UCHealth – Harmony Campus Reviews

Before you go to UCHealth – Harmony Campus, you may want to know what the people who have already gone to this Fort Collins emergency room think.

James Bliss⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI walked in expecting a wait of a hour or more. When the receptionist said it would take a about two minutes before they saw me, needless to say I was sceptical. However, I was seeing someone in two minutes, was treated great by everyone there and My prescriptions were ready to go when I left. Another small surprise was the cost of the medications three of them, under five dollars. Will recommend to anyone.Barbara Fiechtner⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedWhat a great team. I had the best care. I highly recommend UCHealth Emergency Room-Harmony Campus if you ever need emergency care.Emilea Burton⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedThe staff was kind, thorough, competent, and personable. I went there for food poisoning and they were able to start treatment right away to replace fluids and control my nausea. As a fellow medical professional, I appreciated their expertise and approach. I can’t thank them enough for helping me recover!Brittany Bollar⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI will always pay the ER copay to come here and be seen quickly and efficiently. They are always so tentative to any and all concerns that I come in with. Always recommend this facility to family and friends.Meghan Stewart⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI have never had a better ER experience before. It was incredibly fast, checked in and got called back before I could even pick a chair to wait in. I saw the nurse, the doctor, and the xray technician one after another. I was in and out with my antibiotics in hand in about 30-40 minutes. The pharmacist even ran my prescription through a discount finder before I came up to the window. If I can help it, I will never go to a different ER.Jim Thoke I was quite distressed when I heard my daughter was visiting the emergency room. When I arrived at the ER I was greeted…make that…not greeted by a cold cranky older woman who was absolutely no help and really had no desire to be helpful. (Thursday 9/5 12:15 PM) UCHealth you are a big machine with lots of smart people. When I think of adjectives to describe an Emergency Room receptionist, compassionate and concerned come to mind…not cold and cranky. Tune up your front line!!Casey S⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedPeople shouldnt expect medical professionals to charm you and be all happy, only to help the best they can. I didn’t get a ton of smiles but plenty of amazing care, warm blankets, dim lights, anything and everything I requested was met with no problems. they really took care of me. Thank you all!!!r culpepper⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedHas a late night visit. Fast check in, fast testing and pharmacy service was right there open for after hour care.Mary Carlson⭐️⭐️Staff members did not get the message about NO PERFUME. Left for parking lot and now sneezing uncontrollably. READ THE MEMO!alexis geiser⭐️⭐️⭐️I walked in and was helped immediately. The front staff and nurses were incredible. The doctor however did not seem to have any other agenda then getting me out of the bed. I was discharged with moderate blood in my urine and told i had a GI infection. Despite a nurse saying he believed a kidney stone caused an infection. I didnt appreciate how conflicting these views were. Especially when the rest of the staff seemed so great. My primary doctors are following up with the results because they didnt understand why more wasn’t done. Great place for basics, but dont treat it like anything more than a more equipped urgent care.Anon A. Miss Security for crisis services SHOULD NOT have involvement with patients unless there is a security issue. Witnessed unethical behavior as well as being subjected to more of the same. Very disappointed.Debora Nerad⭐️⭐️Mostly efficient but if you have experience with medical field and you ask questions they don’t appreciate it… But if you don’t have experience in the medical field they might not find out what’s wrong.. Obviously some providers are better… Keep asking questions about.. wow after reading everybody’s reviews you know what this place has got a ton worse in the last 6 months I mean the only thing that’s good about that place is the lab and the pharmacy.. when I went in and I thought I had pneumonia they wouldn’t even give me oxygen and they knew I couldn’t breathe or they wouldn’t give me a breathing treatment for my asthma so yeah not so good to go here anymore.Sharon Banks Came here 3 times in a week because I kept feeling worse by the day instead of better. They pretty much did nothing for me. Finally I went to the banner emergency room. They immediately put me in ICU. I was having an allergic reaction to the original medicine UC Health kept giving me. Why didn’t UC Health figure it out. I shouldn’t have had to go somewhere else. I could have died.Andrew Richards Worst service I have ever had to just get blood drawn. Everyone hypes up fort collins but of this is the health care services to go with community you can count me out!Dorsie