Before you go to St. Rose Hospital, you may want to know what the people who have already gone to this Hayward emergency room think.
Seth KozlowskiI highly suggest that if your going to deliver a baby anytime soon AVOID this hospital! My grandson and wife had the worst experience anyone could possibly have. The first baby of delivery should be one of happiness and joy not stress and total upset. The day nurses were fine, caring, attentive and would answer all questions. This one night nurse was worse than anyone could imagine. The doctor was rude and ignored the family when asked questions. The nurse should not be a nurse and definitely should not be around the delivery patients. I think in her country it was allowed to be mean and spiteful, but here in the US it is not. She forced ice in the mothers mouth to keep her from bothering her, she told her she had to be quiet during pushes and the doctor made very rude comments as to whether she has ever held a baby before. There is much more to add but I am sure you get the picture. It was like being in the twilight zone or some third world country. We noticed an ambulance going in the back as we were leaving and I wanted to hale it down and wish the poor person luck!Masuod AfridiIt is now 4:00 pm we come to the emergency room of St Ruose hospital at 12:45 PM, but unfortunately no one asks about our problems, if you don’t have time and can’t handle please don’t keep waiting the patients let them know to go to some other hospital emergency rooms. Very Very poor service quality.Jazzmen GreenI came through emergency care at a little after 12mid night and was In waiting room for 4 hours b4 seen by doctor which i was ok with! But as soon i got in the room to be seen a doctor literally came and left with 5 minutes with me and just quickly wrote prescription and sent me off like no test results nothingGigi Love⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI’m not sure why such bad ratings but I am hear visiting and needed to go a few days ago however, After reading the reviews, I was VERY reluctant. From the time that I walked in until the time I was discharged…. THE BEST HOSPITAL -BED SIDE MANNERS IVE EXPERIENCED besides my own in my hometown. Dr. Kao Was through and concerned about my situation. Anna was very courteous and Paul , you’re just awesome and sweet. Also my nurse was great too. Melissa was great and sweet. You first just have to trust God and then trust yourself and listen to your body then He gives us a Medical team to take care of us. They are very busy and I’m sure that they do their best to take care of each and every one of us. God Bless you All at the St. Rose Hospital in Union City. May he continue to shine on you all as a faculty and staff.PR⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedAfter my husband’s week long stay, nothing but positive experiences. Nursing staff was great-Juan, Ashu, Jonathan, were so helpful! Doctors were great as well. It really makes a difference when everyone you run into is smiling and positive.Peter XueCalled 911 on 8/3 around 3:30 pm, ambulance came and took our 94 year old mother to St Rose emergency room, she had a hard fall on the ground and broke four ribs on one side so It was in a life threatening situation due to internal bleeding and her age However it took this hospital for almost 4 hours to just get the CT scan taken and image read, then they finally decided it’s critical enough to transfer her on an ambulance again to Eden Medical Center traumatic room in Castro Valley, She could have died from St Rose hospital due to bad care and unbelievable delays. Stay aware from that hospital.ana gonzalezThey take hours to register a patient. I was there since 4 am till 2pm just waiting in the waiting room and still waited hours to get a room and waiting again for the doctor to see me.nikki katinaSlowest service you could ever imagine. I asked for a cup of water and never received it. There’s never enough rooms for people to be admitted in so the wait time is always ridiculously long. St.Rose y’all really need to do better. Come up with a plan to get patients in and out in a reasonable timing. You should see how it’s done at other hospitals!!! My daughter had her first child here.it was a nightmare Dr Minevich and Nurse Lee were the most unprofessional, rude, incompetent Dr and nurse I have ever come across. They both will be reported to the medical board.Laila Khan⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedDont know why the bad reviews not that bad was seen in less then an hour. And discharged after an hour.Eric BickelBeen waiting 4hours never got seen..Derek PerryNEVER go to this hospital!! Before going to the hospital my friend called them ahead to make sure there was no wait in the emergency room. The woman on the line said there wasn’t a wait, so we rushed over. When we arrived the waiting room was full of people. I went up to the counter and told her that I had gotten tea tree oil in my ear and that I need immediate emergency help. She gave me a form and asked me to sit down. I was in agony! I couldn’t even see the papers. I told her I needed a doctor immediately. After shuffling around for a minute she asked me to come back into the medical area. She sat me down and said a doctor would be there soon. I sat and waited, I even went to the nurses station and begged for them to help me. They all seemed to roll their eyes at me for a moment and completely ignored me. I asked again and one of the nurses said with the most condescending tone, “Sir, please go sit back down. Someone will be with you shortly”. As I sat and waited a slew of homeless people were brought in on gurneys by the EMT’s of Hayward. Each one, strung out and high as a kite were wheeled in ahead of me. I sat there for 3 hours in the most agonizing pain I’ve ever experienced. Finally, a doctor shows up and checks out my ear. She then says she’ll call poison control and get back to me. Another hour goes by and I was literally tearing up from the pain. A nurse finally shows up and says that Poison Control says to use mineral oil in my ear. They take another 30 minutes to get the mineral oil from the pharmacy. A few weeks later I received a bill for a little over $500. I called the hospital to complain and tell them that I shouldn’t have to pay for what I had to suffer through there and they could have cared less. The woman on the phone was annoyed that I was even speaking to her. The entire time I was there the front desk staff kept harassing me to sign forms. The people at the front desk barely spoke English. NEVER GO TO THIS HOSPITAL!!!!Nisansala KumuduMy husband had a really bad heart pain then we decided to go to this hospital, Beginning was very fast they took him inside rightaway, but 4 hours went to do the ECG test & Xray, thats it what they did, no any other treatment no other tests, they gave him 1 ibuprofen tablet & they said nothing to worry its just a muscle pain, hes suffering since 3 years of this chest pain its getting worse day by day, to take the ibuprofen we dont wanna go to the Emergency room, they talk nice & staff is okay but u dont get any treatment wt u want here, finally they wrote him to take 600mg advil when he got a pain 🙁 is this emergency service ? very disappointed ☹️Fernando RamirezTook almost 2 hours just to register nurses in the front desk were too buisy laughing and txt while patients are in pain! I do not recommend comeing here at allSophia RHorrible hospital. I’d rather go to Highland in Oakland. Broke my ankle and i couldnt even get a drop of water.smhPatrick GriffinEasily, hands down, the worst hospital exerience for. The emt workers were fantastic. The doctors and the latter of the 2 nurses were great as well. The first Filipino lady who started off by banging my swollen foot on tbe door was not off to a good start. Then talking to me like im a 2 year old had me fuming. I was asked upon entering if i wanted to see a case worker as i am currently homeless. I expressed to multiple people there i have no money and no where to go. I did not get to see a case worker. I was left siging papers and being discharged in a shirt no addtional clothing into the chilly night with a back pack, a laptop bag and crutches. I was given no shoe for my secerly swollen left foot. I was discharged on the 25th at 130am roughly. It is no the 27th 7:01am and with my job interview today at 11:00am with Tesla. You can only imagine how goimg in there on crutches in the same clothes for 3 days and a odor you can smell from 6 feet away. I am disappointed with everyone i have spoken to from the city and county who have failed doing there jobs with straight Fs. Tha k you in cobtributing to me being homeless another mobth i would say at the minimum.Cheryl BiglemanI wouldn’t even give ut the one star..i just left there went in with bad lower stomach pains didn’t take long to get in a room but from 7pm till 9pm (when i desided to up n leave) i never seen a dr the nurse would come in and leave never geard the whole reason why i was there..
