St. Luke’s Meridian Reviews

Before you go to St. Luke’s Meridian, you may want to know what the people who have already gone to this Meridian emergency room think.

Derek Smith⭐️⭐️⭐️Checked in quickly enough. Receptionist indicated a long wait, but did not define. Had a sick kid, high temp and in pain. Brought him in a wheelchair. Waited for over an hour. I politely asked about backlog. Informed that one provider on duty. Ultimately, referred to Meridian ER. 103 temp and dehydrated. Diagnosed with pneumonia. Disappointed had to waste so much time waiting. I should have gone to ER in first place.Z⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedThis hospital was awesome! All the way from the lobby security and check-in at the ER door to the ER doctor and X-ray technicians. Everyone was SUPER friendly and treated me like family. They took time to explain everything to me regarding my injury and follow-up. The whole visit took just over an hour. I’m very happy with the entire process during my visit to the ER. I would definitely come here again if I needed to, and I would recommend friends and family, as well.Ethan Priscilla Seay⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedMy toddler dislocated his elbow and was in a lot of pain. ER doctor easily fixed the joint and my son was back to feeling himself within a minute. Very thankfulVanessa Barrell As a mom you would do anything to keep your child safe. St Luke’s meridian is not the place I’ll be bring my son ever again. They rude , unhelpful. The nurses were standing out side talking about weekends and what they were doing after shift while me and another patient were sitting waiting to get discharged. This is not a place I’ll bring my son ever again.Jason Zimmerman⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedSt Luke’s is awesome and always has been….please don’t take me to st alphonsus!!Jade Van Dyke I came to this ER a few days ago for extreme pain in my stomach, I’m 6 weeks pregnant. The nurse there was extremely unprofessional and needs her liscense taken IMMEDIATELY, this lady didn’t even take the time to look for a good vein to start my IV she literally just shoved a needle into my arm and started to dig around with it and would not listen to me when I was screaming at her to stop, then the doctor that saw me didn’t listen to anything when I was trying to tell him what was happening. They left me in the room for 5 hours sobbing and puking and sweating from the pain and couldn’t even tell me what was wrong, then sent me home. they treated me like I was just seeking out narcotics. Also heard the nurse that was assigned to me refusing to give another patient pain meds when the doctor ordered her to. WILL NOT EVER BE RETURNING TO THIS HOSPITAL AGAIN. I would rather drive 15 minutes out of my way to go to the one in Boise.Garrett Hanna⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedWhat a great ER to go to! The best times to come in are between 1-4 AM. This is especially relevant when medical imaging is required for your diagnoses (X-ray, CT, MRI, Ultrasound). During these times, there is not a line and you will likely get a room immediately. The staff genuinely cares about your well-being and does their best to alleviate your pain in a timely manner.Cc⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedWent in early morning the staff was very nice I got in a semi-private room (you get seen quicker then waiting for your own room) I was seen within 15 minutes of getting I to the room my doctor was great and helped me the best she could I was in and out within 45 minutes to an hour one of the best emergency room visits ive gone tooSpencer Showalter This hospital is horrible! I dont know these people get to keep their jobs and dehumanize people the way that they do. My daughter was seen here for Pneumonia after she was referred there. The hospital said that she looked fine and barely listened to her lungs. Her family doctor specifically ordered x-rays and they said that they did not feel it was necessary. I went back to my family doctor and She had to call the hospital and make them do x-rays of her lungs. Lo and behold she had freaking pnuemonia. This hospital is terrible!Jerry Welker The staff that checks you in are horrible, they look at you like you have the plague . . . I’m here now, I first took my daughter to an urgent care. Said she had blood and an infection in her urine. He said better go to the ER,. I will call ahead. Been waiting for over an hour, kidney stine pain is the worse. . . I just went and asked if I should take her to another hospital. I asked politely if they could give me an estimated time, the check in staff said “we have no idea, we are not a restaurant” I’m livid, 2 elderly people have come in and gone back . . . Every elderly that walks in knows the system, say your dizzy and the immediately take them back. My daughter is crying on the floor, . . . This