Before you go to UCHealth Greeley Emergency and Surgery Center, you may want to know what the people who have already gone to this Greeley emergency room think.
Michelle Miller⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedStaff was exceptional; from check in through discharge. I was dreading a doc/vr visit due to our insurance situation. We were treated with great respect and relatively quick. Not that I want to go back, but it would be our first choice.Allyson Georgeson⭐️⭐️⭐️I give this three stars because there is never a wait which is great, however, I took my 12 month old daughter in at 3am because she was in excruciating pain. I was concerned that she had RSV and that her bilateral ear infection still wasn’t healed after her first round of antibiotics. Well the doctor decided just to look at her ears and write a prescription for a new antibiotic. I said, I’m really concerned about RSV and he said “well she probably has it but there’s nothing you can do for it.” So they didn’t even check for it and sent us on our way. Later that day I took her to urgent care because her cough was getting worse and they actually tested her for RSV and influenza and what do you know, she came back positive for RSV. She ended up in the hospital the next day because of her breathing and is now on a nebulizer at home. I’m really glad I followed my gut because this doctor obviously didn’t care. Don’t recommend, won’t return.Christine Hutton⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedDave was admitted with a temp of 104.7. ER doctor was very quick to see him. As his situation has gone on his care has been superb..nurses have kept him clean and comfortable. Dr’s have called me every morning with updates. The room was spotless.Neil Ferrell⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedWOW, talk about world class health care…they nailed it! Unfortunately my family was involved in a car accident on I-25, nothing incredibly serious but we wanted to get checked out due to my parents and kids being involved. The front desk was very helpful and quick. They handled the groups of 6 walking in like it was nothing. Once back, UCHealth ambulance crew took vitals and were friendly and caring. We were able to see a PA that was incredible! He was very thorough and listened to what we had to say rather than pushing us out the door. The nursing staff took time with my kids and even did a free checkup on my daughters stuffed animal piggy. I cant say enough good about this UCHealth location. They truly knocked it out of the ball park!William Larson⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedExcellent professional care. I was very pleased.Sherri Cholas⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedThis place is great from the front desk to the Dr s and nurses to the imaging personnel you are treated with respect from all. Clean well taken care of building.MysteriousRoadsSo here is a story. I went in thinking I had the flu. Had all the symptoms and was all huh maybe they will catch it in the 24 hour period and I’ll heal faster or whatever right. Well I go in and the doctor guy does all the tests and tells me oh it’s not the flu. It’s only like the flu. But unlike the flu they could do nothing and it would go away a few days later. WELL. A few days later I couldn’t breath at all because something was causing me to not be able to breath. I mean I sounded like Darth Vader guys. And I had someone take me to a different place because by then I was fairly sure it was not harmless and would “go away in a few days.” They tested me and told me I had had the flu the whole time. And that it was really dangerous for me not to have known. They had to do a breathing treatment and oxygen and antibiotics. The whole flu shebang. Needless to say I’m not super happy with them considering the whole not being able to breath at all and thinking I was going to die thing. I’m not a medical expert, not even close, all I can do is give a shot to a horse. So maybe there is another explaination. Or some sort of thing. The people were fairly kind. And we were treated quickly I think. So that’s good.Frank Johnson⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI don’t like hospitals and I don’t like doctors because they got needles but this emergency room is the one of the two emergency rooms I’ve ever been to the respects their patients everybody works there are greatIvan RiosI walked in feeling super nauseous, stomach ache and all. Didn’t get prescribed any medicine by Dr. Bryan K Beck… didn’t get hooked up to an IV, didn’t get any of my vital signs checked to see if I was ok. Instead, he caught an attitude and told me “maybe you have the flu, I already told you once”. And left me at that. Worst Dr. I have ever met. Definitely a 0 on customer service. Way to treat your patients docSarah BirLast night I was in severe pain from my IUD so I went to the ER. The dr I got was a joke. His name is Matthew Garman, and probably the laziest, most insensitive dr I have ever dealt with. He told me that they don’t deal with IUD removal in emergency rooms and to “take some Advil and go to planned parenthood or something” because there was nothing he could do, which I know was not the case. This facility needs to re evaluate how they care for their patients because not only is this a huge breach in professionalism, it seems as though I was being discriminated against due to the fact that I have Medicaid and/or because I have a chronic disability.Elizabeth StanleyIt was horrible the Doctor who treated me any how was horrible, he couldn’t wait to get me out of there. I had valid complaints do you it mattered it should have.Joy CorleyThere admitting my husband. I asked for him to stay in Greeley. I’m sitting in the room now trying