Before you go to St. Vincent Evansville, you may want to know what the people who have already gone to this Evansville emergency room think.
Zoro Vincent⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedThis is the best hospital I’ve ever been to! They did everything they could, as quickly as they could and as thoroughly as they could. I’ve been to my fair share over the years (I broke my ankle three times, broken wrist, cracked my skull and on and on I could go) I’ve never been treated so well, the staff were lovely and so sweet. I never really have expectations as I enter the ER, just fix me up and send me off, these guys were just above and beyond everything I’ve ever experienced.Bonnie Haller⭐️⭐️⭐️St Vincent/St Mary’s Medical Center/St Mary’s hospital is a good but old hospital. The employees can only do what they are paid to do the hands on patient care. Maybe pay them more and cut bigwigs salaries that make $100. an hour. I was born there 60yrs ago. LolJuliana Giddings⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedThis hospital is wonderful! They took great care of me when I went. Caring staff, fast attention and very attentive. When I took my 23month old daughter there for help, they treated us so wonderfully. The nurses were playful and helpful with her, the doctor pushed for results and the CEO of pediatrics made sure my daughter got the EEG testing down that night instead of waiting for the slow doctors office to schedule one in a couple months when they felt like it. Plan on having my baby here and feel completely at ease.michelle williswas admitted after having emergency surgery. Dr was great. But nurses and techs do not check on you at all. My iv alarm went off at 7 am. I called them about it and they never came in. Called again they finally came in at 930 to change the bag after the alarm was going off that whole time. Called out for a drink. After an hour of not getting it I had to finally get up and walk the halls to find someone to get me a drink. Couldn’t use the bathroom because they were monitoring my output. No one came in to dump it or check on it. I had to keep calling nurses to dump it so I can use the bathroom. One nurse finally told me to just dump it but remember what it measured. Really. I’m pretty sure that’s what your suppose to do. I’m suppose to remember what it was every time I dump it without even having a pen and paper. This hospital is a joke. The food is cold and terrible. They sent me a banana that wasn’t even edible. It was completely black inside. Coffee With no sugar or creamer. I will never come back here. Next time I will go out of my way to go to deconessOmmecca collective sanctuaryOne of the worst ER’s I’ve ever been to. Staff was terrible talking badly about patients at the nurse desk and was audible to all around. Came by ambulance and staff didn’t seem too concerned, nor was kind or caring. Treated with hostility being in pain, had to ask for so much as a Tylenol, like I had to guide them on how to do their job! Didn’t even ask, but was sure to come in 3 times in the 30 minutes I was there to “double check my insurance information”. When I complained I never had to force the nurse to bring me some type of Tylenol, and during that process was the third time they came in to check my insurance. When I got mad then another nurse came in (not my nurse) and asked me where I got those? Meaning the prescription that I was holding for antibiotics that the doctor gave me, all but outright accusing me of what? Stealing prescriptions? Huffily going on the computer about slamming the keys and looking up my chart to check and make sure that I was supposed to have prescriptions and then had security come and escort me out BEFORE I WAS EVEN BROUGHT ANY MEDS, where the security proceeded to yell at me (for yelling), and told me to “kick rocks” and continued to yell at me while he held his hand on his belt and threaten to call the police. WOW. I was treat hostilely the entire time and like I was a criminal for coming into the hospital. Someone really needs to check them and their attitude towards people, not everyone coming in is pill seeking, and it’s obvious that’s what it was. Absolutely atrocious service and treatment. WILL ABSOLUTELY NEVER COME IN HERE AGAIN AND PLEASE GO TO DEACONESS BEFORE YOU LET ANY OF THESE HATEFUL PEOPLE TOUCH YOU. It’s astounding that anyone would treat someone who is that sick so poorly, if you want to be a detective join the police academy, please don’t become a nurse or a doctor. Shameful.Sammy Naas⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedThe best hospital in Evansville. Great service and they really care that you are doing your best and healing well.Alexus Esters⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedHilary Eickhoff is a good doctor made sure before I