Jim Buchholz⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI don’t know. The reviews here are pretty polarizing but I took my 2 year old here last night for stomach pain and every single staff member was amazing and they got us in extremely quickly. I’m sure the bill will be brutal but I don’t care. This place was awesome.Ruth Grogan⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedGreat Hospital great staff great doctors fast and friendly and compassionate service ! Can’t ask for more Sasha Royal⭐️⭐️They are fast but not very through. They misdiagnosed my husband and he ended up losing 3 feet of his intestines. The staff is melancholy, often animated or not very friendly.Bran-Bran W.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedThis ER has THE BEST customer service ever! Everyone, from the security guards, to registration, nurses, and doctors, has always treated us with respect and kindness. Communication with what they are doing, what actions we need to take, listening to our concerns is top notch. My family has never had a bad experience with anyone here. Thank you so much!Karen Truett⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedA hospital facility is only as good as its nursing staff; I will never not come to the Darwin ER for this reason. Over the years they’ve proven that they care on a multitude of levels and I have yet to find any other facility with the same attention and charm.Maria B⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedThis was my first time visiting this emergency room and I was impressed of how well I was treated from the moment I walked in. Dr Silvie Rimmer and nurses Stephanie and Kimberley were amazing putting me at ease and explain everything that was done to me, very professional, attentive staff!!! Thank you for taking care of me!!Ronald Smith⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER Recommended(Betsy is the best RN) Please read the whole review. My name is Ronald Smith I’m not your average person that goes to Dr or Hospitals. But at this point in my life being older I needed to go. The experience was pleasant and welcoming not like any hospital! Remember how many different personalities they see on an everyday basis or how busy they get. They have made every mean possible to make me feel comfortable!!!! The one that made me believe I made the right choice walking into a hospital which I never do. This woman was professional but yet still a person with concern and pleasant well being of a complete stranger! As myself not only has she convinced some hospital staff are amazing and truly have their all in what they do for the community!!!! Loved my encounter with an amazing woman and RN!!!!Pauline Butler⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI visited this ER on New Years Eve. I am a nurse myself, so I always look at my experience as a patient but also through professional eyes. I had been experiencing flu symptoms for 9 days and my cough had got a lot worse and I was having difficulty breathing properly. I found this ER was very clean and organized. Every person I met with introduced themselves, and told me what their job was, and what they were going to do. I met with Nurse Rio, who was very efficient, and put me at ease. The doctor saw me quickly, and I had a chest X-ray. The x Ray technician was very friendly and efficient. I had a breathing treatment, and after a while left with my follow up instructions and prescriptions. Everything was well explained to me. The experience was really positive, and very efficient and professional from a nurses point of view. This is not my nearest ER, but I will certainly use it again if I ever need to. Great job!Prof. Brenda L. López⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedHEALTH TENDER LOVING CARE… Thanks to Dr. Steele, the nurses Rio and Walter, the register, Aldrin, the CT technician, John and the professional that took my lab sample (sorry I don’t know your name). Was my first visit to this emergency room and I’m impressed for how well cleaning are the facilities and the great health equipment that have. All treat me with kindness. You are a great team. Rio and John, thanks also for speak in perfect Spanish, a great advantage!. God bless all and continue bringing your excellent patient service, with your touch of solidarity and tender. Always at your order!. Merry Christmas, Brenda L. LópezAshton PoitierDo not go here if you don’t want to end up with a big bill even when you have a insurance ,was taken there for a big headache and vomit and just stay for 2 hour and send me a big bill even when I have a health insurance ,better going to one of those emergency care ,is cheaper than going there . Erica VitoloDeserves ZERO stars!! I took my 6 month old daughter in who was inconsolable. Although the nurse, Ashley, was gentle and kind, the attending female doctor was horrendous. In an effort to calm my child so that her ears could be examined, I started nursing her. The doctor, clearly bothered by this, nastily said she’d come