Mahtab Partovi⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedThe best of the best! From the ER to critical care, all the nurses, doctors, care staff are incredible. They are kind and empathetic. They are take the time to explain everything and answered all of my questions during difficult times. Very grateful to everyone there. Oh, and Valet parking!!!!Melissa HHorrible. HORRIBLE place. My aunt was taken here by ambulance. Go to ANY other hospital if you can. Worst experience from an Emergency Room. They kept telling us the doctor said this, the doctor said that but he didn’t come speak with her. She was in her “room” for almost 5 hours and the doctor was literally four feet from her separated by a curtain listening to the neighboring patient complain about the condition of her nursing home on three separate occasions but did not even attend to my aunt. Finally a nurse came and said “doctor says it’s time for you to go.” He didn’t even discharge her. Maybe this horrible ER just doesn’t cater to melanin patients. DISGUSTING.Nima Aghdaii⭐️⭐️Doctors here are great. Nurses are hit and miss. Some are extremely knowledgeable, helpful and kind while some may use insensitive wording to convey a message to the point my wife was crying for a while. But beyond all, the facility is old and everything is kinda rusty. Bathrooms have super old tiles and look kinda gross and we had a lot of trouble with the transportation. Everytime they want to move you to another room or you’re about to be released, consider waiting 2 hours for facility to come pick you up. I ended up taking out luggage up and down to the car myself. Overall, not what you expect for one of the best hospitals in the area.Sara Hubbell⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedReally pleasantly surprised by my experience at the ER! They got me into a room in less than 15 minutes, were very kind and attentive, excellent customer service! One of my quickest and most pleasant ER experiences ever! Highly recommend.Fabi Larrea Matus⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️The wait was a little long, but the ER was full. The doctor spoke me approximately 5 minutes. However, the highlight was that the nurse George, who was not even assigned to me, was so caring, attentive and efficient. I can’t imagine how great he is to his patients which he’s actually assigned to! Deserves a promotion for sure.Anthony CrespoThief’s, liars, crooks, con artists. Told them I wasn’t sure if my medical insurance was active and I didn’t not to see a doctor or get any treatment until that I was certain. Gave me no treatment had me wait 2 hours to check if my insurance was active. Then tried to charge me $700. Unethical, immoral, it’s very disturbing that healthcare is like this these days. They are profesional hustlers. If you can’t trust you medical professionals to be honest how can you trust them with your health or your life. I recommend NEVER using this Facility even in an emergency. Can’t trust them.さかばとう剣心This place is absolutely terrible and waste of time/money. It’s took a long time to get seen and the quality/professionalism of the treatment is horrible. My forearms are feeling numb/sore, and don’t have any strength from time to time for weeks. I’ve tried to do some research on my own online and the web said it might be a cervical spondylosis from the neck that effects the muscle nerve. And I do feel pain on my neck as well. So I explained this to the doctor. And the doctor called Dayton asked me to pull his arm to see if I have strength, he saw I can still be able to lift my arm and pull, he said “well the best we can do is to get you some X-rays…” I asked if I can get some referral on the neck specialists and he’s like yeah I would provide you a list later. So I got my neck X-rays taken, took another hour to get the results. Later a nurse came out, handing over a prescription saying I need to take ibuprofen for the pain relief…I asked is there something wrong with my neck. And the nurse said,” No, it’s not broken or anything.” I asked did Dr. Dayton asked provided a list of specialists for my future reference? And the nurse sorta beat around the bush saying,” oh yeah you can follow up by calling our number.” Then I asked to get a disc that has my X-rays and left. Dr. Dayton had not come out ever since I took my X-rays. So basically I spent 2 hours just to take X-rays. Later in the day I went to a different facility and present them my neck X-rays results. They said it’s cervical spondylosis right away when they saw the X-rays… Do not come to this facility. Wast of time and money.Blake AshtonI walked in to the hospital ER yesterday 13Feb2020 at 1300hrs. Waited about 10 min before being addressed by a receptionist. I was able to then present my paper showing I am severely neutropenic and should not be made to wait in the ER to him. I was seen about 7-10 min later in one of the back rooms where my blood pressure, temperature, and heart rate was taken. I showed the lady in there the same note to which she replied, ok I’ll put you in the system as URGENT URGENT. We spoke for a little. She was a nice lady. I then went and waited with my fiancé in a corner of the ER because I shouldn’t be around other sick people. It was about an hour before I spoke to a new receptionist asking her how much longer it would be for me while presenting her with my paper from my doctor. She told me 15 min. they’re cleaning my room. So I don’t have to be in the ER I can wait in my car and she’ll come out and grab me if they come earlier. So, we walked to grab my car and pulled it to the ER. We waited about 15min when I asked my fiancé to valet the car since the time was getting close to us being checked in and we’ll