Ems TrsMy 11 yr old grandson was sick with fever, vomiting, chest hurting and sore throat and very little appetite since Wednesday, his mother took him in yesterday, and they find nothing wrong with, just gave him breathing treatment and sent him home! He has dr appt on monday BUT you’d think we could get him care till then! He’s still at home very sick! I do not recommend this place at all! So I need to post an update. Its Monday and has seen the Dr., he has pneumonia and strip. If the urgent care had done the proper tests including an xray they would have seen this! Therefore this place you call urgent care IS A JOKE! It needs to be shut down all it’s doing is taking money in and not giving the proper care patients need eight mysoulThese people were all joking and laughing not paying attention to my severed toe. Took forever to start the stitches, and the doctor acted like he didn’t know what he was doing. My mom is a RN… they took way too long stitching my toe up and gave me antibiotics for MY TOE. They over prescribe antibiotics here I think they all need more training because they don’t get much business so they feel like they can slack off and do whatever. They gave me about 12in of gauze to last NINE DAYS. What is that gonna do? They weren’t going to x Ray my foot at all, until I told them to (I’m 16 and have no medical training at all) which they found my toes were fractured. They wouldve let me walk out of there without the right treatment. Because they didn’t think it was “that bad and doesn’t require and X-ray” BS! My stitches have been open and exposed because they didn’t give me appropriate after care information. The stitches were so lose that the wound is not closing and there another gash they didn’t even bother closing! I will not be returning there to get my stitches removed they might accidentally cut my toe the rest of the way off! Lousy service, lousy clinic.Jordan Garcia⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedMy boyfriend and I have came here on a few occasions for various reasons. The most recent one was for a car accident (minor injuries obviously) I was examined and and released with minimal injuries in less than an hour. The nurses and doctors were absolute wonderful. The doctor did make an off putting comment about not liking to treat adults (i understand why). But other than that everything was amazing! Due to the nature of the visit I expected a high bill. I was correct about that, but that’s health care in America! Gotta love it. Overall, this place was great!Ben CrowdenJust a heads up for anyone looking for emergency treatment. If they start to talk about ibuprofen, don’t let them finish their sentence! Because if they do, it’s going to cost you $1300!!! I went from a $500 visit to a $1300 visit because it was SUGGESTED that I take ibuprofen. I have gone around and around with auditors and “escalation managers” about the ridiculous charge, but nothing can be done about it. Because the Dr. said “take some ibuprofen when you get home”, I’m stuck with an additional $1300 bill for “prescription and/or medication management”. DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!!!Kyndra Bricelyn⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️I’m really happy with the service they provided me. I was severely dehydrated, couldn’t keep ANYTHING down, and could barely even stand up on my own nor had any energy whatsoever to even talk. My mom brought me in and after being there for a couple hours on fluids I was able to go home feeling better. They were quick to help me and also very kind and made sure I was comfortable my whole visit.Andrea Vitera⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedSo thorough with an amazing staff!! I highly recommend them!!The Wiley FamilyWe had a script from our doctor to get a stool sample kit from the nearest UC Health for our son and when we got the stool sample from him to bring it back and they will send it off. Well we got the stool sample from him today and took it back and then they refused to take the sample from us. They were very rude and I would not recommend this office at all.Lindsey JenkinsThe staff was not very friendly or welcoming. Dr. Siri was very cold and showed no emotion. When you are not feeling well you hope to go in and feel like you are being helped to the fullest. I was there for 15 minutes for the provider to walk in barely exam me and send me on my way. I was in pain but she could have cared less. (I didn’t want pain pills) just an antibiotic shot or a pain ointment. They showed no concern or urgency. I’m sorry but while you may not feel it’s emergent, to me not being able to sleep or function for 3 days due to severe facial pain from an abscess is an issue when you have a family to take care of and things that need to be done.Daniel BoernerI went here because it was the closest ER to me. I woke up with a massive sharp pain in my stomach. I walked right in got great service, Dr and staff were incredible! Facilities were clean was a great experience overall and would highly recommend them, if you can afford it. It is purely because of the bill that I gave them 1 star. I was there less than an hour, was given a bag of saline and a very basic “does it hurt when I push here” exam. No tests were run, no images were taken. Felt better and walked out with the Dr saying “not really sure what caused your pain, but it appears the saline made it better, give us a call if it comes back.” I figured it would be about $500. I received a bill for $3,000!!! That