Katelyn BunkeHorrible experience waited 4+ hours to be seen for a possible miscarriage/dehydration. On top of waiting that long the doctor was absolutely rude. She rolled her eyes at me on several occasions and treated me like I was stupid. I’ve been in the medical field for 7 years I know a little bit about things. I knew I was dehydrated and she refused to give me fluids acted as if I had asked for narcotics. I was given a shot for nausea even though I wasn’t nauseated. Turns out what thay gave me shouldn’t be taken if you’re pregnant. Not to mention the nurse who administered the shot gave it in the wrong spot ( too high up the arm, basically my shoulder) which caused a huge knot. I also was unable to move my arm without serious pain for about a day and a half and had to sleep with an ice pack. I do not remember the doctor’s name just that her last name started with a W and she looked very young maybe 30 if that. I will say when I finally did get an ultrasound the ultrasound tech was extremely kind. She made me feel so comfortable and really showed that she cared. When the doctor came in to talk to me about my ultrasound she said that everything was fine. I did ask her what the heartbeat was and she responded by saying “I can’t remember I didn’t pay any attention to that” absolutely pathetic! I can kind of understand a long wait on a busy day however the way I was treated was absolutely unacceptable. I would also like to add that the triage staff were very kind as well. It was the nurse and doctor I dealt with once I got a room that made this trip to the ER terrible.Vicki Higginbothem⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI had excellent care. I went through emergency no waiting time and was admitted within 8 hours to a room. Excellent care on the floor alsoHousekeeping kept my room clean, dietary brought my food immediately and to order. Nurses responded promptly and very professional but also caring. The doctors were top notched. They listened to my concerns and needs. . Thank you for all your care!Robert Exnicious⭐️⭐️If you don’t have a personality or a compassion for others, you should NOT be working in a hospital. Especially in the role of a nurse. I’ve been sitting here with a sick family member for a few days now and he has had several nurses who a.) don’t show any interest in putting up with him (I’ll admit, he can be a handful, but in a hospital, that’s not an excuse), or b.) didn’t seem to know anything about his condition and the medications that he is on. There must be a disconnect in the communication between the nurses when they change shifts. Thankfully there have been a few excellent nurses that I’ve met while I was here visiting him. There were occasions when 2 hours would pass before a nurse would show up or even pop their head in the door to make sure everything was okay. Normally, people complain that they can’t get the nurses to go away, but here, some of them never come by. Another issue has been the physical therapists. If physical therapy is supposed to be just getting out of bed and getting in the chair that’s a foot and a half away, then I must have the wrong idea of what it’s supposed to be. If you have pneumonia and you’re trying to cough phlegm out of your lungs, you shouldn’t be laying flat on your back all day. Nobody has done anything to encourage him to be more upright and nobody has been actively trying to help him regain strength in his lower body. I hope the hospital improves on these things, but I will say that I was happy with the cleanliness of the facility.jiderbug 96My mother has been here 4 hours bleeding and in pain. This is ridiculous. Improve your emergency room.Katrina StonebreakerAn emergency room wait should not be 8+ hrs. They either need more employees or they need to actually do their jobs. Thank God iit wasn’t a life or death situation .Conni StricklandThis is the worst experience I’ve ever had , the longest wait, no explanation, 2 days in a row !Crystel HarterThe wait time is beyond ridiculous. 4 hours of waiting just to tell me to go home and take ibuprofenDallas SmithAll I have to say is the staff of the hospital is a joke