wait outside with my two bags for the extended stay I was expecting, seeing how I have to get a transfusion and a bone marrow transplant because I have aplastic anaemia. We waited outside for about 20 more minutes before I decided to go in and ask the receptionist again how long it would be, because it’s cold outside. She stated she doesn’t know. So I went back outside and waited almost another 20 minutes before deciding to leave. In total I waited roughly 2 hours. Before leaving I went back in to talk to the receptionist. I calmly and professionally explained to her that she shouldn’t give me a specific time even if it’s an estimate. Because she did that and my expectation were based off what she told me, we were waiting outside in the cold. She should’ve just stated she couldn’t give me a time, that way we could’ve just stayed in my car… I can’t believe that I couldn’t wait in any room regardless to if it was an ER room or not. At this point if I get sick from all the people in the ER, coughing and sneezing when I first waited, that virus could kill me. Hence why I am upset. (Pictures posted on Yelp)Kim⭐️⭐️I was shocked! The emergency room was empty, EMPTY! Even though there were incredibly few people there, it went relatively slow but compared to other medical centers it went very quickly. They almost took us to do the wrong test for a completely different ailment and as it turns out they grabbed the “wrong patient” SCARY! they had my friend on a bed in the hallway and I thought that was ridiculous. She was in so much pain and I’m sure the passing people didn’t help much.Leah Wooren⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedWow I came in on a Sunday morning because I thought I had broken my foot and it was so quick! There was no wait and I was seen right away. I got an x-Ray within 10 minutes and found out it was only a sprain. Everyone was super nice and helpful.Laura Servellon⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedMy dad pass 2013, he was treated here. When I took my dad in the urgent care, no question ask they treat him like family. I was blessed to find this hospital and have the opportunity to stay with my dad a little longer… Doctors, Nurse even the cleaning crew was great.Gratitude Attracts Blessings – Sam⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedAs a repeat patient who has had multiple life saving procedures at the UCLA Medical Center, Santa Monica, I absolutely love the doctors, nurses down to those often forgotten, the janitorial staff. Between the choice of going to UCLA Ronald Reagan Hospital in Westwood or to UCLA Medical Center, Santa Monica, I’ve traveled the extra distance past UCLA Ronald Reagan Hospital to get to UCLA Medical Center, Santa Monica. One can compare the Google and Yelp ratings between the two hospitals to see a clear contrasting. Be grateful for the blessings in life and God will bless you with many more reasons to be grateful.Allen JeffersonI was having problems with one of the nurses. I asked for a supervisor and this guy named David Bailey came in. He said that he is the nursing officer over all of the nurses. I told him the problem and he said if I agreed to meet with him after work at a club, he would take care of the nurse problem for me. I told him I wasn’t gay then he got mad and stormed out like a little sissy. I won’t be going back there. The guy must have been looking for a “good time”. Disgusting.Mike Green⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedThis is top a notch hospital! I experienced true American service the first time in about 7 years. Everyone, including billing manager, nurse, security, doctors was more than great! Trust me, I’m a very, very picky person. They made my stay a very pleasant, 5 star experience. They kept my wife calm while I’ve been under treatment, made every update on time and took care of everything possible! But, with everything in this life – there is a price tag and you’ll get what you pay for. You should be an adult and take responsibility of your financial situation, hire a professional or do your own research about procedures you gonna get, check your insurance benefits and get a written confirmation from everywhere. This is not an Amazon, stuff is complicated.More Vid⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedMy son couldn’t have been I better hands then with Dr. Bowen. No one ever wants to have to see a doctor if you need to UCLA is should be your first choice.chris corballyIm a type 1 diabetic; I went in for food poisoning and unfortunately as I was in the waiting room asking to get my blood sugar tested; this psycho nurse at the front desk (who was over worked) by sitting on her butt apparently said you don’t need to take your blood sugar you took it when u got in; however since she has the faintest idea how type 1 diabetes works; my sugar was neglected the rest of the night. I received saline fluids and on I went; when I left the hospital I got home within 10 minutes and my blood sugar was 42 when I got home. PATHETIC; I’ve been a UCLA health patron for 17 years and that’s the service you provide? I could’ve had a seizure. These people are absolutely insane go to St. John’sLeonardo SardinhaI went to the emergency room with 3 kidney stones, I stayed in the middle of the corredor, they gave me meds as needed. I didn’t need it for few weeks when I came to pick them up the doctor himself along with the hospital said it wasn’t valid anymore and if I want another prescription I would have to reentre again paying the ridicules amount again for nothing!!!Jeremy Heidl⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedThe ER saved my moms life and the ICU kept her alive! She’s made an incredible recovery