Kayleigh Burgess Took my blood at 6 pm, 10pm rolls around still don’t get called back and hear nothing about my blood work. At 11 we go back on our own to see what’s up because it’s a very quiet night in the waiting room. Nurse couldn’t take any of my vitals and was coughing in my face the whole time and got sent back to the waiting room. Left around midnight with no results, no tests done, severe abdominal pain and no answers. Everyone has been sitting in that waiting room as long as me and no one has been called back. Waste of time and moneyAnthony Thompson Just left there after waiting 7 hours. Having heart palpitations for 2 weeks straight 24/7. They did blood work and I never got to see the results. It’s impossible to get to see an actual doctor here. I would recommend going to Oswego or something. Wish I could give them 0 stars because all they did was take my money.Comm’s Bizarre Adventure Quiet night in the ER, fast check in, fast xrays….no doctor for hours, finally doctor comes in waiting for on more result leaves. Another hour later nurse informs doctor, results are back still no doctor. Still here one hour later no doctor. I can understand if they were busy but they are not. It has been over 5 hours for a broken rib. I suggest go somewhere else unless you have a good novel to bring with and you want to sit and be neglected all night.sloe poke Specialist says to get admitted through ED after first visit results are published. Get there at 9:30 pm. Wait till 5 am to get put in a room only to have the Dr say my symptom resemble the flu. And sends me out the door with 2 co pays that would have gotten me a room at the Hilton for a week.never going back to this money making scam.chris savage This place is a joke!!!!!! I was working in Syracuse and had a pretty seriouse injury wich left me with a hole in my ankle. An open wound I arrived at 415 pm was never seen until 8 30 pm and they did nothing .. i still have an open wound have to go get a second opinion. on top of that the ankle splint they gave me is for a left foot and my injury is on the right .. i sat in waiting room bleeding for over 4 hours I had to ask for gauze and taped it up myself I will. NEver go backAlan Daley⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI went there for an emergency heart cath and the staff and Drs were absolutely wonderful. Made my stressful experience very pleasant. Dr. El-Khally is highly professional and does a wonderful job . Thank You ALL so much for your GREAT CARE.Salman A⭐️⭐️I’m finally writing a review of this place. When I arrived in Syracuse 4 years ago, I had no clue which health care centers to visit. Due to my former insurance plan, I saw a St. Joe’s doctor, on Gifford Street. Awful PA he did not take my blood pressure, a nurse did 15 minutes before I saw him, he said that my pressure was high, again, he did not measure it when he had the chance. I thought the care would improve at the medical center on Prospect/Union, but it didn’t. When taking blood, for a test, I had to get stabbed 3 times, the phlebotomist screwed up twice. Hospital staff kept telling me that I am not low on medication, as if they could see the bottles, in my kitchen. It also took weeks to get any prescription filled; I had to visit them because they refused to keep in touch with me; fortunately, my care was switched to a different health care center.Kylene Worst place to be seen at!!!! Was told by NP Megan E. Roger’s , I wasn’t sick enough that’s why I’m not in a regular room. Yet I’m pregnant having severe back and lower abdominal pain and they had me in fast track sitting in a chair for 3 hours. And said I can lay on the table where they do pap smears!!Nick Berlo This place only got 1 star because 0 isn’t an option. We got to the ER at 1200AM, it is currently 345AM and we have yet to be seen by a doctor. Hands down, without a doubt, the worst ER I’ve EVER been to. Only come here if you have no other option.Azlan Khan I wished if had zero stars. They are money machines. I visit there with pain and came out with the same pain after 7 hours. They put me on the chair with no comfort for 7 hrs. No recommendation to anyone.lisa schmidt⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedHad my first baby here last month. Great staff, especially nursing. Very friendly and attentive to all my needs. The food was pretty good for hospital food too. My only complaint would be that my shoes were lost in the transfer from the delivery room to recovery. Thankfully I had brought flip flops to use for taking a shower although they are not something