back when I was done nursing and refused to check my child until I stopped. I told the miserable woman I was trying to soothe her so that she could more easily examine her ears and listen to her heart/lungs. I have done this with my 2 older children at many pediatric office visits under similar circumstances and NEVER had the squeamish reaction that I did from this doctor. If I wasn’t desperate to get my daughter out of pain, I would have left immediately. I would never go to this place again. The doctor has terrible bedside manner. She made me feel stupid for nursing my child. She does NOT belong in the medical field. I will make sure to spread my story about your facility and this doctor. Get rid of her! Read these reviews and take all of these people seriously. There are better doctor’s for the job.itskarebearI’m giving this place a 1 star because when I went in two times I was treated very wonderfully by the doctors and nurses on staff. However my 3rd time I went for a issue I have been having the passed few months came back and it was New Years eve, I couldn’t even make a doctor’s appointment even if I wanted to. I go in and I explained to the Nurse what has been going on and at the time of my visit I was the only patient! She gets upset at me asking if I was dying, in pain, can’t breath, massive blood lost and so on. She made me feel so terrible that I looked over to my relative and asked quietly if we should leave because I don’t feel welcome and she doesn’t want to treat me. The doctor that treated me was kind and all it took in and out of the place about 20 minutes, and again I was the only patient at the time. I feel that nurses these days hate their jobs and their patients. I feel that they need to take mental health and behavioral tests. You don’t know if I or anyone has an underlying disease causing this and that to occur. l”ll change my review if she learns to be kind or find a new career. And I will be making a similar review when I get the letter in the mail asking how my experience was.Christina Pierre⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedCame in around 4am with a toddler having difficulty breathing. Nurse Betsie and Dr. Horowitz were phenomenal. Anyone with a little one understands that going to an dr can be scary. They made my little one feel safe and helped keep me calm. Such an awesome night staff Adleheid Gotz⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedDon’t go to the big hospital. This place is phenomenal! Jeeze….I wanna get sick more often. And no i dont work for the hospital. I will enclose a photo for proof. Also Betsie will try to make you feel at home. So watch out if you don’t like being comforted been coming here since they opened..lived on Darwin since before they opened. This is my 3rd visit. …maybe 4th Gurla Rodne⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedThe friendliest, most accommodating staff EVER! the nurses and doctors really take the time to help treat your true symptoms. There’s never a wait time and the entire ER staff get it done! Thank god for this gem, our second home.Monica CannonI just came in due to severe swelling in my face and hands after having major oral surgery 2 days ago. The doctor was the most unprofessional and rude person I’ve ever come in contact with there. She constantly rolled her eyes at me and said quite a few times in an arrogant and agitated manner that I should have called my oral surgeon. She was so rude and made me feel 2 inches tall. She made me feel like I was a nuisance and like I was wasting her time. I tried explaining to her that with waking up at 4:30 am, and as bad as the swelling was, I felt like it was an emergency especially since I am not on antibiotics after having those 3 teeth removed. And when I told her, with tears streaming down my face, that she was being so rude and unprofessional, she continued to roll her eyes. Absolutely horrible experience and horrific bedside manor. She should not be in the medical field with such a crappy attitude towards someone who is clearly in pain. Absolute garbage treatment. They have a low score for a reason. Needless to say, I left in tears. I’ve never been treated so badly in my life.Heather DeGruySo I decided to do a little investigating in regards to the sudden influx of “positive” comments made on here. After taking down their names and searching them out on social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, TikTok etc.) I have discovered that over half of the people that made “positive” comments on here are either employed by St. Lucie Medical Center or are related to someone that is employed by St. Lucie Medical center. Do your own research- you’ll see! Shame on St. Lucie Medical Center for this!!!!!Alexandria Marie⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedBest ER around! Fast, clean, and the staff is extremely nice in a genuine way. If you get a Rio as your nurse, you’re in even more luck!Yvonne MorelliWorst experience. Went in with foot swollen and black n blue from toes to ankle. Dr