to figure out how this is all going to work out. But since they want to keep the money in uchealth instead of keeping our family together there going to send him Loveland. I will never come here again. I will sit at NCMC and wait hours then to be separated from my husband.Virna RodriguezI attended this place to get an ultrasound as a referral from the women’s clinic… Service was fast and to the point, I saw my growing baby. I dont know who got my information wrong to begin with so the billing department “attempted” to contact me via mail once! It was returned mail because my address was wrong… Then they claim they called me but never left me a voicemail so I could call back. Just like many others I work from 8 to 6 and dont have immediate access to my phone during that time. And now I find out I was placed under collection for that service. Now, I wonder how in the world were they able to bill my insurance with wrong information. They also sent the same info to the collection agency, so they were trying to “send” me letters as well and got return mail! Now I have a reduction of 30 points on my credit score for this mistake. I will pay my dues, because its my responsibility Im not saying I wont but Ive worked so hard yo keep my score up and get a house now this is affecting me because of your billing department’s mistake. Make it right! In response to your reply, I did contact the billing department before posting this review. Thats how I learned my information was wrong. All I got from a representative was to handle the situation with the collection agency because they had my account under collection already and there was nothing else they could do except to correct my address…. Thanks but your response doesn’t help! Do you know how irritating this is. BTW my name is VIRNA not VIMA. Thanks!Gramgrams⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI went and my husband. They took care of my psoraiassis and ringworm on the side of my calf. My husband finally all these years go the meds for his tetter. We found they told we both had that tardive dyskensia. Then will be there when my fabro myalgia bother me in my hand again. Amend.Seth StroupDr Brown sent me home with a bulging disc, denied my request for MRI, came to another hospital found out I am at serious risk of losing all blatter control, and feeling from the waste down. Nurses were rude. I may have a lawsuit against them.Ed CrespoBeen here multiple times, all the nurses are very rude all the time. Didnt allow me to accompany my pregnant wife during an ultrasound because I’m Mexican-American. I can tell they enjoyed the power trip.Christina GutierrezWAS and I repeat was really excited to go here and not to a banner facility, but after my daughter gave birth here Ik was anything but impressed. First off everybody’s confused, which is understandable it’s a new place, but my daughter had rude nurses that were very short with her and when I would try to ask questions they just ignored me. Not compassionate either and it wasnt just one nurse either it was receptionist, nurses oh and the Entitlement of the dr.when I spoke to her she treated me as if I were less than. Her attitude was like I’m a Dr. why are you talking to me. Then when the baby did come she was 37 weeks so early term baby. My daughter was bombarded with child protective services, drug testing her and baby, with the most ridiculous reason its protocol. No I believe that’s getting that treatment cause were brown folk and our last name. With that being said my daughter did all the bs they asked of her, and she and the baby were released the next day. Horrible birthing unit, no compassion will not be returning their for any reason.Brianna Chavez⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI visited twice for blood work and I was in and out of the door within 15 minutes. The lab is wonderful and Mary is very kind. I would recommend this facility for lab work to everyone. I did not visit the ER so I can’t speak on that.linus mese⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI came in because I had a blister on my foot. That would latter get infected. I came in to get it checked out. I’m in the back room while typing this. I came in at 10:00pm and it’s now 12:04pm and they haven’t even started anything just took my information and left came back with a papers saying the charges I gotta be up early at 6am and I’m still sitting here my girlfriend told her how much longer is it gunna take. She would reply we are busy sorry ….. I came to this one because I was told they are fast with everything and they get you in and out really fast within the hour I was told It’s now 12: 19 I seen people(patients) leave their room and go somewhere I’m sure they go home but after I seen DR W (notsure what his name is don’t remember) he explained that their specialty is being fast and being nice it’s 12:37 … it’s now 1258 and dr Willis is so nice and extremely smart.. I low key just wanna go home here at 1:02am waiting on anaoboticks to leave Mandy was very nice I hope that’s her name Thank u guys for helping me and I really hope this infection goes away Thank u guys for helping meDean WilsonNo weapons at the NorthGate location. While violating our 2nd amendment, I can appreciate no weapons allowed. However, they wanted to “disarm” me of my 2″ pocket knife! They wouldn’t even let me walk 10′ to the desk to cancel my appointment without “disarming” me. I simply left and took my knife to a friendlier UCH lab and got blood drawn with no incident.Sandi Taylor⭐️⭐️⭐️Used the diagnostic services (blood test, ultrasound and chest x-ray). Staff was great, professional and helpful. My only complaint is the pricing. I looked up Ultrasound pricing, internet said it should be between $200-400 max, it