Before you go to UCHealth Emergency Care, you may want to know what the people who have already gone to this Fort Collins emergency room think.
Vicki Patterson⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI wish to thank the emergency room staff for their fabulous care Sunday night. You were all So kind and helped me recover with your kindness and expertise.Kaitlyn HeardtMy fiance has Trigeminal Neuralgia, and we went into the ER here because the pain was so bad, she was physically sick and her numerous medications weren’t helping. Upon checking in, one of the nurses joked how, “she had a headache too”. Trigeminal Neuralgia is not a headache or migraine. It effects the trigeminal nerve in the head causing constant intense pain in the head and face, and will most likely require surgery. What “headache” have you known to need surgery to get rid of? Very unprofessional and rude. And to top it off, the doctor she had talked to her like a small child. We’re honestly worried to go back because we don’t want to be treated like that again.K R⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI went into urgent care after falling and seriously spraining my ankle rock climbing. I came in on Memorial Day and was seen by Dr. Tim Hutchison. He was so friendly and knowledgeable and helped me get squared away very quickly. The nurses and other people who saw me were also very helpful. Overall, it was as good of an experience as it could’ve been considering my ankle was throbbing in pain the whole time.Luke GrattanAn ambulance driver threatened my friend with a bill for a ride she didn’t ask for despite the fact his colleague has guaranteed ut would be free. She left in fear, leaving her to fend for herself despite her drunkenness. I hope this driver loses his job due to poor patient treatment.Abigail KirbyTook a friend to the emergency room last night, they refused to give an IV and take blood when requested – and extremely necessary. The nurses we’re rude and took 5 minutes to come when call button was pushed. Will not be coming back to this emergency room.Beth Reviewer⭐️⭐️⭐️I get GOOD and BAD here. The ER and my Family practice doc, neurologist and the walk in clinic are great!!! Some of the doctors really NEED to keep up to date with government studies and medications. 2 of the doctors I have been seen by seem to not keep themselves up to date with the CDC reports. This is why you must self advocate. Doctors are just humans too. If they don’t keep their education up, they fail us. When you visit doctors here please double check with your meds and interactions.Grey MaceyWorst hospital experience. They were rude and hostile. I have been to emergency rooms before and never have had such a traumatic experience. They do not care for the patient and their needs. They are robotic and impersonal which is unfortunate when it comes to providing health care. The metal detector stops you at the door and will not let you in even if you are in crisis. No one takes your vitals they just tell you to sit down. I came in for an issue about my foot and they asked me about mental health history and other problems and when I declined to answer she would not continue with my care and said it was necessary. I asked another doctor about this later and they said that it was not necessary. They attack you and are rough, which it is understandable to be fast in urgent care but it was overwhelming and after I asked them to listen to me and slow down a little take it step by step they told me it didn’t matter. Long story short the hospital visit was weird, scary, rude, unprofessional and so much more.Leslie hillI am not a person to go to the ER unless I knew something was wrong. I fell off my bike which I immediately swelled. I waited a whole week before going. The only reason I went was because I had a red spot devolop with fever in it…which are signs of blood clot. They took an x-ray and that’s it. X-rays do not tell if it’s a blood clot. I was blown off because they were so busy. Really disappointed…I mean I realize it was busy but what if this is a clot and I die? No one even really looked at it except to touch the bruised area. I do love the hospital part though.Kerry Dougherty⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Full service facility with trauma unit access. Professional staff and good service. Reasonably quick to get you in and out.MagicMarshN80⭐️⭐️Hospital seems efficiently clean and okay, the staff of the ER although is something else. I went in for severe pain and vomiting and had to wait a ridiculously long time just to see the nurse or doctor even after I had been hooked up to IV. I witnessed and overheard my male nurse who’s name I won’t say talk with another male nurse about where he had been this whole time and he said he was trying to “chat up” a new “hot” female nurse. Ridiculous.. I was throbbing in pain and had to listen to this and not to mention the desk where all the doctors and nurses were, we’re talking causally and joking with laughter I could hear. Not something you want to be around when you severely need help. It really seemed like a joke of a hospital. Did I mention I had to wait 15minutes for them to answer my call button? I am not a needy person but when you’re sick you’re sick.. I recommend going somewhere else this place was a joke.A Google User⭐️⭐️⭐️Well, my experiences with the ER has been great.. the main complaint is that the doctors put false information in their notes on me when I was there. They told me all this stuff claiming I stated it, when really I didn’t.Omar H⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedThe crew of doctors and nurses and even the reception are all friendly, Janitorial generally excellent, beds new and clean, the service is of high quality, ER of the same high quality , from a year ago I visiting the hospital for myself and for my parents and sister, I find welcoming and professional,we get out of the hospital or ER and we are satisfied with services in general. The wonderful thing the ER up to date with a family doctor within 24 hours only and this is really wonderful, thanks PVH.Anita GodkinVery uncaring and lying emergency room they turned into! Years ago, no one lied. I got lied to today while in the E.R. I won’t ever trust UCHealth again!!!!!Vidal López Bravo⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Very good, except per the anesthetist. She did feel really bad my wife, really poor professional.