was after my insurance company adjusted the bill as well. I don’t know enough about the medical field to say how they billed it and how they got it to a $3,000 bill, but I do know that next time, I’ll just make the drive to an actual hospital. I won’t ever allow them to gouge us like that again!Carl Hughes⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI am working in the metro area from out of town, and had an attack of kidney stones, my third time with this issue. I initially tried to go to an Urgent Care facility, only to be told they could and would not do anything for my pain. I went to the First Choice ER, and from the moment I walked in the door, I began to feel better. Very personable front office staff, excellent nurse, doctor. and radiology tech. I was seen immediately, and was happy to get my CAT scan done right there on premises. Quick read of the CAT scan, and I was on my way. They all made a difficult time easy to cope with. My strongest endorsement of this ER model, and this terrific staff and facility.Anonymous AnalystAre you insane, stitches for a cut on my wifes $8,000. That is simply criminal. They also tried to balance bill as an in-network provider to the insurance company which is unlawful. Be careful dealing with them, I specifically asked for charges before entering the establishment and they would not answer me.Awin QadirFor UC-health on 104th and chambers: Unless you are dying I would never go here! I took in my 9 month old after he had been crying all night for what I assumed was an ear infection. I googled urgent cares near me and this was the first thing to pop up. I rushed to get him in for them to confirm it was an ear infection an to write a prescription. A month later I am being charged 1800 (with insurance) for the 10 min visit and 200 for the actual doctor charge. Absolutely absurd and unethical. You are not a hospital and your emergency room is not within a hospital. And even if you were in the past the most I’ve gotten charged for a quick ER visit has been 500, that’s without insurance. I will get a lawyer before I pay this just because of how unethical you guys are. You should be ashamed of yourselves, absolutely disgusting what you guys are trapping people into.Melissa D⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedCan’t thank you all enough. I had taken my daughter in early morning and everyone was very professional and caring. Thanks for all your help and the card in the mail to my daughter. We greatly appreciate that. Big Thanks to Dr. Kevin McGlothlen for comforting my daughter and reassuring her that everything would be okay. Thanks to Julie ,Gordan Ashley, Yesenia, Stacy and will for all your professionalism.Tammy Parise⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedFirst Choice ER was truly our first choice the day my husband was in a car accident. We were greeted and seen immediately upon arrival. The staff was friendly, caring and concerned. We had no wait time at all. Matter of fact, we were in and out in 30 minutes with our care needs satisfied. The doctor’s follow-up call the next day showed First Choice investment in my husband’s well being. Love the convenience of a free standing ER, with great service. Give First Choice a try and you won’t be disappointed.Chanel Hannan⭐️⭐️I took my three year old here with a high fever and wanted to get her tested for the flu. The male nurse that helped us was very snippy with her because she was scared and crying and didn’t want to cooperate. He just made the situation worse by being obviously frustrated. I would imagine being a nurse you’d have some sort of compassion. The doctor who checked her out was really nice and informative. They tested for the flu and gave some Tylenol and sent us home. when I got home I decided to check out their reviews. I wanted to see if others had issues with rude nurses. I found they have a bunch of bad reviews and were on the pricey side. So I expected to get a high bill. A month later we got our dr bill around 500.00 and paid it, then a couple months later get billed 1650.00 for the rest. I expected this but figured I’d call to see if they offer any one time discounts since I was going to dip into saving to pay it off at once. The couple of times I’ve paid for any major health bills with hospitals they have always given a once a year discount if you pay in full. Even if it just 5% off. This facility does not. Which is kinda ridiculous considering how expensive health care is. They can’t knock off a little bit? So if there’s a next time I’ll make sure if I’m going to pay that much I’ll at least go somewhere with nice nurses.Pacific Warrior⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedThis place was fantastic. Very courteous and professional staff. The building was clean. Doctor on call was very knowledgeable and kind to our sick little boy. We were in and out very quickly and able to get on with the day. They even followed up with a phone call and post card a few of days later to make sure he was ok. We left impressed and will continue to tell people what a great experience we had here.mike henderson⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI took my husband in to see if he had the flu because not one doctors office in the area could see him until the end of the month. We were greeted immediately and taken back to be seen right away. The staff was very friendly and made the trip there very quick. If I need medical attention again we would definitely go back!Mck a⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedWe were able to sign in from home before arriving, which made things easier once we got there. Our daughter needed some x-rays, and we found the Doctor, nurse and tech. to be very professional and accommodating. Our daughter has some severe physical needs and they were able to work with her to get the images they needed. The facility was clean and appeared well equipped. We were in and out pretty quickly. The only negative was that they didn’t take her secondary insurance (medicaid), but they were very upfront with this when we first arrived, so it was not a surprise. We also received a phone call the next day from a doctor, checking in to see how she was doing.Catherine Steinmetz⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER Recommendedwent in cause I was having a really hard time breathing.. When I walked in the place was very clean and organized. The staff was very knowledgeable, super nice and friendly.. It was a very short time in the waiting room and within ten minutes I felt like I had already seen the doctor who was awesome.. They make u feel very comfortable and if I ever need to go to the ER again this will be the only place I go from now on. All I can say is thank you so much to the staff and Doctor u guys rock….Whitney Mundell⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedFirst Choice Emergency Room was a great choice for me when I encountered an emergency. The entire building was clean and quiet. The staff was friendly, efficient, and quick. They even called a few days later to check on my injury and sent a thank you note in the mail! Hopefully, I won’t need to use them again, but if any of my friends or family encounter an emergency situation I would absolutely recommend First Choice Emergency Room in Commerce City!!Hillary Lockman⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedTook my son there after he had an allergic reaction and broke out with hives all over. The staff as knowledgeable and super helpful and gave me all the right info. In addition we were in and out very quickly, and the price was beyond reasonable, which was very much appreciated as we are self employed and don’t have insurance coverage. I will return if ever needed.Jeanine Chrisman⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedWent in to be checked after a car accident. The staff and attending physician were all very compassionate and kind. I received fast and thorough care. I highly recommend this very nice new facility and it’s staff of professionals.LVI went in because I had horrible ear pain. The staff was quick and friendly. The doctor said I didn’t have an ear infection and that it would go away after a few days. Well it didn’t, it got worse. I went to an ENT and I did have an ear infection. They gave me antibiotics and now I feel much better. Don’t come here for ear problems. Looking at other reviews seems they don’t have a clue when it comes to ear pain. Just wait out the pain and see a specialist.Erich HackmannThe employees at this location do not care about patient health or well being and I will gladly drive to a further ER the next time I need emergency care. I visited this location after talking to a nurse on the UC Health hotline on whether to go to an ER or a UC for abdominal pain and internal bleeding and was told to go to an ER as they would need to do blood work and imagery for my symptoms. I went to this ER as it was the closest to my home and I was met with the worst service I’ve ever encountered. The nurse was rude and unprofessional and did not express the least bit of concern for me as a patient. He asked me three times why I was there when my answers of abdominal pain and internal bleeding, as well as my GI appointment being over a week away were apparently insufficient. The doctor also expressed a lack of concern and didn’t feel like doing blood work and would be unable to do imagery because the CT was broken. I was discharged almost immediately and rushed out the door with a prescription for generic prilosec and was told to keep my appointment with my GI which was over a week away. This interaction did absolutely nothing to help with my symptoms and I still have to wait over a week to see my GI to get any kind of relief. I was rushed out the door so fast that the nurse who was at the front desk didn’t even have time to run my insurance. I had to stand around while she rapidly tried to enter everything in and then rushed me out the door. It has been almost a month since my visit and now I’m receiving a bill for $2,000 because the nurse at the front doesn’t’ know how to run insurance properly. This is by FAR the worst emergency room I’ve ever been in an will gladly drive further away to get better service.Pamela Olesen⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedIt really takes a lot to impress me to the point of five stats but I had an excellent experience last night. Went in for severe pain in my chest. They did a complete evaluation and didn’t have to bill for anything. Also received a follow up phone call from the physician today to ensure I was feeling better and had no pain. Friendly, quick response and eval, and good bedside manner. Thumbs up!Javier VallesReally Unpleasant experience, and on top of that we got a bill for $1500, my health insurance did not covered the visit because the staff did not considerated to be and emergency and my wife was diagnoatic with pneumonia. Laughable!!!!!victoria lundmarkThe doctor here was asking my sister her medical