went home I wasn’t in pain anymore , the day before I went deaconess they didn’t do no lab work only urine my love always been with this hospital y’all rock astro llamaThe doctors take their sweet time getting anything done while nurses sit around and chit chat when you or your loved one needs something.Tricia Owens⭐️⭐️I understand shift changing,……but patients can not stop the pain, stop the nauseous, etc just because employees want to catch up on gossip. Yes! I mean gossip, not up dating info on patient.Mike Carlin⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedTasia the RN did a great job i wish to give her 10 stars!!Steve Watkins⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedOutstanding professionalism and very caring. Prompt and respectful. Best service around.christin jonesI am appalled by how I was treated tonight in their ER. Absolutely awful.Joanne Will⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedTook my husband to ER in late Jan. Staff, ER doc and attending nurse were all great. Appreciate the care they gave my husband.David Thompson⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI went to ER yesterday, l had a great experience by Jennifer Radice. I was only there about 55 minutes. Problem was diagnosed and taken care of properly. Thank you for giving me such great care. Well worth the drive from Vincennes!Kayden Rose⭐️⭐️The rn here on Easter at 557p named Lauren with dark shoulder length hair and heavy set|short is very rude. She stuck my wife twice with a iv. She didn’t explain anything she was doing to my wife, or the medications given IV. I had to ask. The other lady who came in is very caring and explained everything to us. Lauren has no bed sid e manner, she had my wife get up to pee in a cup even after my wife told her she was dizzy. She didnt even make sure she was ok. Some people don’t care about others and it shows. Still sitting here. Minus the nasty look she was staring at my wife with. Horrible.kyle smithWas the worst experience in a hospital I’ve ever had or witnessed, my infant baby was treated like a lab rat, we were sent home saying she was perfect baby, only to return 4 days later and we’re treated like our baby didn’t matter, don’t get me wrong we did encounter some good nurses while our week long stay occurred, and left with no 100% knowledge of what was/is wrong, nurse shoved a NG tube down my daughter nose/throat without properly checking for placement, a nusre stood there while my daughter lay blue and limp in her mother’s arms and she ended up putting the oxygen on her herself because the nurse had no clue what to do in the pediatric unit. We had a password set up for our and our daughters security to not give information out about her but they gave info on her to a nurse that had called from home asking how “her baby” was doing, they tortured my daughter just poking an stabbing ever limb trying to get IV started, I can’t believe how horrible and careless and uneducated these people they call doctors and nurses are an we we’re disrespected by many of them, they acted like they cared to fix the issues when director Kathy came an talked to us but needless to say they don’t give a s***. I wouldn’t recommend them if I had a raccoon with rabbiesgeralyn caplan⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI came into the ER in extreme phantom pain on 10/21. The staff was brilliant. They got me in a room, brought in medication, stopped to talk to me, they were just wonderful. They did not question my need for medication, they did not push anything else, they knew I hurt and they had me treated in less than 30 minutes. When you are in extreme pain time matters. I am sorry since I was in a lot of pain I did not catch the names of the PA or nurse. Thank you for taking the matter seriously. I really appreciate it.Douglas M. VaughnFirst off, the parking was very very limited. It was way too small. Second, the door to the back room was wide open so everyone in the waiting room could hear my business, and I theirs. The staff was rude and uneducated and tried to rush my girlfriend out. She started crying at one point, and they didnt console her whatsoever. They also lost her urine sample, and ran out of medicine she needed.Mike ReynoldsVery unprofessional in The emergency room doctor had no clue what she was doing rude and the other staff members was to went in couldn’t breathe and all they gave me was one treatment layed there for two hours before they gave the breathing treatment and I I had another issue she never even looked at thatJennifer RuderPhone system is totally useless. Staff at main desk and throughout the departments either are all new, no proper training or the true feeling I got was they just DON’T give a damn. What a fiasco. I bet St. Vincent in indianapolis will or already highly thet