was $818. No one can explain why it is so expensive, “that’s what it costs” they said. I have no insurance so it is out of pocket for me. They refused to give any type of discount for a cash payment of the bill. The entire medical system is broken.Bri youngWent there for my labs, called me three weeks later saying that they had lost them and wouldn’t be able to give me results without having me redo them. Went in to ask what happened and to get a second kit and the woman at the desk was extremely rude and seemed angry I needed to get a new kit.Amanda Gabriel⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedThey were very busy but got my son in right away, the doctor was beyond my expectations. Staff was very sweet.Kim LechnirThe physician there on the 28thof January, evening shift, short, short blonde hair. She was the rudest Dr. I have ever come across. Her bed side manner was awful! Very short and condescending. Greeley is already a miserable disgusting city, so I shouldn’t be surprised they employ the same type of staff to go along with the city. Do yourself a favor and go to an actual hospital, like NCMC. She made my experience miserable. I will NEVER go back here, even if my life depends on it.Cleveland Dawgpound⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedOne week ago today I was rushed to Unhealth Greeley Urgent Care by my wife. I was having such pain in my abdomen that I was in tears. I was welcomed with a smile by check in desk. After waiting less than 3 minutes I was brought back by Brenda EMT nurse who made me feel comfortable. Erik, and Dr. Willis were also other team members that helped me diagnosis what was wrong. Come to find out my appendix was ready to burst !!!! I was then rushed to Medical Center of the Rockies for emergency surgery. Dr. Chabari (hopefully spelled right) was surgeon waiting for me. His team there was fantastic. They kept me comfortable, and also kept my wife informed and how things went. The doctor told my wife that I also had a hernia that was in bad shape and took care of that too !!!! Outstanding medical team !!! HUGE KUDOS to Brenda EMT nurse for making me feel comfortable, and helping me and my family cope through this. Thank you all so much for everything. Scott L.Elite Family CompanionsUSE CAUTION! Nurses were great, the doctor however was impatient, didn’t want to listen, and rude. He was more concerned with the fact that my PCP is affiliated with Banner and not UCHealth then he was about my condition. However, he did not even let me talk long enough to let him know that my specialist doctors ARE with UCHealth. In the end the doctor released me still in sever pain, as he thought I should be at Banner instead. I will never go here again!Les KilcreaseRan me through multiple unnessary test costing thousands of dollars. All test were negative of course. Already knew the problem but decided to run extra test even when I complained about these unnnessary test. Staff was unprofessional in my opinion and provided me with inaccurate resulting in no help at all. My Dr. was even blown away and perplexed at their test and conclusion. I will not be going back to this facility which is sad because I do like UC Health as a whole.John Minney⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedThis place is amazing they get you in and out very friendly and professional like Lynn. And Val they took care of me today I tried to cut my thumb off by Accidental and they took good care of me thanks a lot lynn and Val I really appreciate it they are true professionals at their job we are all blessed to have these two ladies working in the medical fieldAnnie CFraudulent Charges. My daughter was seen in the ER by Colleen August in March. I received a large bill, and when I asked what we were being billed for I was told that it was for “headache, dizziness, giddiness, and abdominal pain. The only thing we should have been charged for is abdominal pain. My daughter is not old enough to even say if she has a headache, and isn’t old enough to know what dizziness is. I asked for an itemized statement to be mailed to me. I have left a voicemail for Emily the nurse manager and am waiting for a callback. In the mean time I am going to get her medical records and contact an attorney if this bill is not adjusted accordingly. I will also notify the NHCAA, and discuss the bill with the Chief financial officer. I am also going to notify my insurance company that these codes are incorrect and they were billed with fraud. If the adjustments are made I will be happy to provide a 5 star review.JessTook my dad to be seen. Nurse’s are very rude. Doctor was horrible. I ended up taking my dad else where. WILL NEVER COME BACK HERE AGAIN!! Plus lady checking people in was chewing gum and was unprofessional. I would not recommend going there.Art Battelo⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedGood placeCasey ReevesI was sent here by my orthopedic doctor for a CT scan of my ankle. My appointment was at 8:00am. I was out and back in my car by 8:20am. My first impression is that they were fast and efficient. Qualities I generally appreciate. Six weeks later I received the bill. $2,219 for three images of my ankle. Insurance won’t cover it because I haven’t met my deductible. $2,200 for a ten minute procedure!!!!! Unreal………. Some would argue that the CT machine costs two million. I’ve worked in a machine shop with a CNC laser that cost 1.5 mil and our rates weren’t a fraction of what UC Health charges. This is consumer gouging at it’s worst and it should be illegal. Healthcare it this country is an absolute disaster. The healthcare providers and drug companies have become greedy profit driven scoundrels….. I would be ashamed to work in such a place……Andrea Deines⭐️⭐️Nurses, very