history AFTER she had been there for 2 hours and her symptoms and pain level were still visably unmanaged. When I asked the doctor what else they would do for her, his answer was to send her home with a recommendation that honestly was flabbergasting. We left there with her blood pressure and retching out of control and had to go to another emergency room. That is a prime example of why doctors should be required to take continuing education. So that outdated stigmas won’t prevent people from getting the care that they need just because they admitted to smoking an occasional jointSofiya ErmanIf I could give 0 stars, I would. This was the worst experience ever and have actually had to be seen for trauma from that experience since I left. I would never return. I am now having to get therapy for the trauma that I experienced from this place. Doctors were not helpful but instead were rude and condescending.Nolan WoodruffVery unprofessional. Instead of doing what needed to be done the doctor kept saying. Oh we can run your bill up as high as you want and laughing. Ended up needing emergency surgery hours after being released. Would not reccomend using this ER location.Eduardo GomezMy english is not the best and very sorry for that but i really need to let everyone know my experience with this criminals THIS IS A RIPOFF or SCAM with authorization from the STATE OF COLORADO and the COMMERCE CITY OFFICE to ripoff people every single day. And nobody do anything agains this thiefs i when in on a sunday morning last month with a little stabbing pain under the lower edge of the ribcage and i have that for over 10 years and sometimes it gets worse but usually goes away after few hours but i workout at the gym that day and the pain got worse so i when in with this guys and first they won’t help my at all but soon after they findout that i have a good insurance the nurse and recepcionist totaly change the actitud with trying to be nice but i know what i have and what the pain it is coming from and i mention to the DR but they insist and try to convence me to run a different type of test like blood, urine, cholesterol test, they left me in a room for 2 hours conected to a diffent machine and put me into the MRI and run a bunch of test and after few hour they make me sign a document that show that i authorized all those test … and before i left that place they told me to take some tylenol to get rid of the pain … jajajaja what a trip with this PROFESSIONAL THIEFS. I will put this review also with BBB because people need to know about this THIEFS BY THE WAY MY BILL WAS OVER 3000 DOLLARS So be really careful when you go in. don’t let then run all those bunch of test that you dont need because they dont care about us all they want is our money, they will want to throw you into all the expensive equipment so you pay for it and so they can pay probably in a week for all the expensive machines and to pay all the expesive careers, they go to school to be a DR and they become a really good thiefs, it is a shame and embarrassing for your self to go school for so many years and instead of being a Reportable professionals you become part of this scam. Very sad to see professionals that dont need to be part of this ripoff are supporting this type of business model. SORRY AGAIN FOR MY ENGLISH BUT HOPE YOU DID UNDERSTAND MY POINT AND DO NOT GO WITH THIS THIEFS.. Orana Wood⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedWhen I arrived I was seen right away! In and diagnosed immediately. Given meds to get me started! The Staff was caring and informative. I would recommend!Mary Ebert⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedMy son had a playground injury in which his arm and shoulder were broken. He was in a lot of pain when we entered the building. They got him into a room and took care of him right away, not at all what I had expected since you can spend hours in a hospital ER before getting seen. All the staff there were very nice, knowledgeable and thorough in their examination. The doctor showed us the x-ray and explained the type of fracture he had. It was a great experience!Laura Rogina⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER Recommendedi went in for a sprained knee injury. They gave wonderful service and i didn’t have to pay anything for them to do a medical examination because there were no signs of needing an xray. I went home with an ace wrap and my knee was better within a couple of days of doing what they told me to do. Wonderful staff and a nice, quick process. Thank you to all of you! 🙂Melissa McFarlinThey got me in quickly…. checking out was a wait but due to waiting on X-Rays. Nurse Deb was nice and helpful. Doc never checked my ears, just listen to my breathing.. Come to find out I have Influenza A…. would of known that if they would of done a more through job! Nurse was nice… just disappointed that I knew I was not feeling well.. I am weak and tired… Asked for money as a deposit before I left. Wanted $250… Never had that before at others Urgent Cares. Initially, the flu may seem like a common cold with a runny nose, sneezing and sore throat. But colds usually develop slowly, whereas the flu tends to come on suddenly. And although a cold can be a nuisance, you usually feel much worse with the flu. Common signs and symptoms of the flu include: Fever over 100 F (38 C) Aching muscles, especially in your back, arms and legs Chills and sweats Headache Dry cough Fatigue and weakness Nasal congestion So,I paid them money for NOTHING and I was