heidi kurt⭐️⭐️⭐️As a nurse myself of almost twenty yrs at Another facility I’m taken aback at the differences from one hospital to the next to make a long story as short as possible, my mother had major back surgery at Finley and must have been sent home with homecare.. me as her only support. Nobody from Finley ever spoke with me before she was discharged but I was present at her house when the homecare nurse came for first follow up a couple days after. The homecare Rn was excellent and had very many concerns (pain and not suitable for my mother to be staying in alone as she was having muscle spasms almost regularly, generalized weakness and no way to get herself food or take care of herself and she almost fell because she didn’t even go home with a cane or walker and had multiple (atleast 30 steps to get to her main floor not to mention another atleast ten up to her bedroom) so her friend and I made her a make shift cot in main floor by bathroom which must have not been enough support for her back and maybe caused all the muscle spasm pain? Looking back..more thorough discharge planning as well?… But my initial frustration was when the homecare RN strongly advised I take my mom back to Finley Er and insist they readmit her. Her words exactly ‘they will try to send her home but refuse to take her back’. FYI my mom is also a nurse of over 50 years but was pretty much alone and helpless. I had a young family with 6 kids and had to work a 12 hr night shift myself that night with no other family support. The lady ER dr refused to admit her and I felt we seemed as a burden to her. The social worker in the ER also seemed very stressed with the situation. Where I work as a nurse we admit people left and right for much less reason… keep them for days and make try to make sure they are going back to a suitable safe environment. The SW finally found placement at skilled facility over an hr away, I providing transportation. It was a very exhausting and frustrating time with two toddlers as well. When we got there that one poor nurse seemed unexpected we showed up in the middle of her nighttime med pass.. which was probably already overwhelming for her.. I felt horrible for her!!! Nursing is a hard job.. and I saw how being on the other end is hard as well! My mom has months of therapy there and is now back to nursing herself at the age of 72!Marty Krapfl⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️The ER and hospital are pretty dang good. I have never had anything bad to say about them. The only thing I can tell people is to plan on ordering food in. They have the hardest time giving food that is edible. Occasionally you can get something that resembles decent food.Vaughn Recker⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Best staff you could possibly ask for.Lisa JayDon’t have your baby at Finley. The Neonatal Nurse Practitioners in charge of your babies care will put them through every single procedure or test they can think of. Anything that’s a billable service. As parents your only option for the care of your infant is the Neonatal Nurse Practitioners. There are two of them that rotate. There are no pediatricians on call or on staff. When I have time I will come back and leave a more detailed review. I wanted to get something posted to save others from the heartache we experienced as parents.Charlie HOLLENSED⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI’m presently in the ER watching them provide excellent care for my mother-in-law. The staff has been very considerate and very helpful. The procedures that need to be done have been ordered and performed quickly. We really appreciate the level of care.Douglas Montgomery⭐️⭐️Wife went ER and found out she had influenza b and pneumonia. Dr told her she was getting an antibiotic and other meds. She never received a prescription for antibiotic or get given it while there.. now they want her to come back up to rack up another bill. We feel like something this important shouldn’t have been forgot.Michael Holub⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedHad an overall wonderful visit. I wouldn’t want to need to return, but if an emergency situation comes up. Finley will definitely be my first choice. (Who wants to need to go to a hospital?)Kevin Duffy⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedIn the years of 2014, 2015 and 2016 I have had to be admitted to Finley for emphysema related problems about 11 times including one in intensive care. I was given the best treatment by the doctors and all the nurses and other staff, if I need to be hospitalized in the future, Finley is my first choice, the nurses are excellent, very attentive, understanding and caring, very professional and very nice, I thank all of you for the excellent care I have received.Jocelyn Flores⭐️⭐️They were friendly at first but they took about 2 hours and were rude after I told them I had things to do they completely showed no attention whatsoever I will most likely never go to Finley Hospital again.Janae Hennings⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedVery scary ER visit for seizure. They were great! Thank you so much for everything you did for me!V m⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedTHE BEST!!