that wouldn’t have been possible without the amazing team at UCLA SM.Tim KennellyIf you need to go to the ER and don’t have thousands of dollars in disposable income, stay home and die instead. Vote Bernie Sanders.Molly Ross⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedAwesome experience. I went in for a Vasovagal Syncope attack (didn’t know really that I had the condition so it resulted in a pretty violent seizure-esque panic attack). Everyone from the woman who took my name, the first nurse who took my vitals, the next nurse who asked about me and let me vent about my ex, to the doctor who was super informed, the x-ray guy who I admittedly made a pregnancy joke to and he didn’t think it was very funny.. Just EVERYONE, from start to finish, was absolutely amazing and super welcoming. Did not make me feel ridiculous or unimportant whatsoever. 10/10 would have panic attack again.Gillian Hutshing⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedBeautiful hospital, excellent care.Bobby N⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedService was good, the nurses were very caring. The nurse Carmencita grove was lovely. She kept checking on me and went above and beyond what the expected service was. The night doctor Daniel Kahn was the most caring and concerned doctor I had there out of all the doctors that checked on me during my stay. The nurse Kelli gramlich was also very good and helpful with everything.John Mullen⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedTop talent located in UCLA Santa Monica. Doctors and nurses. We are fortunate.Irma Iniestra⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedAfter another visit to this emergency room I must post a comment here; I know UCLA cares about feedback and would like to share this experience that almost made me cry. We showed up at the emergency room with a very dehydrated, very scared girl. We know that the first thing she will face will be a needle and from there on whatever the doctors think is necessary. She was very scared, was poked and checked and we know that gave her a lot of anxiety; the doctors ordered a CT scan and they moved us to radiology, there we met this guy Michael J. White, they moved the gurney in and I noticed that instead of explaining me (which I already knew) he focused on our girl, the way he made sure she saw his face when he spoke and how he explained her what he was about to do gave me chills, he spoke with such tenderness letting her know that he was there to help her; he told her that if she needed to throw up she could do it and told her he did not care bout her messing up his table, that she was first; he took his time explaining her what she could expect to feel with the contrast that was going to be injected and I saw my girl visibly relax for the first time since we arrived to the emergency department, he never stopped talking and reassuring her giving her confidence….That definitely was priceless…. God bless you Michael J. White you are amazing 🙂Itzmariano 77⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedLisa and Lena Mantler were there today and they loved the service ❤️April McQuade⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedClean, well run hospital with plenty of green spaces and healthy food served.Dennis RoudoyStay away from this place. That’s a rip off they tell you over the phone it will cost you 400 dollars. Then they charge you 400 and 1 245 usd on top of it. How is it still legal to hide from your patient how much it actually costs. It’s a lie and must be illegal to lie over the phone and hide the fact the the hospital charges extra 1 245 USD. And all of that after insurance paid. For a pretty simple procedure which I could have done for 250 USD in another santa Monica clinic. I regret going there…Karo Cortez⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI give UCLA Santa Monica 5 Stars because their staff treats you with respect and dignity. I was hospitalized about 2 months ago for a kidney surgery. All Nurses were so kind to me I have no words to thank the whole team at the 4th Floor ( and I don’t remember which wing) but they were all amazing!!! Super happy with the doctors and nurses michael wallI tried three times to call my brother and got a dead line. Asking for the operators help was useless.Joy G⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedEveryone from doctor, nurses, care partners, housekeepers, lab techs, ultra sound techs have been super helpful and nice I’m from Las Vegas and I just cant explain and thank youCindy McQuade⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedClean, Beautiful, well managed, caring competent staff, tasty foodCharels Tysun⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedThe Doctors nurses assistants were all exceptional. I was very sick and near death. My Primary Doctor, a female saved my life. Her compassion care devotion skills and diligence were amazing. I truly owe my life to the Staff at the UCLA medical Center as well as Ronald Regan UCLA Westoodonefyneborycua⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedDr. Bowen made my son very comfortable during and after surgery. Every staff member in the surgical department was friendly and very attentive. Thank you to Dr. Bowen and the surgical staff for an excellent job. Only issue I can say I had was admissions clerk Jose Victor Alvarez was insulting by a gesture made when I answered yes that I do work, I guess he figured because I had tattoos I didnt have a job.H LeFurgy⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedUCLA Santa Monica is one of the best hospitals in the world.Ms CaliI noticed how they discriminate against people of color I was standing in the