place is rotten to the core.Audrey Showalter Do not go here. Horrible horrible horrible place. I would rather die than go here ever again. This place almost killed me and robbed me of 2 years of my life because of lack of attention to detail and careleness. Against my better judgement, but my pain won over my logic, an ambulance recently took me to st lukes meridian’s er. Worst experience AGAIN! the Doctors and nurses are condescending, arrogant, deaf to what a patient says, treat you as if you aren’t human, treat you as if you are just seeking drugs as if you’re a pill popper, and just cold and indifferent. They are dangerous! I’m interested to see what their death rate is for patients. It can’t be good. I’ve heard the actual hospital has some great Drs. But a stay in icu and multiple stays in their regular inpatient rooms have confirmed to me that only 1 out of 10 employees is worth a damn. I rarely speak bad of anyone or businesses. I’m not looking to ruin anyone’s life, but I’m telling You, DO NOT GO HERE EVEN IF YOUR LIFE DEPENDS ON IT. They will probably end up killing you anyway. Got to st lukes Boise or Nampa. They are so much better!! Anywhere but here. I’d rather a veterinarian cared for me than their doctors. Hey st lukes, keep ignoring our surveys and letters. We now have proof of one of your er doctors fabricating lies in the er report. That’s probably the only good thing to come from my last er visit. Keep letting your staff get away with patient mistreatment. Maybe a complaint to the state board isn’t enough, maybe it is, but just know we have contacted an attorney. We will do whatever the law allows to make sure no one else is ever mistreated as our family has been over the years at your hospital. This isn’t just a doctor and nurse problem. Their neglect and misdiagnosis and mistreatment spans 7 years from our experience. This is a hospital issue and a leadership issue. The law technicalities may or may not protect you. We will see. But just know we aren’t going down without a fight. No human being deserves to endure what we have from your hospital. Read your reviews. It’s obvious we aren’t the only ones complaining. It’s amazing how far a simple apology or an acknowledgement will go. You just can’t get yourself to admit the issues and show some compassion to your patients though. Shame on you!Katherine Morris Was in the emergency room for about two hours and was told I would be given something for pain and for nauseous and was given nothing. Sent home in pain and still nauseous. The nurses were rude. Barely spoke to me and the doctor didn’t barely felt around to see where my pain was. Felt like he wasn’t even listening to my concerns. Will not return to this ER.Sadie Ore I have had issues for the past 2 months. I have gone in 5 times and they did the same run of test, I didn’t feel like they focused on what I had been experiencing before being seen. Numbness, arm and leg pains, Chest pain and feeling as if I’m going to fall… I fell three days ago… The did a MRI found nothing wrong with my head but sent me home, again.. With the same symptoms.Ashlie Mcgehee⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedAMAZING staff. Great surgery department. Very kind and patient with my staysHovalynn Christensen I’ve been in several different times I refuse to go back they are incredibly disrespectful they don’t listen!! On March 6th I went in around six at night and they lady at the front desk was So rude got short with me for no reason, laughed in my face. Then when they did take me back I sat in my room for almost an hour before I was seen I asked for a banket I had a fever!!! Waited another hour the Dr. didn’t check my throat or ears didn’t do anything for me gave me a breathing treatment?? For the flu and sent me home, well on the 7th I made an appointment with my primary I had a double ear infection. She listened to my lungs and they were clear and her words exactly where I don’t know why they would give you a breathing treatment. They don’t care about the little people. I plan on filing a complaint against them with higher up. They need to treat everyone the same.Grace Z⭐️⭐️The security guards are kinder then the doctors. We were there from 7:00 AM to 2:30 PM because my mother had extreme pain in her left leg. First, they sent her up tp the maternity ward (she is 38 weeks) to check the baby. They were very kind but, after that, we just waited for hours in the ER. My mom just wanted to know what was wrong, but the doctors treated her as though she was seeking just pain drugs. The security guards were very kind, as well as the maternity nurses (they are the reason this even got 2 stars) but the ER definetly needs improvment.baghdad4ever1980 it is the worst ER in the world they would leave you dying our in pain , suffering for few hours before they even see you , if you are in a serious situation dont come here because you would die before they see you .
