Gene Butler⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedReceived excellent care at the ER Saturday night. The staff were all quickly responsive and helpful. Dr Levin was great. RN Shannon ____ (don’t have her last name) was truly outstanding. She deserves 10 stars.Elyse Rota⭐️⭐️Automatic payments are never cancelled once payment is paid off! I owed the hospital $137 and change for blood work. I set up FOUR automatic payments of $35 and they were taken out of my visa debit card bi-weekly. I authorized the four and ONLY the four. When it was time for the fourth and last payment, it was supposed to be 32 and change but they charged the $35. I figured whatever, they would reimburse me the two dollars once they notice I over paid. Nope! They charged me two more times. I ignored the fifth payment thinking I owed more than $137 and once a sixth payment came out, I went back to the original bill and noticed that I paid too much. In total, I over paid $72 and change and it’s not flagged on their end. They didn’t see that I overpaid. They kept my debit card info and continued to take payments out. All payments after the fourth should have been blocked by the system since my balance was zero and I only authorized four. I would not recommend setting up automatic payments through their website/portals. You are better off sending them a check. Thank god for online banking because I wouldn’t have noticed or been notified charges were made and that they were continually taking money out without my knowledge or permission. Since the incident, my account has been removed online and will be disputing the difference through my bank. I’ve lived in the area for 30 years and Sturdy has always had a bad rep and have always have bad reviews. I can see why. You’re literally stealing money from patients bank accounts without their knowledge.Molly CanadayI can name more than a half dozen nurses and one doctor that should not have their jobs. I have been here multiple times over the last few weeks and while some nurses were amazing and exactly what a nurse should be, some are the least considerate and terribly rude people I have met. You have to be a very specific type of person to work with people and patients and it’s disappointing and dehumanizing when those working in the hospital are not those people.Leeski⭐️⭐️⭐️Came in today at 1AM with sever pain being caused by kidney stone. Was taken right away and brought into an ER private room. Nurse took vitals and Doctor came with 5 minutes to interview me. I had given a urine sample and clearly had blood in it. Nurse arrived to start IV and give shot of Morphine for pain. Nurse was very personable and attentive. Blood was drawn and Catscan taken, all within 30 minutes of arrival. Then, no attention was paid. Had to ring for nurse 3 times and no protocol for how they would collect next urine sample to if stones passed. Was given a strainer and shown to restroom. They passed, then went back to my room. No nurse follow , had to ring again. Different nurse showed up. Told her I’d like to stay for couple hours to sleep there since my wife went home to sleep, but if they needed bed, I would certainly leave. Request fell on deaf ears. Doctor came into room to review catscan read. Told him I already passed stones and pointed to them in strainer. He didn’t even care to look at them and couldn’t care less to make eye contact or talk to me. Very young and terrible bedside manner. Did not acknowledge my request to stay and sleep for 2 hours, now 5am. Then, original nurse comes back in with discharge from paperwork. No communication between any of the staff and I was only patient in there! Not impressed at allTiffany OhanleyDid blood work on me. (Other test as well ) was there over 6 hours. Very unhappy with my Dr. So I called tf he next day and complained. Another Dr called me back and asked if they had given me results of blood work. They hadn’t. The other Dr told me I very high blood sugar and to go see my regular Dr write away. There ER is awful.Keiath Bergman⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedSturdy Memorial Hospital Has Added Editions / west wings East wings through the years Donated by the Cities Local Businesses and Has Appreciated Patients through the years my Experience there is Always pleasant Since as an Child And they’ve always addressed my Ailments property and professionally.TheNorseGinger⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI was admitted for 3 days, for a kidney infection when I was 17. Unfortunately that was over Halloween, but the nurses, doctors, and maintenance staff were some of the kindest people I’d ever met, and treated me like their own. I overall received excellent care, and they made sure the UTI was well treated before releasing me. They still tried to make it an