you want to wear going home in January weather.Jeylin202⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedThe nurse staff was wonderful from valet parking, to admissions. My nurses in the pre-op and recovering were on top of everything and my floor nurses (Joanne, Kristina, Susanna) were caring and attentive along with the nurse attendants. Dr.Webb is a very good surgeon and the food was wonderful, on call most of the day, special thanks to Finika- room service was delicious and prompt. No one wants to have surgery, but I have had a great experience despite the situation. Thank you St. Joe’s of Syracuse, NY.Tiffany Nelson They missed my broken foot on my x-ray! I got a second opinion with a specialist and they re-read their x-rays! Now getting treatment 2 months later with another place, because they were useless. On top of that, the PA was not friendly at all during my visit and could seem to care less of how much pain I was in or if I get better.Anne Messenger Stayed 5 hours+ in waiting room, with staff coming out screaming patients’ names. Literally screaming them.Danae Wyatt I had a fractured arch bone and I also sprained the muscles around it. I went in because I was in so much Pain. I had to wait 4 hours to be seen . Then when I get back there the doctor was so rude to me it was unbelievable. He took my foot and shook it round like a rag doll. Then when I yell in pain he says oh yeah it really does hurt. I was so upset I just left 250 dollars for nothing I will never be backLlani Smarzo⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI received the best of care from the best of people.I am deeply grateful. Thank you.Amy Jesgarzewski I gave St. Joseph’s Hospital one star because they don’t offer negative star reviews. I’d say the one star goes to the staff who actually performed my ct scan and ultrasound. They were the most helpful and professional. My ER Doctor, Dr. Smith, was an unamused woman who later told me “I don’t know what’s wrong. It’s a mystery. You’ll just have to give it more time.” I have been sick for a month now. I’ve been seeing Doctors for it but each one tells me to go to a different one. My obgyn actually told me to go to the ER so they could run tests immediately. The ER doctor, Dr. Smith, told me I should see a GI doctor. Here I am, in antagonizing pain at the ER and she’s telling me to go see a specialist. No, I’m in need RIGHT NOW of help. She told me they only have GI doctors on call. Okay? CALL THEM! She told me it’d be a waste of time for her to call them because I wouldn’t get in for any test for several months. Which is total BS. Thats why they are on call. To come in and see patients and run tests. She sent me home and told me to take pepcid. I have been nauseous for 4 weeks. So nauseous I can’t eat. I have lower back pain that literally cripples me. I have vomited in my sleep. I changed my diet two weeks ago to super bland food in fear it was my gallbladder. A new symptom that encouraged me to go to the ER after my obgyn saying so was pain in the right side of my chest. Something is very wrong. If it kills me I hope my family sues the mess out of them. The nurse, came in with the sniffles and a scratchy throat. She had on a mask and gloves. Could NOT get an IV catheter in me because she clearly was not ready to be putting them in on patients in the ER. I had to have that in to get the meds Dr. Smith had ordered. Finally she literally pulled the needle out, leaving the plastic catheter part in my hand and saying “I give up” after hearing a man in the hall say that someone is going to need to put my catheter in. I’m assuming they were keeping track of how long she had been in with me. She also just left used needles laying on the table next to me. By the end of my visit, this nurse no longer had gloves or her mask on. I spent $200 alone on just the copay to get this kind of help. I’m furious and still very sick. I was told I had so much gas that my pancreas couldn’t be checked by the ultrasound. Dr. Smith did not ONCE address this until I brought it up. She is literally the worst doctor I have ever seen and I will be calling the hospital regarding my bill because even though she gets her paycheck no matter what kind of help she offers, not a dime of my money will be spent on her fee. I also plan on filing a formal complaint. I also heard staff right outside my room complaining of another patient in great detail. HIPPA?Brandon Bonafide I’d rather drive 3 hours to nyc after being shot then go hereDevon Canery⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Good staff