said foot was broken and showed me a picture then came back after radiologist read xray and said it was bruised. Put me in a shoe. Got my records to take to orthopedic and radiologist put left foot in report when it was my right foot. Went to orthopedic 3 fractures in a boot 8 weeks.googleKittycat AjI was in there Sunday Morning 12/16/18 because my arm, shoulder and neck were hurting and locked up, could no put my arm up or behind my back. I had cortisone shots in my shoulder and in the lower portion of my neck 5 days earlier. The pain normally last for 2 days then eases but in this case it kept getting worse and worse. I had been treating at home with ibuprofen, steroids and muscle relaxers (the muscle relaxers can only be taken at night because they knock me out) But i was not seeing a result and started to get scared that it may be infected or that a nerve was hit. When the nurse practitioner came in, I explained the background and that I was going to get an MRI on Monday but I wanted to make sure there was no infection because I had a low grade fever over the last couple of nights. The nurse then told me I was probably going through withdrawals (I have pain medication prescribed to me by my orthopedic surgeon that i take as needed – problem was the pain medication was not taking the pain completely away and it was not helping with the fact that my are was locked up), so no I was not going through withdrawals I had a fever that was breaking throughout the night. She said she didn’t know what I wanted them to do about it (her tone was elevated and very aggressive) not once did I ask her to give me pain medication but without even looking at my shoulder or having the doctor see me she had labeled me a junkie. She told me that they are there for emergencies and they are not able to attend to pain. Me not knowing what to do, I started to cry as I was going to gather my stuff and leave. I could not tolerate the pain and i was frustration that this woman in five minutes made me feel like something you scrape off the bottom of your shoe. I am a successful woman married to a PSL cop who is deployed to Saudi Arabia. I was not looking for drugs I was looking to find out what was wrong so maybe someone could fix me and I could finish my Christmas shopping. They gave me a shot to relax my muscles (everything is still locked up and hurts but it is a little better) I am still waking up soaked from fever breaking. I only saw the doctor once he never came back to discuss my CT scan he sent her in she told me there is a bone growth and something going on with my neck and its going to bother me until I get it fixed. At this point I was over her attitude and just wanted to leave so yessed her to death then left…I was in pain prior to the shots but nothing like this, this is unbearable and constant. The Nurse then dismissed me without any concern to the pain or discomfort I was in. She just keeps telling me to keep doing what I am already doing and tried to give me advise on how to finish my Christmas shopping. It was a joke, I understand the Opiods crisis but not everyone who comes in for pain should be treated this way, you might want to at least examine the patient before assuming they are part of the crisis. I would not recommend anyone to go here…Your better off going to the hospital. 12/31/18 – just a quick update on my situation. I have been in the hospital since 12/27/18. I had a very bad staff infection that spread thru the muscles in my arm. If the staff at this ER would have done blood work or imaging with die they would have seen this before it got so bad. I was also told by the doctors at the hospital that you can’t really determine if there is an infection by a CT scan alone so I am curious how it was determined there was no infection? Infection was my main concern.Dan WollardLet me start by saying the medical staff was help and friendly. However the billing department has been a complete nightmare. We will never go back because of the billing department.Michael C⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI had a wonderful experience at the ER. Calm, compassionate and thorough care. That Dr. Houri is as cool as a cucumber.royalcuteness⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI went in on Christmas Eve because my throat was closing up and I had chest pains. They did xrays, bloodwork, ekg, and gave me a nebulizer followed by saline. My bp was high at 23 years old. Very fortunate to have Dr. Sylvie review my xrays and catch early pneumonia. I was diagnosed with bronchitis and pneumonia and prescribed meds and left with the gift of being able to breathe again. So fortunate to get serviced by this location!Nicole PooleHad to bring my daughter to the ER for a injury and the service suck. Very slow and unattentive. Will NEVER RETURN.Autumns AshesI almost never write a bad review…if I do not like a place I just move on and never go back. But, this place deserves some words ! I have nothing whatsoever positive to say. The staff who took care of me was absolutely rude