MalloryyyI went in for chest pains and stomach acid, and they gave me toradol, which is a pain medication, even though I told them I have a stomach disease with ulcers lining my stomach. Toradol is one of the worst things you can give someone with a stomach ulcer, let alone multiple stomach ulcers. So now I’m having a terrible reaction to it and feel worse than I did when I went in. Wasted 6 hours there as well.Jodie HillHorrible place!!! My dad was there for 2 weeks, after going to the ER with pneumonia. When I left, the night they admitted him, he was fully awake, alert and talking to me. Then I get a call at 5:30 am, the next morning, telling me that he had to be intubated and put on ventilator! They did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to try to get him off the ventilator and then after 2 weeks, one of the ‘charge nurses’ actually tried to convince me “to let him die”!!! We immediately had him transferred to REX and in doing so, probably saved his life!Justin LoserI have never felt so profiled or treated like a criminal or a drug addict in my life until I was mistreated today 3/17/2019 in the emergency room by a physician assistant named Linda, I didn’t get her last name unfortunately. I went in for my mood stabilizer medication because I have a 2 year old that likes to hide things and put things in the trash. My wife and I assume that our son probably put it in the trash. I get my medications normally from the Durham VA hospital, which is over 2 hours away. I was instructed to go to my local ER to get a couple days worth until I can make it to Durham. The PA Linda came and told me that she’s not gonna give my mood stabilizer because it’s a controlled substance, which it is not nor is it a narcotic. I told her I’m not gonna argue with her but, it’s not on any list of controlled substances or narcotics. She told me “well it’s not my problem and it’s your job to keep up with your own medicine.” Funny thing is, I’m sure she saw that I work in law enforcement and I have been for the past 8 years and she should know that law enforcement on patrol are not aloud to be on any type of impairing medication. I assume she saw that I was law enforcement by my insurance and she doesn’t like us. She seemed to make any excuse to try to make me out to be a junkie until she ran out of excuses so she wanted to be very rude.J BThe worst place ever. I wish this place could just get shut down for how bad the service is. Ghetto night staff unprofessional. Will hang up the phone over and over on you like it’s not there concern. Whoever works nights in ER WILL BE GETTING A PERSONAL REPORT N I WILL MAKE SURE THEY Lose there job!! I promise!! Truly sad.Brianna BelcherThis emergency room is a joke.