warned not to go to this place to begin with… VERY disappointed.Briana MarleeceThe doctor is kind and caring Lori D. Attempted to deny me healthcare And wouldn’t allow me to be billed for treatment I personally think it was race because i am a black woman she was passive from the moment I walked in the door while I was in excurtiating pain she did not care atallBruce Penfold⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedTook our daughter in for a wrist xray after a skating accident. The staff was very professional and thorough. We were in and out in less than an hour. Would recommend!jaki ѕмιтн⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI walked in at 7:30 am after waking to my 5 year old with a extremely swollen face. A panicked stay at home mommy was greeted politely & within a timely manner we were in getting treated! i couldnt believe how fast they took care of my son! Dr was great, so sweet, asked him all kinds of questions about his school & made him laugh to forget about the pain. walking out of there i felt as if they loved my children as much as i did 🙂Eva Bauer⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedWe were able to get in right away. The staff is professional and efficient. They answered all our questions, gave us additional material to read and had us out the door in under an hour!Mark Barcelo⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedMy wife was immediately seen as a result of a cycling accident. The care she received was outstanding. The staff was professional and attentive.Connie Fagala⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedWas only there for 1 hour. Nice folks. They gave me a referral for an orthopedist. Would recommend this location.Michelle Lancaster⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI had to take my 6 year old in late on a Sunday night. She had a high fever and back pain. I was concerned she may have a kidney infection. We were seen right away. The nurse and Dr were great at calming my daughter and diagnosing us quickly.Don Emenim⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedGreat team, great service! Very friendly team. Very neat and clean environment. They crew made my family very relaxed.Jamie BeardThe facility was clean and new. The physician and staff were wonderful! The reason for 1 star review is the amount I am being charged! UC Health is a bait and switch company! I was having extreme pain in my right eye. My husband insisted I get it looked at and took me to the UC Health close to us. I paid the $300 up front believing this was the flat fee. It turned out that I had a scratch on my cornea that would heal on its own. A few days later, I was back to normal. A month later the bills started rolling in, $1,626.00 for the physician fee and $1,561.14 for a facility charge. Be warned about the number of bills you will receive after being seen here!!!Christina Campbell⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI took my husband here for a possible ear infection. The staff here was wonderful. We didn’t have to wait a ridiculous amount of time like in a hospital ER. The front desk was friendly and answered all of our questions about billing. The nurse and doctor were fabulous. I would go here again if I needed to. Thank you to FCER for all of your help.Lisa H⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedFCER had a friendly, knowledgeable staff that took care of my husbands asthama attack very quickly. No wait getting in to see the doc. This is so much better than going to a hospital ER and waiting for hours to be seen. Neat, clean and professionally staffed. The next time we need an ER – this is where we will go.Megan January⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedVery friendly staff. Dr Ferrara was very kind and knowledgeable. A quick process and even called a couple days later to check up. Strongly recommended!Abdulrahman Bouhamra⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI am writing this review to especially thank all the staff members at the Emergency Room. My father and I took my little sister to the ER after she was feeling unwell. I was surprised with how easy the procedures were and how friendly the staff was with us from the moment we stepped in up to two days after our visit. In fact, even my little sister’s worry went all away with the time thanks to the professional treatment of all the staff. Thus, I would like to end with special thanks to Cassie, Laura Lee, Dr. Kelly Gaham, and last but not least Liz from the front office.Kristi Thornton⭐️⭐️⭐️I was disappointed in the care of some of the medical professional that took care of me =0( One of the nurses made me feel really comfortable and even just hung out with me. He certainly made my experience rate it as an okay. Otherwise I would have rated it lower. So thank you to the one nurse that took care of me and was constantly checking in on me, you rock and made me feel specialAbby Huber⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedThey were very friendly, knowledgeable and so fast for an emergency room. I will definitely go back if the situation ever arises.Amber Padilla⭐️⭐️⭐️My son came in with a head injury. We had to wait for about 20 minutes in the waiting room, which with toddler twins in tow, was VERY difficult since it’s a very small room and right there by the automatic front doors, so that was fun…however once we got back to the pediatrics room the doctor was very quick and we were in and out of there within an hour.