rude. A little kindness can go a very long way… Appreciate the Doctor…only one with manners an very polite! Front desk person’s were very welcoming as well. Nurses also like to leave the patient with a bell that won’t stop going off, rather than check why it’s actually going off. Or check on patient, for that matter.Brandon BarmettlerWow talk about lack of care, diligence, proffesionalism and attention to the patients problem itself. I had knee surgery and tore a muscle in the back inside of my thigh. They had me sit there for hours just to say my knee is swollen and they can give me ibuprofen. My knee has been swollen for 3 weeks… I had surgery…. I felt the muscle pop and immediate pain which did not stop and I continue to feel the entire way home and here I am still Sitting here with it. They did not even address the area where the injury clearly happened but like star struck children only focused on my acl which had no physical discomfort. They literally did absolutely nothing but waste 4 hours of my time and state the obvious. It’s disgusting this is where our health care has gone depending on your insurance and bank roll.Mattison AskewTheres one star ratings for a reason.–Awful staff. Inconsiderate, rude, lazy. The doctor was the worst with such an ironic name, doctor apostle. Ahahah. He treated me like a second class citizen and accused me of lying to him. I would imagine he had to get back to his office so he could continue doing nothing at all.Brittany Andrews⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedUnfortunately my family has been here a couple times this week, but it was the best ER experience anyone in my family has ever endured. The staff is helpful and prompt and it didn’t take longer then an hour each visit. I would recommend this ER for any emergency needs.Yosef McDonaldI would never go back here for medical care, no matter what the emergency was. They can’t take down information that you give them like your address and insurance, because they hire totally incompetent idiots. Then they’ll send you to collections because they never billed your insurance company and the bill they sent you was addressed to an incomplete (undeliverable) address.teresa beckley⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedFast admitsAshley WagnerThe ladies were to busy talking to realize someone was outside waiting for a ride for 20 minutes. Then they ask me “do you know your at the emergency room?” I said “yah, tell me of an urgent care that is open and I’ll gladly go there instead!”Mandie LorgeDid not have a great experience here and since our experience have heard of many others that say the same. My young son came in with a mouth wound and it was stitched. Went in to get them out and we were charged to take out the stitches, then the nurse couldn’t remove the stitches easily because whoever stitched then did it wrong, causing much more pain. No antibiotics were prescribed which then lead to an infection in his mouth. Our primary care physician said antibiotics sound have been prescribed with a mouth wound without a question. Had to fight with the billing department after all of that. Will not go back.Judy Baby G Gamboa⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Been here on several occasions for my kids, husband, and myself. I have noticed during late nights the service is great, but during business hours not so great. Never really had anything to complain about til I went during the day. I noticed the wait was longer like they were taking their sweet time, some staff was rude, and I had never seen that before. Overall it’s been okay better than waiting 3 to 5 hours at NCMC.Victoria SperlExtremely long waits, overfilled waiting roomlaurie caseyTerrible, subpar care. Had a nurse that yelled at the man in the next room because he couldn’t drink water with ice in it. Then scolded my mother because she had the flu and told her “they can’t fix all of her problems,” and they wanted her out of there. Doctor was lacking. Overall, would never return to this place. I got better care at Ncmc’s ER. Sad that this is part of UC health system. Nurse Becky is the only one there was any sense.Katie PetersenI’ve gone here twice and both times I was diagnosed wrong and had to go to a different clinic to get the proper treatment. When the other clinic asked them to send my records over it took them THREE HOURS. After they read my file they discovered they diagnosed me with something, never told me and gave me the wrong medication to treat it. The second time I went in I should have known. I had a series of labs done and they called me a few days later to tell me my labs were contaminated and that I wasn’t that sick when I was running a very high fever. I’m not sure if their staff just doesn’t care about their patients or what but I don’t recommend this place to anyone.Nicole St.ClairI gave a star because the nurses were kind and the ultrasound tech was amazing; however, the PA left a lot to be desired. While he was kind, he either couldn’t read, or chose not to. I was treated for my pain (for that I am grateful) but after a CT, I was told I no longer had kidney stones so he didn’t know what was causing the pain….So he ordered a needless ultrasound. After 20 minutes of internal probing of an area of my body that wasn’t bothering me, I asked for a copy of the CT report, and what did I find? The two sentences that made up the entire CT report stated I do have a kidney stone. The labs also stated I had blood in my urine. I pointed this out to the nurse and she said “Well, it’s not obstructing anything so it shouldn’t hurt.” and handed me my discharge papers. Wow….just wow.Hooks337I will never use this ER again. I’d also reconsider using a UC Health Facility all together. I’d suggest