Tonya Gable⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedThis care team has always been fast, efficient, empathic, patient! I could go on how wonderful they have been to my son and myself some pretty scary situations.Shay MathiessonER used to be really good but now it just sucks! I’ve been really upset all day due to the uncaring quack who looked at my husband when I took him there this morning due to a severe toothache he was having. He had literally tried just about every over the counter to avoid going to ER! This am his pain was just too bad that he really needed to be looked at! Not only did the doctor make him wait a ridiculous amount of time even though nobody was hardly in that ER this morning, he did nothing to alleviate the pain! When he finally does decide to Grace us with his presence he takes a look at husbands mouth and acts totally grossed out by the looks of the bad tooth. He then goes on about how they don’t have a dental department but that LSU med center does and that he should go there promptly. He mentions prescribing an antibiotic but when my husband asked him if he could please give him something for the pain Dr. Williams replied with a very stern bordering on angry no! His reasoning being basically that because my husband has been suffering with this abscess for several days now what’s a few more days going to hurt? We just left after that. This ER used to be one of the best in the area but now they are ridiculous! I mean if that doctor could not see that my husband truly needed some relief from the pain then he must be one stupid s.o.b. but I think its more that they’re not dispensing narcotics to nobody no matter how bad the pain unless you are 70 or older then you MIGHT get some type of pain relief but if you’re middle aged or younger you can just forget it.Megan and Josh O’Neal⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedHe had the unfortunate experience of having to take or young child to the ER a few weeks ago. When I entered the doors I went for the first person I saw- the poor young man sitting at registration. I informed him of the situation that was going on with my 1 year old son. He immediately got on the phone to a nurse in the back. He stayed cool and collective and assured me someone would be right there to help. Shortly after we were immediate escorted to a room. Before we were even through the threshold, there were 3 male nurses in the room to help get us settled in. Our primary nurse, Rick, was one of the best nurses I have had the pleasure of dealing with. I immediately could tell he had that gift of working with children and their parents. He kept us well informed of the plan, what was going to happen next, any medication they gave, and even how log to expect everything to take. Even after he found out I am an NP, he continued to explain everything. The two gentlemen that helped us get settled also came in a number of times during our stay, to make sure we had everything we needed and to check up on our son. I was very pleased by the care Dr.Smith gave us. He was very thorough and had a wonderful bedside manor. He to kept us well up to date on what was going on and what to expect. Every person that was a part of our care greeted us with a smile and a comforting attitude. Even the phlebotomist and xray tech greeted us with a smile and a cool, calm, and collective manor. This night was one of the scariest of my life, and everyone in this ED helped to ease or minds and give our son wonderful care- that ultimately saved his life. The ED staff at WK Bossier should be very proud of the work they do every day and the care they provide. I am comforted to know this is the ED that is closest to our home, and will be there when our family needs them.Kimberly McKinneyI came in an ambulance and was laughed at and released a few hours later only to have to go back a couple of days later for the same problem. I don’t think I was ever properly diagnosed and am still having problems a month later. I’m switching to Christus.Rhonda DillionThis hospital ER sucks! IF you have to go to this hospital I feel sorry for you or your family members! DR Jeannie McCartney does not care about your pain!! She thinks everyone who comes to the ER are looking for a narcotic! Wrong!! My husband sat at home for almost 8 days dealing with this pain! He finally ask me to take him to the ER Sunday morning! DR Jeannie McCartney came in the room and ask my husband about what was going on with him! He tells her that the pain is so bad that he can’t even use the bathroom it hurts so bad! So she put two of her fingers on his lower back and ask dose that hurt! He had already told her that the pain was deep inside like a constant tooth ac she didn’t do nothing much to ease his pain. She didn’t even spend 3 minutes with him. No exrays nothing! She doesn’t care if you are hurting! It’s not her or someone she loves! I bet my right eye she wouldn’t let her loved ones hurt. Like she does everyone else! I wish that i would have read these comments Before taking him to this hospital! IF you truly are in pain This isn’t the hospital for you just saying! Just received a phone call for the head lady in charge of the ER. She just informed me that WK Bossier is trying to be a NARCOTICS Free hospital!! Now i know why he is still hurting! I told the lady on the phone Hell i can buy narcotics on the damn Street. But we are not drug addicts! I really can’t believe what she just said!! This is crazy! I will not ever go back to this hospital!!! Thanks & May God Bless you all! Ru Dillon.William DominguezWell, the first experience I had at this hospital was quite hospitable. Everyone was awesome when I had to get my gallbladder removed two years ago. Today however, I brought my wife to the ER for the same malfunctioning organ. Her experience delightful but I too had a physical inconvenience that was beginning to become unbearable. I have been experiencing a severe toothache for two days, so I figured I would get a little help for the infection and the pain. Low and behold I did receive two prescriptions for said symptoms and I do appreciate that. However, Doctor Jeannie McCarthy did not see it fit to help me in the here and now. This is unfortunate because now I will not get the opportunity to sleep well tonight and be rested for work tomorrow knowing the pain will surely return tomorrow before I can get my prescription for the infection and the mouthwash for the pain.(which probably will not help, lidocaine, ibuprofen, tylenol and even oragel maximum strength do not hardly dull this pain.) In conclusion, if you want to feel better after you leave don’t count on Doctor Jeannie McCarthy because she does not care about your pain. It’s rather ridiculously funny as well, they have a pain chart and it states in paraphrasing that their goal is to bring your pain level down. Thanks again for the horrible night of trying to sleep DOCTOR JEANNIE MCCARTHY!Penny HudsonSorry night staff can’t get help in ER No blankets Heat Can’t get a Nurse to even come check on their patients highly disappointed hereFrancis Rose⭐️⭐️⭐️The nurse sherry was the most horrible and hateful nurse ive ever met in my life. If shes your nurse i hope she doesnt treat you the way she treated me. I went to the closest hospital to my house do to my water breaking at 38 weeks. She acted as if i was the biggest inconvenience in the world for her cause i was there. I will prolly never come here again. I was so scared, nervous and in so much pain with my water breaking, and she was snobby ugly and so rude everytime she walked in the room. This lady should be fired, she messed up my IV, and she knew she did, she left it that way and my whole hand was swollen with fluid for 2 days. Then tried to repeat the iv stick still messed it up and she acted as if she did nothing wrong and didnt even apologize. Horrible horrible lady.Doug Morgan⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Nice pplMuhannad Matar⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedNice place