and horrible!!!! Who is running this place?! I need to spread awareness so others know to please stay away. I wasn’t treated with any respect . No one was listening properly to my symptoms and they made me feel terrible. I was in tears when I left . They did not draw any kind of blood work but gave me a weird diagnosis that made no sense and didn’t match my symptoms . Please go elsewhere. This place needs to be shut down. Shame on you all….you work in a medical field with people who are uncomfortable and not feeling well and this is how you treat them?! Wow way to go!!! You deserve NO stars!!! I will never ever be back….and I hope I’ve saved a few others from making the mistake I did by using this place …..off to find a real doctor now. Absolutely disgraceful pitiful place.Office Support ServicesJust to follow up on all the positivity being posted by staff and/or their friends and family members. I could walk into Walmart with an injury or illness and get better care. I went twice, more than a year apart, and both times MY REPORTED SYMPTOMS were completely dismissed and instead of any exploratory imaging or labs, I was treated with complete disregard. It wasn’t because I presented as drug seeking, which I expected at my visit following a severe motor vehicle accident, because they offered to write me for any and every opiate narcotic known to man. It was laziness, ignorance, and complete lack of work ethic and professionalism. I could’ve hand selected inmates from Rock Road and come up with a team that actually provided an accurate diagnosis and treatment plan. INSTEAD, I waited to hire an attorney, seek treatment under a letter of protection, and ultimately found PART OF MY C4-C5 CERVICAL DISK WAS BROKEN OFF AND LYING IN MY SPINAL CAVITY. The second time I was desperate enough to be enticed by them being the only St Lucie County ER with an empty parking lot, I was ultimately left alone in a room for an hour and a half, two different RN’s came in to discuss my reason for being there, then the “medical doctor” comes in with a print out of hand washing techniques, preventing the spread of germs, and treating cold symptoms. No blood drawn, no palpitating my lymph nodes, not even a light down my throat or culture. Within approximately 18 hours, sure that I was going to die, I drive to Lawnwood and am diagnosed with SWINE FLU! Needless to say, within the next 24 hours, my 8 year old had a fever of 106. Both of my other children had it by the next evening. No one employed at that facility should hold a title, certificate, or degree allowing them to diagnose or treat another human being.Jonathan Gonzalez⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedGreat place, I had come here after the horrendous wait times and lack of professionalism I experienced at Tradition Medical Martin Memorial medical centers ER. The difference is truly night and day. They saw my 7 month old son quickly and a team of very helpful and caring staff made sure my son received the treatment he needed. My mistake was waiting in the other ER in tradition for 1.5 hours before coming here. I come here exclusively now for all my ER needs.marcy proano⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI arrived in the middle of the night and was immediately ushered back for assistance. The staff and doctor were kind, thorough, and were able to help me promptly and completely. I live equally close to Tradition but am so glad that I chose to go to this location. The care was exceptional!Attilio C⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI have taken both my sons and my mother over a 1 year period and always in the middle of the night! I am grateful to live less than 5 minutes from this location. Never had a problem with the staff. Thanks.Sandy Campiglia⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI just recently moved to Port St Lucie. I have been ill on & off for 2 months and went to multiple Dr’s in 3 Urgent Care Facilities and the ER down south. Dr. Houri & Betsy, not only are amazing, they were determined to figure out what was wrong. They didn’t give up until they figured it out and I am beyond grateful for the them and the entire staff!!!Shawna Downs⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedWe brought our 5 year old in last night after a collision between her chin and the driveway. They were AMAZING. From the second we walked in until we left. They took us straight to triage, weighed her quickly and got her in a room. The nurses, intake specialist, doctor, and even housekeeping were all amazing. They got her set up and numbed her chin within 10 minutes of being there. Dr. Hill was awesome. Our nurse was amazing. And Kim, floating from respiratory sent us off with a popsicle. This was BY FAR the best experience we have ever had at either a doctor, urgent care, or hospital.Carmenrosa Rodriguez⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedThe the staff there is so very friendly. Dr. Mckinney is just awesome. Wouldnt go to any other placeCrystal