made the purchase of this hospital. UNBELIEVABLE!!!Cris CohoonAlmost killed me .. I went into septic shock after open heart .. Was in dialysis for months after ..Courtney Harper⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedReview #2 Of course, the hospital itself is a 5. Some of the staff sucks but, were all human, right? Anyway. This review has to do with the women & children center. I’ve given birth to all of my children there. They have an amazing NICU and amazing OB doctors. Shout out to John Reid specifically!!! It’s a totally safe and comfortable place to have a baby. Not only do they provide excellent care, the stay is comfortable. You get a big queen size bed for you and your husband to sleep in, a mini fridge, plenty of seating for visitors, excellent menu, and they even throw your baby a birthday party with cake and beverages for you and your guests 🙂 it’s excellent!AnaHorrible service you arrive on time in the doctors office everybody els comes in they take back there but me and my son …..they need to go buy who gets there first second third not buy who they want ….it makes me mad ….please take your child els were not here they dont carejustice rileyWas there for 6 hrs. Told I was going to be admitted for pancreatitis and then told me I could go home and monitor myself with pain management. I don’t go to the emergency room to get told to fix my own problem. Also the pain script that they wrote me is such a rare one know body has it in stock. The staff real didn’t seem like they cared at all. I will never return to that place.Rena TappThank God for home remedies and people I know personally in the medical field. Went to the ER this week and they sent me straight back out the door. No meds no help. (After 5hrs of course) Called a friend and they helped me within mins. I just dont recommend the ERDiania Zeien⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI live out of state and had to make a trip to the emergency room via ambulance here at St Vincent. Everyone there was kind, patient, and treated me with dignity. What I had going on was very embarrassing for me and everyone there was great. Thank you for taking such great care of me.Mary WilliamsI was assaulted by 2 of their rent-a-pig security guards!!!Mary BowyerThe RN’s was fabulous but The PA that my friend saw was overly rude and she could care less about the pain she was inFinn Brooks⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedThey really cate about people and help people get betterCourtney Harper⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI give the hospital itself a 5. However;some of the staff… id rate a 0. I was there tonight for a tooth ache, and received a toradol injection. First of all, I wasn’t asked a single health history question. Wasn’t asked current medications. Or asked what medications I’d taken today. Toradol has nasty side effects and aren’t supposed to be taken with like. Ibuprophen. So, what did the P/A send me home with? Ibuprophen. Hmm.. also, I was never asked to rate my pain. I’m going to assume the crappy treatment I received was due to the assumption that I’m a drug seeker, due to my tattoos and rocker fashion. I don’t appreciate receiving crappy care based off of assumptions. And fine, don’t prescribe narcotics but you could do your job and make sure the drug you are giving me is safe for me to take. I don’t think you could make a safe assessment by not asking me my health history, or current prescribed list of medications. The PA I saw went by the name Emily. Awful at her job.Adam SpearsI took my girlfriend to the er just last night.. and we are not from around here so we had to take out 3 kids with us our oldest is 2 and our twins boys that are 5 months old.. she got there before 11 and didn’t get out till almost 3.. six people went in after her and came out before her. and for being in there so long they had forgot about her.. she sat in her room and waited for an hour 15 mins for a test that only takes 5 mins to do.! And then it took them 35mins to do her discharge and if I hadn’t ran in to ask what was going on she would have been there another hour to 2 hours.! and not only that as she sat back there their was staff talking about a paiteint that wasn’t very professional and started laughing about a patients condition.! This hospital is the worst that I’ve ever seen and been too. I’ll never come back to this hospital.!Kris Neale⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedSecond to none… You all are awesome. .. From the e.r, to maternity, lifeflight, etc… Wonderful ppl, equals wonderful experienceNancy SmithHorrible experience, will never return extremely rude and got talked down to on several occasions.Jon Bond⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedSon had accident with stitches,in and out in 2 hours