cafeteria and there was a black guy who appeared to be homeless and I didn’t like the way he was treated it’s sad that you have people out here that have mental issues and there is really no help for them out this is why we have so many mentally ill homeless people and they’re treated like trash it really bothers me because that is somebody’s child and also some of the nurses are flat-out lazy when it comes to Patient CareYumyam L⭐️⭐️⭐️Stuff are awesome. Parkings are awful.Dante Harrington⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedBest ER, Hospital on the Westside hands down.James BondThis hospital discriminates against medi – cal patients. refuses a administrator when asked none are available nor the administration. They make generalized assumptions that all medi – cal patients people of color and poor are drug addicts denying pain medications and or psychiatric medications in a emergency – when more doctors nurses and medical staff are the addicts – often working i think all medical personal here should undergo randomized drug testing @ governmental facility. Refusal of administration- patient rights violated – billed wrongfully unable to resolve any situation as staff is not present but paid and on duty but not on site or campus – constantly in the neighborhood abusing homeless and poor You are better of in county if you can get there This hospital could cost you your life. Both my mother and sisterin law were in emergency my mom on medicare freezing in hallway sis with blankets given a pvt room my mom released with internal bleeding having ro return several times – this organization is a harmful entity to the poor we need it to stop.Jon Pope⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI was ran over by a police car while sleeping on Santa Monica beach after a neutral milk hotel show I had hitchhiked to see from Oregon. Without a cell phone I screamed for help, then passed out. Next thing I know I am waking up inside a hospital still screaming with a new scar but alive. I am probably a slightly difficult patient but UCLA gave me the best care in the world and I thank them for that.andrea frenderIf I could give zero stars I would my son was brought to the emergency room on July 9 when they called me in New York the social worker did not even know how she knew my sons name because she claimed he didn’t have any belongings on him they kept saying that my son was found on responsive when later I found that he was actually wide-awake They told me he had anoxic brain injury which I now know that was caused by the people in the emergency room that induced coma he had a reaction to the anesthesia then when they induced coma again at a later time because the anoxic brain injury to be worse then they called me to immediately flight to California again to take him off life support as they said that he has no brain activity and would never get any better than he was at that point that his kidneys will never work again and he would always be in a nursing home they were almost forcing me to do it but I did not and he now currently Is in a subacute facility learning to walk again but he is no longer on dialysis like they claimed he would be for the rest of his life and he can talk and eat and I would love to call Dr. Hsu and Dr. Cohen and tell them what I think of them but I’ll be the bigger person please pray that your loved one never has to go to this hospitaltherese queeley⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedOutstanding care ! !Sharon Daly⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI had spinal surgery at the hospital, last year; Dr. McBride my neurosurgeon.Very fine experience, all around. If you need a hospital, try to have your doctor and your insurance send you to this one.. Excellent staff, from the surgeon to his assistants MDs, the RNs, right on through to the orderlies and cleaning personnel. A top-notch, impeccably clean, well-run medical facility. UCLA got it right, in this one.Steve Buckles⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedThey take very good, no great care of you. From the greaters to your doctor. Everyone is very knowledgeable in her or his position. Thank you UCLA for my excellent care.July Monday⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedIt gets five stars because I was born here Susan Eisen⭐️⭐️My husband was airlifted from Las Vegas to this hospital. The ICU nurses were great but my husband was bumped from a needed procedure two days in a row. He was not allowed to eat or drink for two days and the lack of communication from his doctor made for a poor experience. Dr. Smith, the ICU doctor basically said that my husband was an add on and other people coming in from out of town that had scheduled procedures took precedence. Dr. Oh, my husbands pulmonologist never communicated the change in schedule and the ICU nurses kept checking on the OR status or we never would have been told anything. We would never return to this hospital.Tim Deslippe2 hours+ in waiting room for Orthopedic appt. The DMV is more efficient!JANE PARSONS⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI recently had back surgery at your hospital and then spent the next 4 days recuperating there. My surgery was very successful and the hospital staff were excellent. The nurses and care partners were very attentive and responsive to my needs. My requests for assistance were responded to quickly and professionally. I have not been in the hospital previously but have assisted my mother during several hospital stays and found the level of care at UCLA Santa Monica to far exceed anything we have experienced before. Thank you for making my stay as easy as possible. Special thanks to my Saturday nurse