enjoyable holiday for me, as well and for that I’m still very grateful.Kyle White⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI had day surgery on my back to remove a mass. The staff was ultra friendly and kind and gentle and not judging of my fears and concerns. My questions were answered quickly and accurately. The hospital itself was very clean, pre op, pacu, and operating room. I went into this as my first surgery and I suffer from anxiety. They made me feel comfortable and relaxed. If I have to have another surgery I will definitely go here and feel much less anxious next time. Thanks for the amazing care!aralyn wondersIf I could rate this hospital a -5 or a 0 I DEFINITELY WOULD!! I went there on a Monday and told me I’m 2cm dilated (& I’m 36 weeks pregnant)… they checked me in and everything was going great until I got to a small room and a nurse had to talk to me about who’s my primary and about my medical records for I was being seen in at a different hopital in Boston, MA. They told me I couldn’t have my baby at this hospital until I made an appointment with a third party? They told me they didn’t get any of my medical records (which I’m for certain they sent it over a whole month prior)… and gave me a list of docs to pick from – and didn’t give me any advice on how to prepare for labor, it was horrible. I was there for 4 hours with contractions 5 mins apart – the doctor took their time to recheck me to see if I’m dilated longer. They told me I wasn’t and sent me home!! I called them today (Wednesday) I wanted to know if I can return to my job or to stay home, or just information on how to know if I’m dilated more (for this is my 1st pregnancy) and the nurse cuts me off and accuses me of not receiving proper prenatal care & idk how she can say that if they don’t have my medical records or know any of the things I’ve done??! I TOLD THEM IM TRANSFERRING TO THEM!! I felt so uncomfortable and beyond disrespected I wouldn’t recommend them for material advice or treatment. I’m going back to my original doctor in Boston, MA. So don’t take your risks here they don’t know what the hell they’re doing!!! I agree that the nurses don’t know how to talk to people, and lack of respect to the patients that come in. Now I also have to drive to Boston, and I live in Attleboro.Cassandra LaurentIf I can give this hospital 0 stars, I would. The worst hospital you can go too. Did not received good treatment. Nurses lack in knowledge. The nurses are also very rude and are not welcoming. I live in Attleboro MA but now I have to drive all the way to Boston, MA when I have an emergency because the poor quality of this hospital. It needs to be shut down or a new owner needs to take over. Also, they need to hire new nurses.Amanda C⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedMultiple visits as this is the closest hospital to my house. Akways quick and attentive staff.DONNA SANTIAGOMaternity at this place was the worse….. They don’t make family feel like it’s a family event, nursing and Dr’s were very rude, and cold. Not a great way to welcome a new baby….Jessica BrooksWasn’t even offered water or ibuprofen after I was rushed by ambulance, from being rear ended in a car accident and complaining of pain! I clearly have a concussion too and all I was diagnosed with was whiplash. Seeing my primary care tomorrow!! Unbelievable!!!!!!!!!!!!! Couldn’t have been more rushed with the whole evaluation! UNREAL! UNPROFESSIONAL! I will never go to Sturdy again, and I will never let my family be in anyone’s care there! All I was offered was an ice pack and warm blanket. After a REAR END CAR ACCIDENT being hit at about 37 mph!?!?! I was there for over 3 hours!!!!!!Mathew MartelloHi, this is Matt from Norristown, PA. A friend/Business Partner of mines in Massachusetts got wrongfully committed into this Hospital against his own will!!! He did nothing wrong to get committed there. All my friend was doing was peacefully venting on a Prayer Line. And then the Prayer Line wrongly/unlawfully called the police on him. They committed him into the Sturdy Mental Hospital without him signing any papers. Then when I called the Hospital Saturday and Sunday, the hospital lied to me saying that they have released him, when he was still in the hospital. I also talked with my Massachusetts friend as well and he said that they also lied to his daughter, his son, and his friends saying that he have left the hospital. My Massachusetts friend also said that in order to get legally committed into an mental institution, the insane patient needs to sign about 30+ documents. The hospital has to know what you are allergic to and what you are not allergic to. So if the hospital forced my friend to take psychotic medications that he is allergic without him signing anything that he is allergic to, and he would die because of the allergic reaction, the hospital would then be held responsible. What this shows is that the hospital is doing malpractice of my Massachusetts friend. All this hospital is trying to do is make money off of malpractice situations and this hospital should be shut down.Christine AyresWorst hospital for inpatient. Two reasons why my inpatient hospital was the worst. 