Jason Megaro⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedFantastic experience at Winchester Hospital Labor and Delivery and Mom and Baby. From start to finish the hospital, nursing staff and accommodations exceeded our expectations. We can’t recommend this hospital enough. Shout out to our amazing nurses Barbara, Lora, Joanna, Ann Marie, Elizabeth, Kellie, Karen, Kerry and Paula!Kate Perkins⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedWhat a pleasant experience. Everyone from start to finish smiled and introduced themselves at 3AM! Michelle, my nurse made me so comfortable and checked in often and offered fresh warm blankets. Dr. Graham involved me in the decision making of my care and spent more time than he needed to educating me about my condition. The ER entry and rooms are clean and well decorated. I’m honestly so impressed. Well done Winchester ER!Megan Drane⭐️⭐️⭐️I just delivered at Winchester. Labor and delivery was great. Nurses were fantastic. I was admitted for high level liver enzymes after a scheduled version. Deanna was my nurse and was fantastic! She was by my side thru the version and made me feel great. Alix was my nurse during delivery and she made me feel less scared and walked me thru everything. She made sure I felt comfortable and was a huge support during the prep for surgery when my fiancé couldn’t be there. She told me what to expect and it was exactly what she described. Dr. Cook did my section and I’m seriously thinking about switching to her for my OB. However, when I was transferred to the mom and baby unit, things went insanely downhill. (Except for Denise who was a great nurse who took great care of me) I had a c section and was to be hospitalized for 5 nights. Every nurse that came into my room would give me advice on breastfeeding, great right? But then the next on duty nurse would come in and tell me that what I was doing was wrong, when the prior nurse told me to do it. Insane lack of consistency across the board. They say ‘we don’t promote supplementing with formula’ but basically forced me to give my baby formula on the first day after delivery, even though I was producing. Nurses telling me to diaper over the umbilical cord, then another one would say not too. One entire day my vitals were not checked on. Was not told I had to request ibuprofen even though the nurses kept telling me this is what my treatment was. They waited until the day before discharge to do hearing test, bilirubin test, and then tell me my baby had to be on a feeding plan. All the nurses came in at once to do all of this at the same time and made me feel completely overwhelmed when the day prior, they could’ve easily had done some of this to eliminate the crowd. I was told by the lactation consultant that she would come to my room, never did. I had to change my own linens as they were only changed once by the nurse. Hard to do when you’re recovering from a surgery! I will not plan to have another baby here and suggest that you don’t either. Unless you can deliver and get out quick! Very disappointed.Khalid Marzouki⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI went today in early morning at 4:30 am to emergency hopital,my doughter was sick ,I went to thank all the overnight stuff for their excellent service, many thanks to doctor Jeffrey Graham MD For his good service.Jayecn96 NormandiaExtremely rude staff! They all seem like they’re just there for a paycheck. Doctors seem like they have no experience in the field and it takes forever to get any help. The machines they use are mediocre and medieval don’t seem accurate at all. I would not recommend ever going here horrible experience with my new born son!Jessica MorganPlease stay away from this emergency room! I was literally 8 months pregnant and went to the emergency due to hives that were all over my body. I spent not one, not two but almost 3 hours Waiting for someone to see me. The emergency room was practically empty. There were 4 providers on site. I could hear them laughing and talking about dinner at the station. The nurse that was on duty could care less about what was going on. 15 minutes turned into 30 minutes and that turned into 2 hours!!! Horrible!!!!!!!!Courtney Judd⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedTop of the line, informative, trusting and caring staff.Florencya NelsonThe worst hospital ever! Please don’t go here!Annika DerhamTerrible. Horrible. Tried to scam me into paying 1k for a referral from my doc. for a standard exam. Did not even bother to contact my insurance company. Will never come back here. Worst experience ever. Would NOT recommend coming here.Chris Getchell⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedKim and the overnight staff were great to us.Erin Highfill⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️I went here with my 11 month old who had a cough the last 2 weeks and was now spiking fevers (and didn’t want to go into the city…). It was easy to park. I was greeted the moment I walked in and was able to see a triage nurse immediately. We went from the triage room straight to our “full clinical” room. The wait time to see the next nurse and then the doctor was minimal. We got a chest X-ray, and the techs were WONDERFUL!! They were very nice and walked us through how to position my little one in the device to get her imaging done (it was a little strange, but the techs were great!). After, they gave my daughter a stuffed toy to cheer her up! Overall, I would say the experience was very positive! We got our diagnosis (pneumonia ), antibiotics and out the door in under 2hrs. Everyone was very nice and competent. The only reason I didn’t give more stars is due to the take-home papers. They were pretty bad. They didn’t include ANY of my little ones vital signs, including weight. There wasn’t any information on the fact that she had a chest X-ray showing consolidation and a swollen lymph node. The doctor communicated well that this swelling possibly needed to be followed up with in a few months with a repeat chest X-ray, but nothing was in my paperwork to take to my PCP.David Hedison⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedThey were amazing with my surgery and stay in the hospital. I found them to be more responsive than some of the larger hospitals.Steven Shea⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedOver the years I have had my two sons and daughter treated in the ED. Service has been outstanding. Conditions treated included broken toe, knee injury, shoulder injury, head injury and evaluation following a car crash. Also my wife had her broken ankle treated at the FMC Wilmington Urgent Care.Bernadel CharlesThey make you wait forever.GodTurtle6I walked out of this place at least 3 times without being seen. Once was when my daughter was 2 and couldn’t breathe. Two other times were for myself. Once I needed an abscess drained and IV antibiotics and another I had a respiratory infection. The most recent incident was 9 months ago. They signed me in and left me for dead. After waiting each time for over 4 hours I left and went to a city hospital where I was seen immediately based on the ABCs of medicine. And each time I received an insulting letter of apology from the president or a request to make a donation. Shove it. I almost went into respiratory arrest and had a leg amputation.Hongmei XuWaited for over 2 hours in emergency for my son’s fever. He got better before Dr saw him. ER dr could not find any issue then called a Paediatrician to confirm. No treatment was received except the Tylenol given by nurse. But we received 3 bills for this visit. 1ER copay, 2 for Paediatrician. Paid copay immediately and called hospital for the Paediatrician bill. Hospital said would review the bill, nothing heard back. Instead, the balance went to COLLECTION!!! Never go to WINCHESTER Hospital if you could.Patrick Carreiro⭐️⭐️Not the best stitches I have ever gotten.Fredy Loncarevick⭐️⭐️It’s sad because I saw my son in pain and anybody did anything to help him. I got there around 2 pm and my boy screamed 4 hours. He was suffering from constipation he didn’t take one Tylenol while we were waiting for the procedure.Elsa McNealyWorst Emergency Room in the world!!!!Jordyn WalshYou will wait forever while the nurses sit on their ass and act like they forgot about you