Mullen⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI really can’t say enough about the excellence we experienced during an emergency visit on Saturday night. From the moment we walked through the doors, every single person we encountered here was kind, caring, knowledgeable, and professional. Wonderful staff. Im so thankful to have tf his facility as an option for those emergency situations that come up.Craig Barney We received horrible “care” for both of our children this last Feb. My son was coming down with the flu and we took him in to get him on Tamiflu as it has done wonders for him in the past. The doctor never did more than poke her head in the exam room (honestly, we didn’t even know it was a doctor) and were told, “It’s not the flu, he doesn’t even have a fever”. The next night, he had a raging fever and was back into Urgent care, where he was diagnosed with the flu. For his misdiagnosis and lack of any exam from a doctor and downright disrespectful acknowledgment for our concerns, we were billed over $1800. The same night, my daughter was suffering from a horrible headache that was into at least 3 days duration. We took here in at the same time (she has zero history of migraines). The doctor there, talked with her (no physical) for a couple of minutes, ordered an expensive injection and said she has migraines. The injection helped somewhat for an hour. We went home and she was back to the same level of pain within an hour. The next available appointment, we took her to our family doctor, who diagnosed her with a sinus infection and her headache was cured after the first dose of antibiotics. For this misdiagnosis and inappropriate treatment, we we billed over $2600. The grievance process with UC health is awful. They won’t let you talk with any person that has any decision making ability. It’s much easier to deny, deny, deny when you don’t actually talk with the people, but rather read their cases on paper or read someone else typed synopsis. I followed the protocols – sending emails and giving verbal reports to someone who was merely a typist only to get a cold letter response saying, essentially, “No, claims unwarranted, give us our money”. We know we misdiagnosed and didn’t do physicals but we want our money anyway. UC health is taking physical exam findings, talking with patients medical culpability out of medicine. UC health will never see another dime of our families money. I plan on complaining to what ever board of medicine I need to as I think their care was deplorable both during and after the experience.Vin Demoine I am a taxi driver who does medical runs and I had picked up a woman who had just been discharged, not even 600 ft away she starts to have a seizure and is foaming blood from the mouth, so of course I pull back around as fast as I could to take her back so she can get help from people who know what I’m doing. ALL 5 EMPLOYEES waltz on towards me with frustration and annoyance, rolling their eyes like they didn’t want to do anything with the lady unconscious in my seat. The main doctor took even longer to get to the car and just kind of stared at her like he didn’t want to have to take her out of the car and I should’ve just taken her home and dropped her off on a porch. His emotionless attitude and lack of urgency really did not leave a good feeling with me. That was the worst first impression of an emergency staff I have ever witnessed. I am honestly appalled. Please I beg of you if you have something serious, or major like that, please go to a larger main hospital. Banner, PVH or the new one on lady moon. But do not go here unless it’s for something simple That was ridiculous, I still can’t get over their lack of compassion and urgencyCaitlyn Graham Absolute WORST experience ever. Yesterday morning I was experiencing strange episodes where I was barely able to breathe, I could barely take even the shortest of breath. It was miserable and I knew something was wrong. I was rushed into the urgent care down the street, they told me I need to go to ER imediately so I went here… I sat in the waiting room for at least 25 minutes (which I felt was odd for an ER) and it all went downhill from there. The male nurse was the most condescending unprofessional nurse you could imagine, Arguing with me over and over about my symptoms. He wouldn’t listen to a word I said and literally kept dropping almost everything he would pick up (I thought he may have even been drunk no joke) He even dropped some sort of bottle on top of the needle in my hand while taking a blood draw! After they injected me with some sort of muscle relaxer they began to rush me out as soon as possible, I asked to please get an x-ray of my chest because somethings wrong with my breathing it’s very painful. A different position came in, he was friendly and took x-rays. The problem was, immediately after they told me everything was normal and started cleaning up and helping me out of the bed. I debated to see the photo because I was starting to feel worse and they told me I couldn’t see it but they could put it on her A different position came in, he was friendly and took x-rays. The problem was, immediately after they told me everything was normal and started cleaning up and helping me out of bed. I requested to see the xray because