1. Nurses could not draw my blood, bruised my arm, very soar with pain. 2. Could not get a nurse at certain times during my stay, held off on my medications. I had to manage it myself.Heather DiGiustino⭐️⭐️Sometimes they are good but if you keep going back for the same infection month after month it should tell them treatment is not working. And maybe they should listen to the patient who knows their body most. Like if you know you need that second dose but they keep saying no. Well I was there every month for six months for the same god damn thing. Never going back. Quick care is a semi joke.Lesleigh Nydam⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedAlways wanting a willing to take care of me treats me like I really matter and they really want you to get better love sturdy memorial!Meus Kaveny⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedThe care I received from my oncologist, surgeon, & radiologist and the staff of the chemo & radiology centers was outstanding. They were excellent professionals and also caring and compassionate.Caroline Laneiro⭐️⭐️⭐️i have been to sturdy a few times and was not impressed by thier mental health counselors and found the hospital most of the times not able to siut my needsMorgan G⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI have been here a lot for different tests myself, such as x-rays, asthma testing, ultrasound, mri, and visiting sick family, especially during my grandmothers battle with multiple myeloma. Recently i had to get my first MRI. I was extremely nervous as i had never had one before. The MRI techs were so nice and made me feel comfortable. It was a great experience! I will also be seeing Dr. Singhal in August and confident it will be a great experience as i have always had positive experiences here!Kthis hospital only hurts people. I needed a note from dr Chan to start work at a new job. He refuses to write notes and doesn’t care if that mean I can’t start a new job- in a hospital no less. He refuses to help. Barbara his assistant tried so hard to help me and even got my new employer to decrease the amount of medical information they require. They’re now allowing the last note on file from dr Chan to serve as his ok to work. I am now here at medical records where a bunch of dumb apes won’t do there job and release the note. Between medical records and dr Chan I feel like I’m in a zoo. Dr Chan isn’t a doctor he’s a money hungry POS that only cares about when you come back again so he can get another $14k. Yes he’s out of my network, knew it and afterwards once I was billed I was told he didn’t tell me bc then I wouldn’t have gotten the procedure. Your gd right I wouldn’t I would’ve gone to someone in network. Dr Chan is an absolute money grubbing a hole. And medical records are a bunch of morons. Update: pos Chan wrote a note saying what meds I’m on but wouldn’t report on my back Dear POS STURDY HOSPITAL ILL SEE YOU IN COURT YOU DOUCHE BAGSTc Pendarvis⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI been Living In Attleboro For 21 Yrs and I Must Say. Sturdy Is An Excellent Hospital. I been Here Countless Of Times For Asthma, For MRi, For Xrays, Sleep Study, Pain-Management, Colonoscopy, Endoscopy, And Received Nothing But The Very Best Care Time After Time… In All The yrs Had One I say One E.R. Moment. This Is An Excellent Hospital If I Do Say So Myself! Asthmatic They Get Straight In Just Like The Big Hospital In Boston. Only Thing For Me. They Need Some More Diversity In That E.R. Admitting Area. Ive Worked At Countless Of Hospitala In Boston, Brighton, Somerville. Sturdy Has Come A Long Way.jonas pierreAnother example of poorly trained medical staff making mental health patients feel like second class citizensLiviyachi⭐️⭐️⭐️I came to the hospital with stomach pains and talked about my pains. I felt embarrassed that I was sick and everything was blamed on “anxiety” and was just talked over by a doctor who just didn’t seem to care and just wanted me out. But hours later I did have a good experience with another doctor who actually gave me good advice. In conclusion, there’s still good doctors here but some absolutely have the worst attitudes.Francisco Caraballo⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI want to say thanks to the kindest nurses that this hospital has, especially to Kate, Dorin, Carolyn (Bilingual & pleasant), Melissa, Tatyana, Ana Maria, Addie (She was like a mother for my wife), Barbara, Lindsay, Debbie and Linda (Bilingual and very attentive). I want to apologize if I am missing anyone. I have no words to describe the attention of these nurses. My wife gave birth at this Hospital and I have to say that we were treated like family by the nurses and medical staff. From what I have read I can say that this is the best department in this Hospital. Please keep doing what you do. We need more people like you.Fadi RoumanosI never been in a hospital that I’ve been so uncomfortable in all my life, press the button takes 10 min plus for an answer. The bed they gave me is hard as a rock the er strecher more comfortable. There are some nice nurses though but patients needs are far from stellar!! What a shame.. Sad part I’m still here for a day maybe more Sandra. R Mercier⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedThey have always been great never had any problems while I was there they are good to me waiting that can be another story but they have priorities that are more important and I understand that some situations are a lot worse and that’s okay with meSpencer MurrayNurse are absolutely rude and the ER take well over 3 hrs to been to or actually attended toBelino MarquesThey have an extensive “bag of tricks” to maximize charging you better saying to overcharge you.Joshua BraleyDisgusting service period . People truly think that they knowledge they have is a power tilt and your stupid lol.NoodleCakeThe worst place ever.. went There in major pain and the Asian doctor tried giving me a lesson on meds with a bunch of technical terms while I’m screening in pain..then kept talking about what he thought could be wrong and kept going on for over 20 mins .. we got up and left and drove to Miriam.. totally inept and total lack of awareness to the severity of what I was dealing with.. this isn’t the only bad experience I’ve had there.. I’ll never go backJoseph DimodicaThis is by far the worst hospital I have ever been to, I was involved in a car accident – brought in around 9am and was not seen by a doctor until 11am the next day. Have been through 5 different nurses and switched rooms three times, no urgency and or structure and was there for two days. I advise you to go to ANY other hospital, this was an extreme waste of my time and horrible doctor care.M V⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedMy elderly father was brought in for a possible stroke. Dr. Van Ness and all the staff (I wish I could remember all their names) Craig the PCA was great. The PCL was amazing. They were all so kind and caring. Very thorough in providing the right tests. We could not have had a better experience. My mother passed away at Sturdy and we know sometimes these situations do not have a happy ending. Luckily this one did. Our experience with this this last time and even with my mother was nothing but kindness and support. Thank you so much Dr. Van Ness and everyone at Sturdy for the excellent care you provided. We even got a follow up call after leaving the ER. Just amazing and I’m happy to have them as our local hospital.Mary SoperDavita did my dialysis when there. Davita gave me a petroleum jelly clear. It did not work and 16 millimeter needles huge! Screamed in pain. Ihad a friend bring in my cream . 90 minutes davita nurse insisted ididnt need it when it was numb 90 minutes and i had no pain. She sat in hallway my entire treatment.Jim Abreau⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedWife gave birth there and received excellent care. She had a C-Section and was overnight for 5 nights. The clinicians provided excellent patient care to my wife and newborn son. She received great attention from all staff, including doctors and nurses throughout her stay. The hospital was accommodating of all visitors. It was a much warmer experience than a typical large medical center where you feel like “just a number” and occupied bed.Matthew GalanoWhere do I start at how terrible this hospital is… I watched a baby who couldnt breath wait for an hour and a half before the parents called Hasbro to say they were on the way… second my mother had 103 degree fever and climbing with severe pain and kidney issues and throwing up, couldn’t walk couldnt keep any fluids down and a guy with a limp due to an ankle injury was taken first along with three other people with no severe symptoms who could carry themselves just fine… their excuse was sicker people first… what!? yet she waited 2 hours to be seen and almost another hour by the doctor… 3 hours and it was slow! They had a random patient half dressed just laying in the hallway… and last but not least private rooms where people change etc legally cannot have cameras… guess what they have in their rooms… cameras! Stay away from this hospital. Staff is