Before you go to University of Louisville Hospital, you may want to know what the people who have already gone to this Louisville emergency room think.
Terry Nelson⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedThey were crowded and stretched to capacity. They had every room filled and every space in the hallways. Yet the emergency room staff were efficient and caring. They did a great job.Theresa D⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI would like to Thank the staff of the ER for taking care of my 81 yr old mom and me they checked on me as well asked if I needed anything so THANK-YOU !( The security officer as well needs a Thank-You)midwest product reviews⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedWas treated in the er recently. Doctors and nurses were great. They took me back to the er a lot faster than I thought they would. They keep it good and clean.Fungus Head⭐️⭐️I went to the psychiatric unit of UofL willingly, as i needed help. I did not recieve that. In fact i left in worse shape than i had been prior. It was a bad experience. The doctors would not answer my questions or listen to a single word i said. I have numerous other medical diagnoses and there is documented proof of such. I sat there all night in pain and asked nurses if i could take the medication i was scripted. They said i had to wait for the doctor. The doctor did not see me until around 11am and that was adter a lkng wait. Im sure they are understaffed but i would have preferred to go to the ER. I recieved no relevant pssychiatric referals and the next day i felt worse than i did before. I dont recommend UofL’s psych department unless you are out of your mind.Jamie CarrollIt is totally not for handicapped people. No emergency light in the bathroom. My first nurse was very rude to me and the man nexed to me. My neurologist was a total quack! There was 10 or more people just standing around doing nothing but laughing and talking. I don’t even know why they are there. I hope that I never have to go back.Denise Puckett⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI rate the University of Louisville # 2 in America. Never go to Cleveland Clinic. I was referred to Cleveland Clinic in Ohio. I drove 8 hours, arrived May 9, 2019. I was treated horribly and I’m still traumatized the way I was treated. The Doctors, nurses, the entire staff at U of Louisville were Outstanding! I was treated with so much kindness, something I’m not use to, especially with my parasitic infection. I didn’t read my discharge instructions until the next morning. My diagnosis said Hookworm infection and only a week of anti parasitic medication. I’m not sure what I’m going to do when I finish my meds. July 22, 2019 my best friend drove me to U of L Emergency Department. My biggest mistake was avoiding U of L. While in Florida 2015 I was diagnosed with a hookworm infection. The Florida health department contacted the CDC so I was on 4 plus months of ALBENZA. My Humana pharmacist said I would have to stay on a maintenance program. I couldn’t find my doctor in Florida to start me on a maintenance program. Hookworm infection returned. I’ve been back in Ky for 2 1/2 years suffering horribly and no doctors would treat me, even though They copied my hookworm diagnosis from my doctor in Florida. Thank you University of Louisville Kentucky. I have a little hope and faith that the hookworm trails will die. I sure would love a portion of my life back.Rebekah ConlayTerrible! Save your time and go to a different hospital. Nurses would rather braid hair and talk than see patientsAmit Shanker⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️It’s in the city, so there was an hour that I was sitting in the waiting room in a lot of pain, waiting to be taken back, but I assume that their triage procedures were appropriate and they were seeing people based on need. Once I got back to the room, everyone was nice and knowledgeable. As far as people and service go, it was great. I only docked a star because I wish they had more capacity and could have seen me sooner.Emily⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedThank you to all the nurses and doctors at the UofL ER! My mom came in with a severe broken wrist and everyone, from the intake nurse to the orthopedist, was friendly, attentive and – most importantly – were VERY good at their jobs. Special thanks to Anne who did the x-ray, Nancy our nurse and Dr Faridi (her surgeon said Dr Faridi did a fantastic job with re-setting the bone and putting on splint).David CagleTwo of my employees were transported there after a big rig slammed into the back of one of my work trucks. One was strapped to a board as it was thought he had suffered a broken back. He was left out on a gurney for over 2 hours before they even checked him out and put him into a room. After the scans they said he didn’t have any broken bones, so they removed the neck brace and stitched up his chin. He had complained that the back of his head was hurting. I was in the room with him when the doctor inspected his head a told him there were no bleeding injuries there. Later his sister in law inspected his head and found the wound and informed them. They removed a decent size piece of glass out of the back of his head. I have complaints on the other guy”s treatment also but it isn’t as bad as the first one.Bri BeardStaff were polite, but the entire experience was awful.Gabriel Villa⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI was immediately serviced when I came in even though it was fairly full. The caveat is that I had an obviously broken finger so I am sure I was on the higher priority than some of the others who came in. The doctor was helpful and I received pain medication fairly quickly and was discharged within the hour with a splint and discharge instructions. Great experience although again that is if you have immediate emergency. I do not know how lower priority cases are handled.Abby BarnettAbsolutely horrible. Misdiagnosed me therefore giving me an unnecessary prescription that never fixed my issue. Went back up there to see if they would fix the problem and they cannot without charging me for a whole another visit. My bill $326 and won’t do anything to compensate their mistakes. Ridiculous and slow. Now having to go somewhere else and spend more money because they are uneducated!!!!!!!!!Cheri LamasterHow hard is it to find staff that treat people with respect? When i called to politely ask a question one staff member hung up on me instead of transferring and another was very rude. If I’m about to visit an emergency room the last thing i need is rude staff members acting like they can’t be bothered. Thanks for nothing Alexa.Michelle Sellers⭐️⭐️⭐️They took good care of meNathaniel BThis place is a hot mess! Long wait times, disgusting bathrooms with no hand soap, don’t expect to hear anything from the staff, just an absolutely terrible experience.Lauren coen⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedAbsolutely wonderful ER staff. They took outstanding care of me after I fractured my back in a mountain biking accident.Caliber Driver⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedVery nice facility always clean and staff are superb.Edmis Deivis Semanat AldanaThey will ridiculously overcharge you, really,go somewhere elseJesse Butler⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedSaved me.
