital herpes other than one small area. She swabbed it and said we would have results in 1-2 days. In her next breath, she prescribed me Valtrex which is for herpes and told me she was referring me to an OBGYN to take a better look. She did not do an internal exam because she didn’t want to “spread” it up further.. On to my second panic attack of the night, the nurse comes in with my medication and discharge paperwork. As she explained the referral to OBGYN, I said that I was going to call Planned Parenthood in the morning to get a second opinion. She got snappy with me and rudely stated they were “not OBGYN doctors”. They may not be, but they do look at female genitalia all day long so I figured it couldn’t hurt. When I got home I noticed that my discharge paperwork said ‘DIAGNOSIS: Genital Herpes’. So did Dr. Beil know what it was or not?? The next morning I called PPNE and was able to get right in within a few hours of placing the call. The NP that saw me was appalled at the lack of knowledge of the ER staff and the unnecessary stress they caused me. She said it would be a 1 in a million chance to get herpes from trying on bathing suits. She also said that an internal exam is necessary to properly diagnose what’s going on and that herpes does not “spread” the way the ER stated. Long story short, I was correctly diagnosed with a yeast infection and heat rash….. It’s pretty scary the amount of inaccurate information I was given, and the fact that a FEMALE ER doctor does not know the difference between yeast and herpes. Now I have that diagnosis permanently in my medical records. I would give 0 stars if possible.Noun VerbSeriously. I went in stone cold sober complaining of stomach pain, dehydration, vomiting, motor control problems… I cried out in pain when the Dr touched my stomach… They ran a CT on my head and sent me home with an Alcohol Abuse diagnosis. i hadnt had a drink in 6 days and 10 days before that. Nothing in my labs showed alcohol use and I didnt have signs of alcohol withdrawal. They acted like it was my fault the Dr didnt check my stomach and then jist pushed me out the door. Updated: i just got off the phone with them and the nothing about why I went in is in my file correctly and the nurse that did my intake is equally confused because what I went in for and whats noted do not match. This hospital totally did not listen, misdiagnosed me, put a note on my record that could greatly endanger my future care as I have no alcohol use problems byt thats what I was diagnosed with and I confirmed that my labs and exam show no signs or symptoms of alcohol use. I was told I meed to wait 8 hours for tue Dr to come back on shif so I can get the medications I need for my stomach or to go back in… Seriosuly!karissa leblancI came here because my legs and stomach are swollen. The doctor said since he doesn’t see an emergency hes not treating it like and emergency. Pretty much told me to lower my salt intake. Mind you I gained 13 pounds in one week. No explanation. To top it off, when we went to leave, the bed I was laying In had a goss pad full of blood on it and old blood all over the handles. I will never go there again. The staff were nice, except for the one who wouldn’t allow a service dog in with his owner…that’s illegal! This place is a joke and there staff nees more traiing!Ian LegrowThis hospital has always been the worst I have ever been to. Every time I come here with my wife they treat her like she is faking. We have buzzed our nurse 4 times now and still no one. My wife is screaming crying in pain and no one cares. We are never coming back herejennifer carderIf I could give a zero I would. My boyfriend was there the other night with a badly broken ankle. We spent 6 hours there and he wasn’t given anything for the pain until 5.5 hour of being there, after having asked multiple times. They had to take 3 X-rays and attempt to realign his broken bones 2 times. When asked if he was having surgery, which we knew he needed, the ER Doctor stated she was going to try and realign it before calling him in. She stated it seemed like an unstable break, but was going to splint it the best she could and give an ortho referral. The ortho specialist called us and said he should have without a doubt gotten surgery the night we went to the ER. The specialist said the break is so bad he fears it may be doing damage to nerves and the surrounding area. The Doctor in the ER was very rude and unprofessional, I will never let him return to this ER. How ridiculous!MereWaited 4.5 hours in the emergency room. When they finally took me in, had me sit on a stretcher in the hall with no privacy whatsoever. Treated drug addicts better. This place is a joke. If you’re looking for good care take the time and drive to NH. This place is not it.Serena MacMasterI would leave a zero if I could. My husband’s doctors have been amazing but the nurses, techs and secretaries have been disgusting Classless and rude.Robert JordanThis place in a circus full of clowns and donkeys I would rather eat a pile of dog poo then have to ever return to this God forsaken place.