I was starting to feel worse but they told me I couldn’t see it. I started feeling weird about the situation, so I asked a different doctor and finally they told me if I waitd OUTSIDE or in the waiting room they would bring it to me! Again I was feeling worse, My breaths were extremely short and I felt my lungs are filling with liquid. I was in that waiting room for at least another 20 minutes and could not wait any longer. I stood up and turned at the counter and a man looks at me and says in a rude tone “what’s up?” With no Xray I just walked out of that nightmare of an emergency room and I will never be back. going elsewhere to get a second opinion today.Reatha Blumenthal⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedTook my dad in for chest pain, he was seen quickly by a very competent doctor. The staff was amazing, very polite!Dusty Sessions don’t go here! This is a stand alone ER that is not associated with the hospital. It will be out of network, expensive, and they DO NOT NEGOTIATE! Not great care, and not worth the HUGE bill I received! I asked for an itemized bill, and it reads “Emergency room services $x”. They won’t disclose any costs. And I can’t get ahold of anyone but an 800 number. Eequests to be transferred are a kind quit and being told the other line is too busy and someone will call me back. Just don’t go here! It’s a private company ready to rip you off. I have no other discourse than to leave a bad review and hope they go out of business. Just go to the hospital!!alexis chaquell p.⭐️⭐️This is a great emergency room to go in because the wait is not typically long and I love the 24 hour blood drawn option. Yet the last time I brought my baby in for a concern of mine, the doctor was rude that I even brought him in and we were forgotten for 1 hour afterwards! I was told we needed to wait for final paperwork, after an hour I went out and asked where it was and was told they thought I left long ago… on top of that they never billed my sons insurance and now I have to deal with the billing department. Very unprofessional.J Ot⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Quick response and short wait. Could be a little more meticulous.Brandon Castleberry⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedThe whole family was very sick so we all went in together. They had us in the back within 5min. We were in and out within 30 min and our prescription was ready before we even walked up to their pharmacy counter. The staff including the doctor and nurses were all very friendly and helpful through every bit of it.CeeGee⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedGood treatment on an unexpected visit I made there. Staff was efficient and made me feel comfortable and calm.Alexandria Lenon⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedVery efficient and well educated on what they are doing. The staff is incredibly nice!CR MN Awful customer/patient service! Rude!!!!Shawn Hutchison This is a review of the healthcare system as experienced at UC Health ER on Harmony.. Went to the ER yesterday with my girlfriend. They said she probably didn’t have a dislocated shoulder but they’d do an xray to know for sure. Asked how much it would cost, and it took 5 people 20 minutes to give us a price. $420. In 2 minutes I talked with a place that will do it for about $70. Turns out it’s the same place the ER DR was going to send us. Ask for an “order” from him to get the xray, says he’ll write it up. Nurse comes back in 5 minutes, tells us we have to go to another doctor to get the order before we can get xray. Hmmm. So If we pay 350$ more we can go now, but If we don’t want to/can’t we have to spend more money and waste more time to go to another Dr and end up at the same place!?! They would not even tell us the cost of a visit. Only went because they said they could determine and fix a dislocated shoulder, which a chiropractor suggested might be the issue. Turns out the internet and experience is more helpful than our medical community. 2 pieces of KT tape nd already great improvement. Will be followed up with rotator cuff exercises (which is the actual nature of the injury). UC Health ER doctor wrote us a $420 xray and 2 prescriptions, none of which would actually help solve the problem. Makes me wonder what actually drives our healthcare system; desire to make people well, or..v starr⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️very quick and effecient staff…so much better than staff at older PVH/UCM staff hospital care, which can cost you 5-6 hours of your time at the older ER. PLUS these docs, here, actually act like they CARE, but do not expect any diagnosis, profound awhah moments, or real doctoring. most hospitals are bandaid stands, now. they assume the least and treat you as such..you’re lucky if you are chronically ill, if they do more then a bag of saline, a cbc panel and a anti nausea med…no…do not expect real doctor services. However, they are quick, get a lot done very quickly, and very efficient, as well as being kind, here. thank you for that part!!!Nathan Farrell This place will just to milk your insurance! My son dislocated his knee and we had to take him to a second hospital to be treated! This place has nothing to treat you in case of emergency do not come here!