Perez⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedThe medical staff took great care of me. I was in and out in less then 20 minutes and they made a follow up call to make sure everything was good. I highly recommend them.CHRISTINE SHULL⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedMy husband and I were on vacation with our 19 month old who spiked a fever of 102.5! These sweet, gracious people saw us no questioned asked, didn’t even have to sit down in the waiting room and helped our daughter. They brought her back and offered ibuprofen on the spot. She had bronchitis and we got an antibiotic and the publix was right behind the er. I was in and out in an hour. Less time than at home in South Carolina. Super impressed! Very polite staff in time of need!Joseph GenitempoUnbelievably ridiculous! To start, it was warmer inside than it was outside…I thought hospitals were suppose to be kept cool for germ and sanitary reasons!? Then the only test done for the extreme leg pain and sensitivity to touch problem I was having, is the one I suggested…an Ultrasound to check for a clot! No other test, the doctor didn’t even touch my leg to examine it in any way. Am I paying to be my own Dr or what!? Then I had to ask for something for the pain when I told them my pain level was an 8 and waited so long for the Ultrasound that it got worse…Motrin is what I was given, that’s fine. But then I was discharged an told there weren’t any other tests that could be done to try and determine what could be causing my problem…”drink water” and “I guess it could be something with the muscle” is what the so-called Dr told me as I was discharged. Worst “ER” experience EVER!!! Can’t wait to see the bill I get for being my own Dr!Michael BaezVery unprofessional please go to a real hospital. If you do go. I hope they will treat you with the right care you need.YouMe Poueriet⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedThis place is quick, clean and staff is so friendly. I love it.Bob VilaExcept for doctor, hospital staff is rude. Had a side effect with a medication that was prescribed by the doctor and called hospital to see if they could call into the pharmacy a different medicine. The nurse the night i went in was rude. The nurse that answered the phone today said no and basically deal with the side effect. Now im laying here, very ill with a horrible side effect added on top. Never going there again.Dee PeltierTo me this ER gets NO STARS what so ever but as we know I wouldn’t be able to leave a comment. (05/18/2017) First and foremost I will be contacting the BBB Monday morning. My child’s father brought our 2 year old son in for an XRAY to have done for his foot(1st time patient) with a referral from our Pediatrics Office. Not only did they NOT PROVIDE PAPERWORK after discharge with a referral you’re considered an OUTPATIENT! Hours went by that day withOUT a call from my son’s Pediatrics Office and it worried me. So I called this ER and the woman who answered said “they had no record of seeing my child”! My speculation and gut feeling as a mother you could only imagine. As I knew he was taken there due to his father and myself giving him the referral. Well, I called the ER back and someone said “oh yes we did see a child as an OUTPATIENT today and the results of XRAY WERE SENT OVER TO HIS DOCTOR. Low and behold still NO ANSWERS”. Our child did not have any bandages, nothing on his foot but his sock and shoes (foots swollen). Friday 05/19/2017 @ 10 am. I called his pediatricians office, hmm still no fax of XRAY and then called this ER. Not only was I transferred 3 times, finally I spoke with an Adam who was the XRAY Tech that seen my son and told me that they didn’t FAX the XRAY and that I SHOULD COME THERE AND PICK UP HIS XRAY?????!!!! Still two days go by and NO ANSWERS!!!! TODAY, I called his pediatricians office and they had finally received the XRAY. To my initial feeling and worrisome. The Nurse at my drs office informed me I was to come in immediately and to have the dr tell me what it said and that I would need to follow up with an Orthopedic. I then knew it wasn’t good news. My son was at an ER where they could’ve treated him gave him meds (7.5 mls Ibprofen and bandaged him up) Also, could’ve given a referral to speed up process to see the Orthopedic. My child has a fracture. This would’ve been taken care of IMMEDIATELY AND FRIDAY MAY 19TH he could have been seen at the Orthopedic!!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS ER WHAT SO EVER. NOT FOR MT CHILD EVER AND NEVER FOR MY SELF LET ALONE MY FRIENDS. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND IF YOU FEEL IN YOUR GUT SOMETHING IS WRONG CALL 911 AND THE EMTS WILL BETTER ASSIST YOU!! Brand New ER to help people here in St Lucie County and your ER is a DISGRACE!!!Bunny Berman⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedWhat a nice, clean ER; attentive, no wait time, professional and warm caring staff!Jonathan T.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI was very worried with my loved one.