who had very helpful information about getting my prescriptions for pain medication filled timely and without problems.Love YourselfI was very happy with some of the doctors here, but the nurses made it very clear that I was not a priority. I noticed my IV had been itching and irritating me for 3 days, but I was told many times that it looked fine. Every nurse had a different excuse not to change it when it visibly looked like it was getting infected. On the fourth day, I literally pushed my call light button all day long and begged to have it changed as it was now burning, stinging, and itching like never before. I was told by the nurse that she was too busy with other patients, didn’t have time, my IV looked fine, and that she might get to it later. I was livid all day. By the time a different nurse finally changed it in the evening, the site looked bright red, blistered and inflamed. It was very hot and painful. I’m appalled at how this was handled by the neglectful nurses. Instead of helping with pain, they gave me more! On top of that, not one apology!CARTER LANCEdidnt save Tom Petty :/Delivered BYJESUSIgnored by night staff. Doctor had one plan of treatment and changed it and would not communicate with me as to the change. They released me with the minimum care required and I was experiencing pain in different area and I was advised that they checked me in for a different reason and that is all that they need to address. Room bathroom floor was not clean. A very concerning issue, is that I believe that they have hidden smoke detector cameras in patient rooms, at least mine seemed to have it. I had an in room ultrasound of private anatomy only to notice later that there was a hidden smoke detector camera in the room. They should at least tell patients, so they can make sure they are not changing or being exposed in the room! Wonder if anyone else noticed this while being hospitalized there.Daniel LoefflerI had a massive heart attack a couple of months ago and it was completely cool and the people were awesome. I had a surgical procedure done and was out on the third day with an unlimited one time travel voucher. I’m homeless and doing pretty good out here in the same area. I am confident that today UCLA will assist me with housing.ballon decorationsandy contreras⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedBest hospital in town I won’t go to any other placeJames DeTar⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI have been seeing Dr. Curcio at UCLA Medical Center for several years. He and all the staff there have always been attentive and caring. I really appreciate the medical treatment I get there and highly recommend him and the center.Todd Brown⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Fortunately I took to Yelp to find the best place to fix my mess of an ankle, which, in combination with my Anthem BOBS urgent care search, turned out to be a great decision. The appointment/check-in is a cinch and the lobby is decorated beautifully, with a spacious and well-lit waiting area. This is how all healthcare places should look like. The last thing patients need is a crowded stuffy waiting room to prolong their suffering. The nurses were super friendly and the entire place is spotless. Got out of here in 40 minutes with a $40 copay. Worth every cent.Distinguishing factor: I never knew urgent care places can adopt a Marina-chi decor, and this place is it.Jennifer Quezada⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedHad a great birthing experience here. Staff is great and rooms were good. They had a delicious GF menu too – free for mom and a congratulatory breakfast for dad. Nurses were efficient and caring. Thank you!!Gutemberg santos⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI really loved this Santa Monica polyclinic from Los Angeles. amber williamsI’m a doctor at Westwood facility it’s great however my sister worked for Santa Monica Resources team and there is a brutal, Irish lady or white by the name of Elizabeth Miaster who fired my sister wrongfully no explanation no warning she just fired her I wish she was ever a patient of mine I would remind her that everyone deserves a reasons PLEASE viewers don’t ever get service from this lady she is the director of resource team she has no heart at all…Sara Jordan⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedIve never had such a great experience at a hospital and I’ve spent a lot of time in hospitals. The doctors are very good and the nurses are incredible. I believe they’ve saved my life, for now. I’ve been here for a week and have probably cried a dozen times over the quality of care. As long as I live in the area I will never go to another hospital.MeeZy StudioZMan oh man…the only reason Im even ok giving one star, is because the original people were very helpful in my situation… I was in the middle of switching doctors due to new insurance, and I came to them after being off my meds for 2 days. They gave me a 5 day supply. 7 Days later, i had to go back for another small extension…this time written for 10 days.. Then, this time i have been off 2 days again but finally saw a doctor and got a prescription. Went to fill it, but the UCLA ER doctor had written it as 1pill 3x instead of 2pills 3x…therefore, it is too early to fill. Blantent neglagence to prescribe a medication, but write it for half the dose, and NOT tell the patient u decided to cut his dose in half…then I found out that the first time, it was written for 1pill 3x as well…why they wrote them this way, i dont know…They were fully aware of the dose I take. Im sure it is in my intake files. If they werent aware, they would have questioned me coming back after 8 days, saying i had been