rude! And they do not care about patient wellbeing… they care about quick in and outs to make the most money and nothing more! Go to charleton in fall river or providence hospital the drive is worth the better care…Angela ArgujoMy husband was in so much pain he went to the ER which a huge waste of time and money so we were apprehensive when we were referred to go to their pain clinic by his chiropractor . The pain clinic is even WORSE! DO NOT GO! After giving us hope one appointment the next appointment the doctor told him “ I’m not going to keep giving you shots so you’re going to have to suck it up! Deal w the pain and over time you won’t feel it!” He told my husband who is an Army Vet to suck it up! How could the doctor give us hope one appointment then tell us to suck it up the next?! So unprofessional! Then the doctor went to administer the epidural with out anesthesia and my poor husband still is in the same as he was when he went in! So do not go and waste your money and time! You will just feel as defeated as we do AnonymousI had day surgery and everything was fine until I was brought into the OR. Once in the OR I was asked to move onto another bed next thing I knew I awoke in recovery. I never saw the anesthesiologist in the OR, I was never told by anyone I was about to be put under, I was told nothing except could you move onto this bed. I have had surgery in other hospitals and I always saw the anesthesiologist in the OR and I was always told when they were going to put me out. When I awoke in recovery I told the nurse I did not feel good she told me she would give me something for the nausea not sure if she did, I continued to feel sick and told them but they moved me to the next phase then sent me on my way. I got sick all over someone’s lawn on the way home. I did file a formal complaint and received a letter stating my concerns were addressed with the proper parties and my case was now considered closed. My sturdy doctor was wonderful but the care and compassion I received at Sturdy was horribleDouglas Mercer⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedDr Bowman did surgery on me, a rt total knee replacement. He did a incredible job. The staff that works there did a incredible job as well. From Nursing, patient care assistants, to physical therapy, Phlebotomist, and house keeping. I want to thank you all very much. If I miss any names please know I did not forget your actions and help. This is a big Thank you to Cyndy RN, Arianna RN, Danielle RN, Jesse RN, Gryleen RN, Heidi RN, Stacey RN, Kara PCA, Joanne PCA, Michelle PCA, Eduardo PCA, Brenda PCA, Chad PT, Russell PT, Allesondra PT, Lindsay RT, Terrin RT, Richard from lab Phlebotomist, House Keeping Debbie, and Lorie. I am sorry I do not remember names of the nurses and staff members from surgery. These people went above and beyond at this hospital, they were kind and hard working, as well worked as a team. Words alone can’t describe the treatment I received. Thank you and God Bless you all. Sincerely, Douglas MercerAlyI came in with stomach pains last year, and was sent home and told I had a stomach bug. Pain got worse, came back several hours later and then waited another few hours before I saw a doctor. Again, they told me I just had a stomach bug – but told me if it made me “feel better” they’d give me a CT scan. Asked for the CT scan, and was in surgery an hour later to have my appendix out. I will never be coming back. If I had gone home and it ruptured, this would have been much worse.Mima CelestinI’m at sturdy hospital right now and they have a horrible facility and very out of touch, seemingly bored and uneducated staff. Even the emergency staff are very unprofessional. Not all but the staff just sitting around the disgusting room we were put in…Brittany HellerWorst hospital I have ever been to! Drunks and junkies filled the lobby. One drunk man shouting about the vending machine and super slow service. I was in the waiting room for two hours. A nurse came out to take my blood in the lobby. After 2 hours I left and went else where. So dirty and ghetto! Just to Milford and don’t waste your timeDoctor DiarI’ve been sitting in this hospital ( emergency room) for 2 and one half hours. My first 15 minuets they had all my information and put me into a room. Since then I haven’t spoken to a doctor or nurse. No questions about how I may be feeling or if I need anything. Not even a check in to tell me a doctor will be around in some time span. I am ready to just walk out but afraid because I don’t know anything ( doctor wise) about my emergency.worst hospital visit ever. I’m only giving the one star because I can’t post without it. Not to mention there’s blood spots and stains in the bathroom I went to use but didn’t, and there has only been 1 doctor here my whole time