Before you go to St. Joseph’s Hospital, you may want to know what the people who have already gone to this Savannah emergency room think.
Jim Myrick⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedHad the miss fortune to have to attend this place a couple times. Each time was a good experience and as long as it is not a major trauma I would choose to go here vs anywhere else in town. Major trauma I would go to Memorial otherwise this is a great place with good people who know how to take care of you. The level of care is good and the place is convenient to get in and out of for parking and walking.KDBYou’d get better care from a 3rd world country. MD on duty. (Dr. Waldren) Her Professional opinion “take some ibuprofen and soldier up”. Gave me a one day pass for work. 3 weeks later still can’t walk. MRI shows major tear of meniscus. Lots of pain. Thanks for sucking.Karen Schoof⭐️⭐️Was referred to St Joseph Emergency from an urgent care facility due to a broken shoulder bone. Besides what seemed like a ridiculously long visit of about 4 hours, the worst is that there’s no communication. The results from the doctor was what was expected. Surprised that they never offered my 90 year old mom wheelchair service, nor never helped her on or off the bed. Maybe Savannah has poor health services in general.Chip BlockerAbsolutely the worst Emergency Room ever. After arriving by Ambulance, then wheeled to the ER lobby and sitting 6 hours we were told there were still 6 people ahead decided to leave and go to another local hospital. Went to Candler ER by car and immediately when they saw the seriousness of the injury and infection was wheeled directly to a ER Treatment Room, and admitted immediately to the hospital and treated by 4 different Drs. I have been in Emergency Rooms all over Ga, Fla and South Carolina and St Joseph’s is by far the worst but Candler is the best. The St Joseph’s staff upfront were very unfriendly and completely unhelpful. If you need help within the first 6 or 8 hours of arriving do not go to St Joseph’s. Do yourself a favor and go directly to Candler.Robin HendersonThe worst emergency room I have ever visited. The wait was extremely to long for it to be a “emergency room” if it is a real emergency I recommend another hospital than this one. The only reason they could give for the wait was that they had to wait for a room to get cleaned. I waited two hours for a room and there was only one person waiting to be seen when I got to the emergency department.Steph Diablo⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedFriendly staff. The new renovations to the emergency room are clean and modern. The wait can take a little while but the staff seems compassionate.Rosemary McMurrayWhat I thought was a great quick visit turned into me ending up impatient at memorial 2 days later. I had originally gone to st Joseph’s to see what they could do about the thing on my face and see why it was swelling. I can’t remember the doctor but she didn’t have gloves on, barely looked at and just prescribed me 2 antibiotics which made the swelling in my face worsen. So I wouldn’t recommend st Joseph’s if you’re worried about your health and don’t want things to worsen. I visited Sunday July 14th.Florence Wright⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Long wait, very busy ER but pleased with the overall visit.Joseph LuksichGood experience yesterday with Dr Mazor and staff who were professional but when retiring after spending all day in ED with serious health condition called following day to direct line to his ED who said I needed to come back and be seen again. Upon returning I discussed with ED lobby who was rude and I assume nurse to take me back and one on phone said with an attitude “now I have to take someone to room 4 then the nurse that took me back was rude in her comments taking me back to the less acute general rooms had a rude attitude. Nurse that was from less acute rooms came in threw blanket and rob at my feet and said nothing. She left room came back and rudely said”I need a urine sample now can you go. I replied no and said I’ll need fluids like yesterday to go due to dehydration and current medical issue. Her reply was well I need it now and I’m not waiting all day quote. I then said I’m filing a complaint and leaving and her response was go right ahead with an attitude. Nice level of care and treatment for serious heath condition right Before warned Do Not Go here is your Heath or loved ones health matters because you are not going to receive courteous or professional care and have to be subject to listening to staffs sex life partying etc ahead of your care. Hospital is disgustingAustin⭐️⭐️HIPAA nightmare. Brought my wife in and 30 minutes later was herded into a hallway with 4 other patients and she was examined and questioned about her health issues, medications and medical history in full view and hearing of the 4 other individuals/patients in the hallway. This is a clear violation of patient privacy rights. All 4 of the other patients were treated in the same manner and I clearly overheard patient sensitive information that should not be discussed in a group setting without the expressed consent of the patient involved.Jasmin Rodriguez-Williams⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️This is the best hospital that I have ever been to living here in ga. They taking care of my baby son oh so well I will definitely recommend this hospital to anyone…Stacie AnnI’m currently here now, not like I want to be. But the woman working the emergency desk “Melissa” is rude beyond belief. As well as the homosexual “nurse” that works in the E.R, Darryl. They were both completely rude and unprofessional. And kept whispering about the patients… Next time, I’d rather die than have to deal with the two of them again. It’s sad that this is a place where people come for reassurance and to be HELPED. Yet there’s people like them working here that we’re forced to deal with.Mercedes Apgar⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedSo sweet and make you feel very comfortable.michael grahamRude sarcastic nurse. I walked out.Jofinsky⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedModern, clean, quick, professional and friendly. Could not be better.