anyone with any type of pain to stay clear of this facility. Dr. Daniel Arjuello was so arrogant and disrespectful. He has no respect for women in particular. I’ve never been treated so poorly. I walked in at an 8 on the pain scale walked out a 10. The route he wanted to treat me could have led to permanent damage or led to a coma. He wouldn’t confirm anything I was telling him with my PCP or Neurologist. He wouldn’t follow my PCP’s instructions on how to treat my condition because he thought he knew what was best. His lack of knowledge about my condition was evident. I ended up pulling my own IV and leaving before he could do any further harm. Stay clear of this ER and Doctor if you want someone to treat your emergency with professionalism and dignity. I hope no one ever has to go through what I did. I felt sorry for the Nurses because they did an excellent job and also tried talking to him. I’d suggest if this happens to you call your insurance company and file an appeal. No one should have to pay for lack of care.Brittany KoehlerVery poor experience. I was feeling disoriented/ faint at work. A very scary experience for me. I never go to the doctor or ER so when I do I know its bad. When we arrived I told them all of my symptoms. They checked my vitals took a urine sample that they didn’t even test and that was It. We were in and out in about 30mins. Long story short the next day I was still feeling those symptoms and decided to go to a different urgent care. That urgent care did a whole series of testing including urine sample, chest x-ray, EKG, and blood work. They found out I was extremely dehydrated with a bad UTI. I am very frustrated with this experience because the emergency room billed me for close to $1000 to check my vitals and a urine sample that they didn’t use and send me on my way, whereas the urgent care properly diagnosed me with a series of tests and only charged me about half of that. The quality of care at this emergency room was very poor. For as much as medical care costs these days, doctors need to be more thorough with their examinations to ensure patients are properly diagnosed and treated before sending them home.Brett KazaI went to this facility about a month or so ago for what i thought was a broken ankle. They did Xrays and found that there was not a break. They gave me an Ibuprofen and Oxycodan for the pain and told me to go home and ice it. A week or so later i got a bill in the mail for $1,273.22. a week after that i got another bill for $210.60 (ALL WITH INSURANCE). I called them and asked why it was so expensive. it was 800 for the emergency room, 400 for an xray, 30ish for the meds and 210.60 for the doctor. literally paying out the ass to have them tell me to go home and ice it…. i will NEVER be backDondi Gesick⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedThe facility is very clean, the physicians and staff were professional and quick to meet my needs.Carolyn D.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedMy son had a terrible accident, they treated him to the best of their knowledge and he was transferred to MCR. The staff was caring, knowledgeable and acted quickly.. Thank you to all the staff!Aaron JohnsonWorst emergency room I have ever been to. I have epilepsy, and started having what my on-call neurologist thinks are migraines as of Saturday night. This is something new for me that I have never experienced before and was concerned that it could be a possible complication or worsening of my epilepsy. Have not been seen by my inattentive neurologist as of yet. After five days of putting up with the pain (which, by the way, was the worst pain I have ever had short of breaking a bone), I decided to go to the E.R. I was told by my on-call neurologist that they could at least give me a prescription to help with the pain in the meantime while I am still waiting to see my neurologist. Mind you, this whole time, I am also having symptoms that I feel before I have a seizure along with the migraines. After waiting for an hour and a half, I was told that I have a tension headache and will be given some migraine medication and sent home. I was given medication that immediately made me sick. Called for help, was told someone would help me. Half an hour later had to call again for help and someone finally came to give me something to combat the nausea. I waited for two hours while the medication was supposed to “kick in” (which did absolutely nothing for my pain, by the way). When someone finally came back to check on me, I told them I was ok just so I could go home and take care of myself. Dr. Weber was extremely dissmissive, cold and uncaring. He didn’t even try to fake concern for my anxiety about this being a possible new complication or worsening of my epilepsy. Absolutely no tests were done to make sure that this wasn’t a possible new complication for me. Should also mention that nurse even mixed me up with another patient. After being there for five and a half hours I was offered no prescription for migraine medication to help with the pain and was told to follow up with my neurologist (which I had already told them I can’t get in to see till march) and my pcp (which I also told them I don’t have). During my time here another patient also freaked out and threatened to leave because he was not getting any care. I will never go here again.Aimee WilsonI work in registration at a hospital and I just witnessed the registration lady at the front door violate emtala. You are NOT supposed to ask about insurance or money before the patient sees a provider. Ever. I will be reporting that. Also, as a nursing student, the way the nurses act here makes me very sad. I have been around some fantastic nurses and this place has a bunch of burnt out rude nurses.