here. Never againMae LynnBecause it is closest.. I continuously try sturdy as the hospital of choice. I will now drive the additional time it takes to go elsewhere.. ANYWHERE but sturdy. I have never had one good experience there. Emergency room? Minimum.. MINIMUM of 3 hours before you even see a doctor.. never mind if they actually feel like doing something. My sick daughter who couldn’t breathe and is only 2 was kept waiting longer than 3 hours. It’s the last straw. Rude and lazy staff with no patient care. Screw this place. I HIGHLY recommend this hospital be your last choice.tim johnsonThis emergency room is waste of time. Or at least the doctor stationed there is adept at eyeballing injuries apparently. In a serious accident and tboned on both sides. Sterring wheel to the face, wrist, lower back, neck and shoulder injuries. Wait 90 minutes for useless doctor Zachary harnett to walk in with a smug smile and look at me from 5 feet away, poke me a couple times and basically tells me to walk it off. Guess because I wasnt screaming like a little girl about the pain he thought he didnt need to test anything. Thanks for nothing doc.Barbara Scully⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI just had surgery at Sturdy Memorial Hospital. I was treated with kindness and compassion throughout my stay. Pre-op services were on time and friendly. My surgeon, Dr. Ralph Philosophe, was excellent as always and is highly skilled, compassionate and kind in his treatment of a very nervous patient. The nurses were the best – Jill, Marco and everyone else were always available and caring. Pam in social work was friendly and helpful. I rate my experience 5 stars!Amanda CsorbaI did not appreciate the way the staff treated me when I needed to leave from transport. Glad I left when I did and hope to not visit there any time soon. Power struggle is more of an issue than providing care at this place.Charles Hughes⭐️⭐️I would like to apoligize for the low review but the Dr who supposedly worked on me in the ER did what I expect from all Doctors as of late. I thought Drs had a mind of their own but as proven in past years I am witnessing the same incompetence where they are worried about themselves more than the patient. I was brought in by ambulance because of what I thought I pulled a muscle in my right side. Besides that I have ankylosing Spondylitis the past 20 years, up until last year I was being treated with pain medicine, but when the Dr wanted to increase my dose at it upset me enough that I told him I will not be taking them anymore, the reason for this for some reason my system adjust to not just pain medicine but even antibiotics etc. Its really quite disheartening. So up until yesterday it was my 1st time seeing any type of medical attention. Because the Doctors don’t hold to their true convictions and are afraid to even help a patient who was in great discomfort I hold my beliefs that the medical field has failed the people, all because of the damn addicts or the people who do get them yet they sell them to make money. I wrote to the American Joyrnal of Medicibe 20 years ago stating my beluefs that Doctors were passing out the opiates way to freely and that a simple sporadic pill count on different patients would stop the abuse befire it gets out of hand, I even told my Doctor at the time and he took it as a insult which was not my intent. My situation is painful everyday with my spine specifically C-1 through C-7 have fused on there on and a few in the T region. Fortunately I have made a another specialist at a Boston Hospital and hopefully will find a primary care physician at same hospital. I for one will never go near Sturdy Memorial since your Doctors are mire cobcerned fir tgemselves than their patients. But why would you be concerned I’m only one patient, but myself knowing people and not your regular abusers your Drs refusual to help will start a percentage of people not looking to get some type of high but some type of relief and why because if they go to other medical facilities they will be labeled to be Doctor shopping. I just happpen to choose to stop going because with me living in pain since 1991 except when I had real Doctors that know the difference between a real patient and a junkie. You know your basic machines as taki g your blood pressure and the one that says how fast yoyr heart is beating would give a indication at the level of pain somebidy is in. So congratulations on letting your board members control your Drs alobg with the DEA. For you information the opiate abuse is 8% on the east coast and the rest is from down south to mostly midwest. So thank you for keeping the opiate abuse aluve because of the scare you create in your Drs.Tracy Swartz⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI am at Sturdy Memorial Hospital.
